I had a continuous leak in a pipe attached to a newly replaced pressure tank. I called the 1-800 number, since I am in Harford County. The young lady took the information from me, and advised that someone would get back with me. I did receive a call back, not too long after my initial call. The gentleman asked what the issues was, then told me by the time he would arrive to my home, the rate changes over to double time after 9:00pm. Keep in mind, he called after 7:00pm, and if he was in Abingdon, he would only be 20 minutes away. He was very focused on the rates, asking if I was willing to pay that out. I had a bad feeling about it, and decided to cancel the request. I had another plumber come out the next day, and was able to repair the issue and replace a control box, well under $360, and yes parts included. My advice, call another company, because this one that advertises they have great rates, was the most expensive I have ever encountered. The gentleman did not sound very friendly either.

Called in an emergency replacement of our water heater on a Saturday. Heard from them 4 hours later, told us it couldn't be replaced until Sunday but he would pass on our info. Called on Sunday to find status, was told the info didn't get passed on and the water heater couldn't be replaced anyway until normal business hours. Poor communication with us. Poor internal communication. We had to reach out several times just to keep informed.

About 4 months ago I left an excellent review about Plumb Crazy. I have used them for several years and have spent a few thousand dollars but in late October I had an issue with a toilet. I had a water bill of over $600 and I discovered one toilet was leaking but you couldn't hear it. Someone came out and said it was the float valve and flapper causing the problem. So he replaced them and charged me $235. I am on a fixed income so any repair is costly to me. About a week or two later I thought I heard water running in the toilet and I literally put my head against the tank to hear it. I called and someone came out and said oh it was something left from old the flapper that he didn't see preventing it from sealing properly so he cleaned it out at no charge. Again within a week or two I had to lean against the toilet to hear water. This time the guy said oh its a bad flapper and replaced it again. He called his boss who then said if this doesn't work I would need to either replace the flush valve assembly which would cost $130 more or replace the entire toilet for $469. If I had done both these fixes now my total cost would have been $834. I am extremely disappointed with this company. I did call to complain but I was told the boss will call me back. Two days later no call back so I had to call Plumb Crazy and asked to speak to the owner or the lady who handled complaints. I was told neither one are in and wouldn't be there for several days. I was then connected to the first boss I had talked to the day before and all he said was they have to make money too. I reminded him I had just had over a $600 water bill which was more than 3 times the normal. I was then told they never know what the problem is with toilets so they just start replacing parts then if need be offer replacement. I looked online at toilets and they run about $200 to about $300 and some can run higher. When I said this to the boss all he could really say was they have to lift the toilet numerous times as well as the old one and everything cost money. So I spent $235 for absolutely nothing! Great way to treat your customers! A very disgruntled customer, Robyn Kalwa The response below from Plumb Crazy is not the true facts. There are only three working parts inside a toilet tank. After replacing two parts that didn't fix the problem they then wanted another $139 to replace the third part and/or another $400 to replace the entire toilet. It was a guessing game? What a joke!

Honest plumbers. ----- I recently installed a new bathroom faucet myself, and to my surprise after the install, the cold water line had a slow leak. I assumed it was a faulty cold water line shut off valve like I had in a different bathroom the year prior. I called Plumb Crazy. Two plumbers named "Manny and Will #2" (as written on receipt) came out at the scheduled appointment time. The two plumbers were at my residence about 20 minutes. They listened carefully to everything that happened prior. They told me that the issue was a faulty cartridge in the new faucet NOT a faulty valve shut off. This never occurred to me as I could not wrap my head around a brand new faucet having a faulty part. They explained the science until I understood and got past my "assumption" thinking. Replacing a cartridge is easy, so I decided to do it myself. Although Plumb Crazy did not complete any work, I was very grateful for their knowledge and honesty. They could have easily replaced the valve shut off and charged me an arm and a leg for something that did not need to be replaced. They did NOT. I thanked them for their professionalism. Manny and Will #2 showed me that Plumb Crazy has knowledgeable and HONEST plumbers who don't provide un-necessary services just to make a quick buck. I will be using Plumb Crazy for future plumbing issues. Very impressed with this company's professionalism and honesty.

Quick shout out to #PlumbCrazy for fixing me up over the long weekend. Working in real estate I come across a lot of service companies. PlumbCrazy is the only plumbing company I call. My home was built in the 80s and constantly needs plumbing updates. They have installed for me a new well pump, multiple hose bibs, faucets…you name it they have fixed it in my house. I called at 8 am Monday and they promised to get to me buy 2 pm as I had no water. They prioritized me and were there by 10:30 am the same day. Diagnosed the problem quickly and figured we had to dig out well cap down about 5 feet to access the part. They fixed me up the same day and had machinery there within the hour. It was also the first time in a long while where is saw the work that went in and was shocked by how affordable the repair was. When I saw that machinery digging I thought I was in big trouble with a huge bill coming my way. I can’t say enough great things about them over the 10 years I have been calling on them for service. Thanks to the PlumbCrazy team!

PlumbCrazy Plumbing delivered remarkable service from start to finish. From the moment Katie called to let me know they had an earlier opening, the experience was smooth, thoughtful, and customer-focused. When Jason arrived to complete the work, his professionalism, knowledge, and personable demeanor truly stood out. For the price I paid, the level of service far surpassed the cost. It’s clear this company still values its customers, takes pride in the work they do, and makes sure the job is done right the first time. As a military retiree, it’s rare to come across a company that makes me think, “I wouldn’t mind joining their team.” That’s how impressive their service was. Thank you, PlumbCrazy, for an exceptional experience and a job well done. I’d say “until next time,” but I’m hoping not to have any more plumbing issues anytime soon..... LOL. Still, if anything comes up, you’ll be the first I call, and the first I refer to others.

Although I rent a house in Bel Air and the owner pays some of the maintenance bills, I was fortunate the Property Manager contacted PlumbCrazy, who sent Benny to fix some ongoing problems with a running toilet and drainage problems in a bathtub. He went above and beyond what I had requested by replacing the toilet handle, inner lever and flapper. He also snaked both the shower and bathtub drains since Draino hadn't worked, then replaced the tub spout because I had trouble pulling the shower head lever on. When I mentioned I had no clue if the sump pump worked (I moved here after 50 years in Florida, and we don't have basements), he went down to check it out and said it's working. He was even nice enough to bring an Amazon package on the front porch inside. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and polite. I hope I won't need a plumber any time soon, but I would be happy to have him back if so!

Perry is the best! I called PlumbCrazy after a pipe burst in my laundry room during the really cold days. Perry was able to repair the pipe completely. The next day, our pipes froze, again. It frozen in a different part of the house that was poorly constructed by someone before us. It’s a weird closet that’s only about a foot and a half wide, only accessible from the outside of our house. He and his apprentice cleared our main out from under the thick ice and snow in 5 mins, turned the water off, and got to thawing. He insulated the pipes, added heat tape, and sealed off the spots where the cold wind was getting in that area. Perry tended to our home like it was his own and we really appreciated that. It was breath of fresh air compared to so many other experiences we’ve had with service people recently. Our pipes have not frozen again and we are so thankful!!

Plumb Crazy has on at least two occasions done work in my condominium community and never clearly communicated with the management company that they were going to shut off water for the entire building. That communication would have allowed the management company to give other owners in the building proper notification that the water would be shut off. Additionally, the plumber on site made several off handed comments when I asked him about what he was doing and how long the water would be turned off. At that time he claimed the work would be completed in 1 hour, however it was over 5 hours later that the water was turned back on. When I called Plumb Crazy's office the owner refused to address my concerns. Based on my experience I would not recommend using Plumb Crazy.

My husband and I had some water line issues with our house in Harford County that ultimately turned into the line leaking into the basement. A neighbor referred us to PlumbCrazy and we could not be happier with their work. They showed up on time or early to every appointment we made with them, they managed to work us into their schedule quickly, and all the workers we encountered were very friendly and knowledgeable. You also can't beat the work they do for the price they offer--very reasonable! And they're very careful to take care of your property like wearing booties inside, cleaning up after themselves, etc. My only complaint is that they don't do work in Baltimore City because I would love to use them for our house there as well! Highly recommend these guys!

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. PlumbCrazy came out to fix a leaking garbage disposal for us - at their recommendation, we also paid for them to reconfigure the pipes under the sink as they said the current configuration was not ideal and could cause issues. Since that visit, our sink has clogged no less than a dozen times but luckily we were able to unclog ourselves - until today. We just had another plumber come fix and he explained why we've been having our issues. There was no vent pipe installed and therefore our sink is consistently being air starved and the drainage backing up. We had no issues prior to PlumbCrazy 'fixing' our pipe configuration and now multiple issues and multiple plumbers tell us that the job PlumbCrazy did was terrible.

Adding another review. Came home to basement bathroom backing up at 1130 last night 11/8/2025. Called around 1145 and received a call back in less than 5 minutes. Spoke with Rodney on the phone said he would be about 45 mins and was at the door in 30. He checked things out told what was going on showed me what pricing would be up front and got to work. He had everything done in about 1.5 hours. Rodney was very thorough with the work, very clean with it all and very professional. Will continue to use PlumbCrazy for all of our plumbing needs. Was a pleasure to have Perry come out. He was very informative of what was going on and what the issues were. I will be using Plumb Crazy for all plumbing working going forward. 5/12/22
