We originally hit a snag with the work done but within 24 hours the actual work was rectified. Completed professionally . Tim was great while working through the snag and payment . So thank you for being very professional and fixing what was originally done. ⭐️

It's hard to fund trustworthy company's who offer a fair price for quality work. Well Gus Plumbing is it. Ive had them come by twice over the past few months and both times the service technician was courteous, respectful, helpful, and did a great job for a fair price. If you ever need a plumber hire these guys!

10/10, would recommend! Alex got here, not only on time but even a few minutes ahead of schedule. Thank goodness, because just like their slogan, I was about to cuss..but called Gus.!.! Alex was professional, efficient, and skilled. Thank you, to him and Tim, if I recall correctly, who I initially spoke with. I live and work in Dunedin, I'll be utilizing, and recommeding, you all again.

Need parts or repair? Excellent! Need to buy fixtures? Make the trip to Ferguson in Pinellas Park - Plumbing by Gus could care less. Zero customer service on this end.

Absolutely Deplorable!!! I live in a Condo Community with 5 units per building. The Tech turned the water service for at least 7 buildings to fix one outside valve with ZERO NOTICE. My Property Manager stated that they had made arrangements with Gus's weeks ahead of time, but Gus's was NOT able to give them a specific DATE/TIME that they would do the work, nor did they mention they would be turning off the water to at least 35 UNITS!!!! My wife was in the middle of a shower getting ready for work when the water cut out. I approached the Tech. (who was wearing headphones and couldn't hear me at first).. and asked if he could please turn the water back on for a few minutes as why wife needed to at least rinse off. He did not hear me, nor had he started the work yet.... Once he removed his headphones, I repeated myself. He said, NO, he can't turn ON the water...take it up with your Property Manager. I stated again, Turn on the water. By then, I was getting a bit annoyed with this person and said once more, "Turn ON THE WATER!" He then stated, after I had been attempting to keep my cool, "I don't know how you live your life or where your aggression comes from but if you don't leave I WILL CRACK YOU IN THE SIDE OF THE HEAD." Well, I looked at him, smiled and chucked and calmly walked away. (Combat Veteran Here...) He seemed further upset that I dismissed his empty threat. Fortunately, Gus's will NEVER be doing any work for my Management Company again. Oh, I failed to mention that there were 4 other residents that approached him regarding turning off the water, 3 before me and one after. His comment to the person after me (an elderly man) "Wow, People are just too sensitive here!" He was also Equally Rude to another neighbor by mocking his N.J. accent. My wife called Gus's. Hopefully and for all of our sake, Including Gus's, this guy gets FIRED!

With no intent of waiting a bunch of time in an attempt to find a plumbing person and another "what seems like forever" in line to pay for the item(s) that I would purchase at Ace Hardware, I opted to go to Home Depot. Earlier yesterday morning I had removed my leaking and "limed up" stem from the center of the cartridge in the valve in my guest shower. After finally finding a guy there at Home Depot who was extremely busy in the plumbing department, he quickly brushed me off and showed me a book that was inclusive of photos of hundreds of products that resembled my defective one. Coincidentally, as he walked off he also shared that I might find a place in Dunedin somewhere around the high school named something with GUS in it. So I turned to Google and found Plumbing Services By Gus. Easy to find and just about five minutes from my home in downtown Dunedin I found Gus's old place. Upon arrival I was graciously greeted by Tim, who took my part and shared that I needed a new cartridge. Tim said that he had replaced a bunch of them when he was in the service side and also told me that I didn't have all of the part and that some of it was still in the valve at home. At that point I thought I was destined to fail. Tim assured me that the procedure was simple, told me how to repair the problem and replace the cartridge, sold me the new cartridge and then loaned me the tool to do it with! I got back home and was so proud of what I had done on the south side of our duplex, that I just figured that I should also check and replace the north sides' guest bathroom shower valve also. As a rule, if I replace something on one side I always check and or replace other sides also. Now the north side was a challenge. I returned the tool to Tim just before they closed on Tuesday and purchased another cartridge for the north side of my duplex. Yes, I borrowed another tool and returned to change out the other side. This time, I broke the valve and accepted my defeat. I then inserted the old stem, replaced the cotter pin and turned water back on for the evening. Promptly at eight am I returned the tool and hared my dilemma with Tim. Knowing that I was in "water over my head" I then requested a service call by a qualified technician and replacement of the faulty valve and cartridge. Tim shared that the technician would be here today between twelve and two pm. Exactly at twelve, a young man named Danny arrived in my driveway. With a great smile, a professional demeanor and courteous and respectful mannerism this young man came in and within an hour and forty five minutes he repaired and replaced my broken valve and put all the mess back together. I am EXTREMELY pleased with Plumbing Services' By Gus and share that my money was well spent, I received prompt and courteous, professional service and a product with a life time warranty. Had them over multiple times throughout the years, whether indoors or outdoors... Wonderful people! And even though I am a Florida Master General Contractor - still licensed; I AM RETIRED! I thought I had seen everything, likewise the boys from GUS too... until we had to, not once, not twice, but three times over had to unclog the old cast iron septic drain line... the Amazing things we've found that were clogged up the pipe and HOW did that ever get in there still remains a mystery. The 3rd time - we both worked together and really made sure that drain line was completely clear from one end to the other! Things we have found in the drain line: 1950s' - early 1960s' Women's Swim Cap; late 60s' to early 70s' Matchbox and Hotwheel cars, 1950s'-1960s' Era Cotton Towels (you can tell by the design); a late 1960 to early 1970 Men's (not Women's) Girdle. How they ever got in the pipeline still remains a mystery (The home was built in 1955)... But using my old (which finally died most likely from fright from seeing what was in the pipeline) light and camera... we did find out that there was a metal "Spur" that was snagging things...the usage of my old Lightning Rod (6 foot steel rod) and banging the metal spur worked! But they have repaired toilet, replaced an old original wax gasket, replaced kitchen faucet... RECOMMEND!

Guy routed out a clog, left with slow uncle to pay and let in, they upcharged two new wax rings, clog is now everywhere in house backs up and water comes out of BOTH wax rings which in 20 years used to only be bowl backup when clogged. After 1st visit, they said nothing about doing basically nothing for $200 and wouldn't credit, Dispatcher was rude after telling them issues. When I insisted they came back asthe $200 "fix" literally did nothing - They then upsold my uncle who let them in for $1500 with new toilet and rings - and house now is basically ruined a year later because they can't even install TWO wax rings correctly for $1500? FOLLOWUP: what a joke, look at their reply, it's even more weak than their scam service! I finally discovered the problem which they NEVER even looked for outside of this toxic exploitation of an uninformed elderly person ... it cost only $93 garnteed with Red Cap ... My home has suffered thousands in water damage and we've been railroaded for $2,000 from Gus's when the fix was the VERY FIRST THING the Red Cap plumber chacked, and fixed! Run far away. They had a chance to reply and only were cynical! Good riddance!

We added natural gas to our home and purchased a whole house generator and a tankless water heater. Plumbing Services by Gus handled the installation and hook up of our water heater. Chris was the initial plumber we worked with. He is amazing. He stopped by to advise us on installing the water heater inside the garage or on the outside of our townhouse. It took five months for the gas company to bring gas into our house. During that time, Chris stopped by several times to check up on our progress. When it came time for the install, Chris and Duwayne spend the whole day meticulously installing the water heater, removing the old water heater and cleaning up messes made by both the generator install and the gas company install. We cannot say enough about how much above and beyond the expected service Chris and Duwayne performed for us. We would give more than 5 stars if we could. Amazing company.

Experienced plumber been in this area over 30 years that i know of.had a main line stoppage and one of his workers came out and assessed the problem .due to fecal matter that my tenants put there by opening the sewage cap and digging a hole for it to fall into he could not access it (could but not easily) he ran a line thru roof access and cleared it out..this was a messy job and they were very professional anf checked all sinks snd toilets inside to make sure the stoppage was gone.the statement of cause and bill were delivered to me that same day.i was happy with the charge as well.very reasonable.they were recommended by the septic tank people and i can see why.. i will be using this company again..i would refer them as well..they give excellent service..

I had a great experience with Gus’s Plumbing Company from start to finish. Gus and his team were professional, honest, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything clearly, showed up when they said they would, and completed the work with excellent attention to detail. The quality of workmanship was top-notch, and the pricing was fair with no surprises. It’s hard to find contractors these days who truly care about customer service and stand behind their work, but Gus’s Plumbing definitely does. As a property management firm throughout Pinellas County, I always call Plumbing by Gus first for every leak, backup, or issue. Specifically, I ask/beg for technician, Mike. While all of the staff that I have worked with are good, I have 100% confidence that if Mike is on the job, my condos are fixed flawlessly. I do not need to micromanage the repair and he follows up with me and lets me know what he did and how bad the damage is. Mike remembers the properties and buildings and all of the quirks some of the condos were built with. He is engaging with owners and my Board members. Sending a quality vendor out, makes my company look great in the service I provide. Simply put, there just is no better than Plumbing by Gus. 1000% recommend!

Called two plumbers for an urgent request, and Gus was able to accommodate immediately. Was extremely prompt. Unfortunately totally misdiagnosed my issue. The other company came next day, as we forgot to cancel, and before stepping a foot in the house and talking to us, they had diagnosed the problem by acutely surveying the outside of the house. Same information, two totally opposite findings and recommendations. I called Gus back to understand how they could have missed the same red flags, responses put blame on an inadequate description of the problem when we called in. However, please note, company B was given same information and discovered problem without additionally talking with us.
