We highly recommend Plumbing in Pink. They responded immediately, were extremely professional, and our technician, Jason Guy, was knowledgeable of all the details needed to make repairs within the hour. We also did not expect but appreciated a Veterans discount that was an extra bonus to our experience.
Jason was awesome! Arrived on time, friendly, knowledgeable, & respectful. He got everything completed quickly & left our bathrooms as clean if not cleaner than when he got there. I will use Plumbing in Pink every time we need plumbing fixed. Thank you for being able to get us an appointment so quick!
Plumbing in pink has helped me out over the past few years to maintain my plumbing issue. They are kind and fast and always able to resolve my issue to get me running again. Over the holiday they came out and replaced the pipe in my front yard. They were very professional and efficient. I appreciate Laurie and her team for their help and hard work. Thank you! Will be using them again!
BUYER BEWARE. My experience with Plumbing in Pink has been a nightmare. At the end of a recent routine service call, employees of Plumbing in Pink ("Pink") recommended that we replace our water heater, which they said was at the end of its useful life. After an aggressive sales pitch, and upon their strong recommendation, we agreed to purchase a new "high tech" water heater manufactured by a French company, Essency, for a price of $5,486. Around 2 weeks later, after heavy rains, the standing crawl space where the water heater was installed took on water, and the water heater was destroyed. This is because the unit was installed less than 6 inches from the ground - despite the fact that the Essency website notes that the product was designed for "indoor only" installation. The unit was destroyed because all the "high tech" electrical components were located in the bottom of the unit, and since it was installed less than 6 inches above the ground in the crawl space, it did not take much water to damage the electrical components. We called Pink the next day, and an employee came out, inspected the unit, declared it a total loss, and said I should call our homeowner's insurance company. When I challenged that this was a homeowner's insurance problem, he said I should speak with the owner. I called the company the next day, and on 2 subsequent occasions, and was told each time that I would hear from the owner. When I explained each time that this was not a homeowner's insurance problem - Pink sold us the wrong water heater and then installed it in the wrong place - I was told I would hear from the owner. I did not hear from the owner, after 3 calls and an email, so I asked my lawyer to write a letter to Pink, demanding a full refund and a removal of the destroyed unit. To date, I have heard nothing. In hindsight, it is clear that Pink used a high pressure sales pitch to "upsell" a retired couple on a very expensive water heater that was the wrong unit for them, and then installed it in the wrong place. If this is the kind of service you are looking for from a plumber, you are in the right place.

Worst service call I’ve ever had. I called and asked if they could find the specific source of a sewer gas leak I couldn’t pinpoint. They said yes, it’s a $69 trip/diagnostic fee. Great. The expectation is that I will know the source of the gas leak, and I or they can fix it. Guy gets out here, doesn’t bring any equipment or even look in the vents on the roof. Can’t give me a solid answer. I ask if they can do a smoke test, so he says hold on, whips out his phone and starts watching a YouTube tutorial on how to do a smoke test. I ask how much for him to do it, he says $300. I told him no thanks, as I just watched him YouTube the whole thing. I call to discuss payment, because he didn’t find the source and was watching YouTube plumbing tutorials at my house, so they were kind enough to drop the charge. I said I respect them for that and I’d call them back to get them to fix the problem once I found it. BUT THEN, He gets back to HQ, and unknowingly butt dials my voicemail by accident… and I hear him and the woman there just talking shit and lying to each other about what happened while calling me names. I got the whole conversation. He’s saying shit that didn’t happen. She’s saying shit that wasn’t said, they’re talking shit about me. So then I get a text asking me to send this review, so here I am. I’ll paste a photo of the response when she realized I heard everything they said. They know they’re in the wrong regardless of whatever they try to spin here. You can’t walk that BS back. I would never recommend this company to anyone. It was the wildest, most unprofessional experience I’ve had.
You will not find better plumbing services anywhere else in the Greenville area. This review comes from having used their services on two separate, unrelated occasions. The first was to install a food disposal unit. They helped me pick the correct unit and had it all installed on the same day. I was delighted with the work done and the price point. My next experience is the real reason for this review. I experienced a clog in my kitchen sink on Christmas day. Not ideal. I did all the usual, responsible homeowner things to try and ease it but to no avail. The next morning I called Rusty at PiP and they had someone out to me that afternoon. After a few hours of trying several things, they decided to use some different equipment the next day. So the next day came and unfortunately we were still having the same problem and we were looking at potentially re-piping my kitchen. As I am currently moving from my home, this is not something I want to do so they worked for hours on alternative solutions. Most other companies would have just given up. These guys did everything they could and we eventually managed to get things resolved at a fraction of what it could have cost me. They were so very understanding and explained everything clearly. I really felt like they cared about my situation. 1000/10 would use again and I highly recommend them to all of my friends!
Wow. What a turn around. My toilet had come loose again so I called what I thought was a great company. Rusty came out and they charged me $750 to replace the flange. I realize prices have gone up since 2017 when I last used them but I had no idea they would triple in 6 short years. And I wondered why I had to have the flange replaced again in just 6 years. After Rusty left, I noticed my toilet was rocking back to forth now instead of side to side. I called and they sent out another technician. When he left, there were shims sticking out from the base, there was wax EVERYWHERE, even on my front door knobs, I called for a third time and this time they sent someone who seemed to know what he were doing. He fixed everything and made it look nice and neat, however, there is now a large gap between the toilet and the floor, where there wasn't before. Laurie was nice enough to give me a $200 refund. I told her that I think a $200 refund was no longer enough since I had to have 2 people come out to correct the original job. That's having to stay home and be available 2 extra days. It's amazing how I so quickly went from valued customer to a seemingly pain in their neck. I have called and emailed and no one has gotten back to me. I am so disappointed in this company. I will not be using them again and I don't recommend you do either. Christy K Inman, SC
I had to take off one star because of the issues I had initially making contact with them to get an appointment setup. I first submitted something through the website and no one contacted me back. Then I called and spoke with their answering service several days later and still no one called me back. Finally on the third try to schedule something I was able to get someone out that same day. The technician who came out was respectful, knowledgeable and honest with me. He did a full analysis and presented me with a recommendation to replace 3 separate components of my water heater. I then asked him which he felt was the most likely cause and asked to start there to help manage my costs. They agreed and also gave 10% off using a coupon from the website. The cost was quite reasonable and they came back a couple days later to complete the repair. Communication was excellent beyond the initial issues to schedule an appointment. The first fix also seems to have solved my problem so this avoided me having to spend more money. They also informed me about a free HVAC inspection that I may take them up on before AC season gets in full swing. Overall a good experience, just need to get past the issues with initial contact.
Working with Plumbing in Pink was nothing short of a nightmare. A two week project took over six weeks and required hiring another company to finish job and make repairs caused by Plumbing in Pink. Workers made a hole in first floor ceiling, washed mortar down shower drain causing pipes to crack, over sprayed paint on furniture, floor, pictures, light fixtures and rabbit cages. Used tile saws inside master bathroom with no barrier for protection from dust. Damaged tv and computer printer as result. Dust permeated entire bedroom and air system. Shower floor did not match. Bathroom floor did not match. Installed a shower door that was much too short. Cut the edge off of a free standing vanity "to make it fit". Did not clean up on a daily basis leaving nails, shop vac, trash, and supplies on bedroom floor for extended periods of time. Evidence of workers drinking on the job. Buyer beware! Dig deep and know what/who you are hiring! They are not licensed for anything except plumbing. Could not provide proof that workers were legal to be doing work. Very overpriced!
After the deep freeze weekend we had here, I called Plumbing In Pink, and although they were super busy because everyone had frozen and busted pipes that weekend , I was able to get on the schedule for a repair. I had a major leak and pipe burst at my well, resulting in no water to the house. They were on time and were able to fix the leak and restore water to the house within the same visit. After having sediment settle in my lines because of the original pipe bursting, they were able to get me back on the schedule and came out to finish the sediment removal within minutes. During this time, which also happened to fall on Christmas weekend, other plumbing companies were price gouging and scheduling 4+ days out. Plumbing In pink offered me a fair price and came on the second visit to finish the follow-up service at no additional cost. I would highly recommend this professional company, and plan to use them again in the future. Update: water heater install-prompt and professional service!
This is the second time we've depended on Pluming in Pink. Patrick handled a plumbing job quickly, but then he took the time to check out our whole plumbing system for adequate pressure, problems, and so on. It was all OK and he didn't make anything up or use scare tactics to get more business. He shared some info and advice we didn't know about maintaining our tank-less water heater, which we greatly appreciate. He clearly cares about what he's doing. Having been a contractor, I can tell this company is organized. They don't delay. They communicate well and the rates are very, very reasonable. They take the long-term approach of reliability and repeat business rather than a money-grab (we had that experience with another plumbing company when we moved to the area). I'm a pretty skeptical person, but I highly, highly recommend these folks, especially if you have a house like ours with a few years on it.
Originally, the PIP team was going to install a tankless water heater and switch out an existing bathtub to make the shower ADA compliant for my 87 year old father. We decided to add a few other changes, such new faucets, etc. While switching out the kitchen faucet, Jason and team discovered the real reason for a foundation issue (that was being repaired) that was not noted on a home inspection approximately 1 month ago. The team also went above and beyond and completed a few additional repairs that needed to be done, and never hesitated to show me the why and how. Excellent workmanship by Greg, Jason, Nolan and Mason! From start to finish, PIP communicated timely, professionally, and was always ready to answer any questions or concerns. We could not be happier for a job well done, and you have earned a lifelong customer.
Highly recommend Plumbing In Pink to anyone in the Greenville area looking for a quality service company. Called them on a Wednesday morning with no hot water in our new house and the owner Rusty was out within 2 hours to diagnose, inform and offer multiple solutions for the problem. Wes & Jayden came out to install our new water heater and were also super informative about everything involved in the process. Even after they left, we had an issue in our showers with a anti-scald valve preventing hot water from flowing to the showers - they returned within an hour and fixed the issue promptly. All in all, this team is a fantastic value for the service and it is beyond what we expected. Couldn't be happier with this company! Info: We ended up going with a tankless 2 bathroom Rinnai system for only $3,200 including labor.
Expanding our living space we decided we needed to add an additional bathroom. This required all new plumbing lines run from outside and tied into septic. After several opinions and quotes (7) I decided on Plumbers in Pink. Our decision was not based solely on price as much as it was the gut feeling they KNOW what they are doing. The confidence that Rusty had with our project put me at ease all while others scratched their heads and had doubts. They arrived at exactly the time scheduled. They were professional, friendly and informative. They were more than willing to answer any questions I had. They work clean, tidy and most of all efficiently. I could not be any more pleased. I have since hired them for another project we need to have done. Highly recommend!!!
