We used plumb Texan to help us find a possible water leak. He was very kind and professional. We will definitely use him again.
Had a great experience! My water heater was leaking, and Musa and Dustin were super friendly and helpful and got it switched out the same day, even though it was Christmas Eve.
Musa arrived to provide an estimate on a valve replacement. He quickly diagnosed the fix, provided an estimate, including alternatives. Even before we hired him for the job, he fixed another small unrelated issue I questioned him about free of charge. His estimate was fair and the fact that he helped with something unrelated just to be kind is something you don’t see these days. I’m thrilled with our initial interaction and will be hiring him for this job and future work.
Had a toilet leaking water into my bowl. Called and asked for a quote, the lady said there is no minimum charge, guys showed by three hours late and charged me 160$, telling me 120$ is minimum per job. I do not mind paying the money, but not telling upfront is what makes me feel ripped. They come recommended, so I am going to tell my friends about this.
Sir, We received your $2,200 bill today for destroying our sink drain. We have (testimony soon to be an affidavit) from master a plumber that the sink drain should have lasted another 25 years. It was not beyond life expectancy. We were a customer for over ten years because of Cortez; we left because of your lack of integrity. Every word was truthful, as you know; there are six witnesses to what happened. 1) Your employee spent over 25 minutes slamming his snake into the side of the pipe. From the distance of his run he KNEW he had not reached the Y. We had to caution him about his excessive violence he was using clearing the drain. This is a drain your company had cleaned repeatedly. It was not stopped up - it just drained slow. 2) He never alerted anyone as to the flood. Your employee letting the water free flow washed out the grout from tile floor, flooded our bedroom and so much water was running it flowed out of house and down back slab. Never once did he alert us, make us aware of a problem, give us a chance to put towels down to stop flood. He just let it run. 3) Your employee lied telling us he never turned on the water. 4) Your employee lied saying our water line broke in the slab, and there isn't even a water line in that area of the house. 5) Your workers removed and stole the pipe before it could be inspected and even though we have requested the pipe back three times you refused to return it. 6) Various items were stolen and damaged in our house during this disaster. In all fairness probably not by Plumb Quick, but rather the remediation company you hired. 7) Gus your master plumber represented to us that you would come over and "make things right" since we were such good long time customers. I made it clear if there was going to be any charge we didn't want Plumb Quick to do it. All you wanted is to hide the evidence of your screw up. Well played - you completely fooled me. 8) You walked the job almost as soon as you got the pipe, why didn't you tell me if you felt it was a problem with our plumbing you would charge us anyway, at the beginning. 9) Your bill is dishonest. You charged us for the drain clean - more than was quoted. Your first worker didn't clear anything. Cortez cleared the drain clean, yet you charged us for his time as well for 8 hours. He was the one who cleared the clog. This is double billing. Not a bit surprising given how you handled this whole matter. 10) On at least four occasions I asked Cortez if there was going to be a charge and he told us "he was told no - ya'll just wanted to make things right". 11) Jason, can you post a photo of my signed authorization for the work you did and bid? No you can't - you were never authorized to do this work under this circumstance - nor did you give me a bid. In conclusion sir, you are under the mistaken impression if you hide the evidence and your insurance denies the claim we never made that we have no recourse to the legal system. You could not be more wrong. The Texas Constitution gives us the constitutional right to sue your company. I have tried to negotiate with you guys in good faith and you have been dishonorable at every turn. I have always ask you for only two things - the name of your business attorney and the phone number to the State board of plumbing. You have still refused to give either. An honest craftsman need not fear the legal system - your actions reek of dishonest practices. I cannot imagine how you are going to get up in front of a jury and explain to them that it is a "best industry practice" - to let water free flow through a bathroom and bedroom and not tell the homeowners. I cannot imagine you actually explaining why your employee lying about the source of the water and even the fact the water was on is going to be defensible.
This business was recommended by a trusted friend. However that doesn't mean the business would have employees who know they shape the perception and company brand. I called to inquire about setting up an inspection and possible repair. The initial conversation with employee "Jason" was friendly and comfortable. The appointment was for a couple of days later and that under no circumstances were they to enter the residence of my client without my presence or my assistant. Well the day of the appointment I received a call 2hours before the scheduled time and told the workers that is not acceptable. So at 3pm they arrived at my clients house and my assistant observed their work. Shortly after 1 hour they left. My assistant and client said that the pipe was still leaking and there was a gaping hole in the wall left unattended. At 530pm I went to observe the work that was done. What I saw was shocking. The pipe was still leaking and the unsightly hole in the wall that was not indemnification. Since it was after hours I would call first thing in the morning. The next morning I called ro inform "Jason" that the job was not done. What i was met with was a rude, disrespectful, condescending individual who constantly interrupted and tried to talk over me. He said the work was done. I told no it was not completed. I had video footage and photos as evidence to counter his hostile denials. He was not at the residence and I told him that if his workers did not to complete this job I would hang up immediately and contact my colleagues at KVUE news station 7 on your side to report a business that gouged my client a elderly disabled wheelchair bound woman who is 100 years old. Charged her $220.00 for no services rendered. He continued to talk over me and it was obvious that his lack of customer service or realizing that this is customer who is well connected in this community. How would it look media wise that his company would dupe and steal from a 100 year old disabled citizen and the hostile and dismissive treatment from this poor representative of any established business. Needless to say one of contacts got involved and finally the repair was done. But make no mistake because of the utter rudeness and lack of manners we encountered we will won't ever use this business or say a kind word about them. Mr. Smart azz you are the face and brand of your company and what you showed is who you are and we will always remember the right side of your rude, argumentative, disrespectful and obnoxious primitive behavior.
I called late on a Saturday night, saying I had a leak in my yard, had located it and exposed it, but needed someone to come out and repair it because I didn't trust myself to fix the leak permanently. Call back from their on-call guy, Cortez, who warned me that if he came over then, there was a min $250 callout, then $250/hr; but he could come on Sunday during office hours for half the price - he'd call me at 9am. I went for the latter, turned the water back on so people in the house could shower, and slept the sleep of the bone-tired ditch-digger. 6:30am my wife's alarm went off: I slept through it. 9am, he phoned, twice: I slept through it. 9:15, he was at my door, ringing the bell: I slept through it. Thankfully, my wife didn't, and kicked me out the bed to answer the door. Outside, there was a small lake above my leak, so the plumber kindly offered to come back in a couple hours. I was grateful, because it took me two hours to pump all the water out, and get the hole a decent size, ready for him. So if I'd been doing that while he was here, that'd have been $250 on its own. He got back, and in a snap had doubled the size of the hole I'd painstakingly dug over the last day as if it was nothing. Rather than replace the broken plastic link with the same thing, he instead put a stretch of flexible tube connected by two (far beefier, metal) links, so that if the house shifted again, the joint wouldn't shatter again. This, and his general expertise and good advice, really drove home to me that I'd made the right call in not trusting myself with this job. I wouldn't have been able to fix it even a fraction so well, and I would never have felt confident that I'd fixed the leak. With the significantly better replacement fitted by Plumb-Quick, I'm confident that I won't be digging up the yard for years to come, now. An hour and a half, plus parts and tax, was still less than the min callout for the night before. Really impressed with the quality and professionalism: and I will definitely ask for Cortez by name for my next plumbing disaster.
This company and everyone I interacted with here are top notch. They will be my go to plumbers whenever I need any work done, and I will gladly refer them to everyone I know as well. You can tell they are different as soon as they the answer the phone. I had a hot water heater line leaking when I got home last Thursday night. I called, and Dustin answered even though he was on his way home from his last job. He said someone would call me first thing Friday to schedule a time to come out. Friday morning, Kortez called bright and early and they were able to come out to swap out the supply lines to the hot water heater. If the story ended there, I'd still be extremely satisfied for their professionalism, courteousness, promptness, and fair pricing. However, the cold water line started dripping a little after they left. After some troubleshooting and proactive follow up calls from Kortez, it was determined the best bet would be to replace the line in case there was a manufacturer defect keeping it from sealing properly. Dustin came out to replace the line, and was just as cheerful, professional, and courteous as the first time. He was finished in just a few minutes and now everything works perfectly. There are a lot of bad plumbers out there, I think anyone who has ever had to call a plumber knows that. If you need a plumber and are reading this, stop your search and give Plumb-Quick a call. If you need more proof, read the other reviews here and on the web. But you shouldn't need more proof.
Last week I noticed my side yard was unnecessarily wet near the sewer clean-out, this combined with my toilets not flushing with their normal gusto, lead me to the conclusion I probably had a blocked line. I have used Plumb-Quick a few times in the past for a variety of plumbing related troubles and have always been satisfied, so I gave them a call. I spoke to Jason and described my issue, he diagnosed the problem as a blocked sewer line. He said they would use an auger to clear the line and it would cost $139.00. I asked how much the labor would be, and he said it's included! I was impressed, I had called one other plumbing company and the cost for the auger and labor was closer to $265.00 (not bad, but Plumb-Quick's price was much better). Jason said they could be at my house within a couple of hours, however since I had to leave for work, we scheduled the service for the next day. The following morning, Kortez arrived to tackle the problem. Kortez, had been to my home previously to address a water softener catastrophe (which was handled flawlessly by the way), so I was happy to see him again. He got right to work. Within an hour he had the line cleared and the toilets flushing smoothly. The folks at Plumb-Quick, Inc. are professional, courteous and effecient. Their prices are exceptional and they make me feel like "my plumbing issue" is the most important one on their schedule. I highly recommend Plumb-Quick, Inc. They remain my 'go to' plumbing company.
If I could give Plumb Quick and extra star, I would. We had a number of plumbing issues that needed to be addressed after we purchased our "new" 45 year old home, and although some the work should have been simple, it turned out not to be. The guys at Plumb Quick made sure it all got done, and got done right, regardless of how many visits were needed. We were in the process of scheduling the preemptive installation of a new electric hot water heater when the old one suddenly stopped working. Jason helped us quickly coordinate with an electrician to get the wiring updated and then Dustin and Cortez delt with the difficult removal of the old unit, and got the new one installed. Dustin spent quite a bit of time researching and sourcing parts for an unusual shower fixture, and then made the difficult repair. We need a water pressure regulator valve installed at the curb, and Musa was able to do the excavation work without damaging the tree roots adjacent to the plumbing. They also completed several other more routine repairs. Jason, the owner, is super helpful and professional, as are the three plumbers who worked here over course of a few weeks, Dustin, Musa, and Cortez. The pricing was very fair and very reasonable for the amount of work done. They have a 5 star rating here for a good reason, they are just that good.
We discovered our HWH wasn't working on a Saturday night. First thing Sunday, I called 4 or 5 plumbers and only received a call back from Plumb-Quick. They took down my information and said someone would call me within the hour. 10 minutes later, I received a call from Cortez. I explained to him what was going on and that there seemed to be a leak from the top of the unit that was progressively worsening. I, not being well versed in HWH's, was concerned that the pan was going to overflow and cause damage to the surrounding structure. Cortez explained the procedure for shutting down the HWH over the phone in hopes it would stop the leak. It did. He easily could have profited from a Sunday OT service call ($225 minimum), but instead chose to explain to me what was a simple procedure and save me the $$$. He also said he would have the office call me first thing Monday AM and get me on the schedule ASAP. Well, first thing Monday AM, Plumb-Quick called and said Cortez was on his way. 3 hours later, I have a new HWH and they hauled the old one away. Their work was clean, the price was fair, and everything looks great. I've found my go-to plumber and from now on it will only take one call to get a job done. Really impressed with this company and their personnel. I highly recommend you give these guys a call.
I Had my gas water heater go out on me this week. I called a local big-name plumbing service in my area on Thurs and they said they couldn't get anyone out to me until Mon. I called Plumb Quick on Fri and spoke to Jay and he said he could get someone out to me within a few hours! Kortez came to the rescue. I mentioned to him the low water pressure I was also having during the week and diagnosed it as my water-softener having gone out - at the same time as the gas heater! A strange coincidence. Kortez explained everything that needed to be done and what type of new water heater I was getting (my old one was 17 years old) and it's features. He explained all the pricing and then got to work. He did a beautiful job on the new water heater. He cleaned up his work mess and it looked as if he was never even here - besides the shiny new water heater in the garage! I got a really great deal on the parts, tank and labor, got the water softener bypassed for now so I can get full water pressure again, and was told to call right away if any problems came up. I HIGHLY recommend this company. I didn't have to wait a few extra days - I got same day service with no extra fees. Jay was very friendly and nice on the phone. Kortez was very friendly, professional and a stand-up guy. Call them!!
a HUGE shout out to Gustabo Ramirez and his guys. If it were possible to pick 10 stars, I would! Literally, on the day of closing on the sale of my house, I got a call from my realtor that the buyers' realtor was doing a final walk through before closing at 12:00pm. There was a water leak under the sink in the 2nd floor bathroom. I called Plumb-Quick and spoke with Mr. Rameriz, explained the situation, and he told me he could have a plumber at my house in about an hour. Let's see a show of hands ... who out there has had a GREAT experience with a plumber, or any construction trade for that matter, in an emergency situation? what, no hands? read on! Sure enough, I got a call about 30 minutes later from Dustin, saying he was on his way. 25 minutes later, Dustin arrived with an apprentice, Jacob. Both Dustin and Jacob were FANTASTICO!!! The leak was fixed in about 15 minutes. I have a company in a different industry that involves customer service. I would hire Dustin and Jacob in a heartbeat. As the "face" of Plumb-Quick, they do the company proud! And, the best news, what was a potential disaster at 12:00pm resulted in a closing at 4:00pm. The house is sold! What else can I say? Oh yeah, if you need a plumber, give Plumb-Quick a call ...
Well, our old water heater (about 25 years old) went to its grave on Christmas Eve. Great! It was bitterly cold, and we were very uncomfortable. Our landlord was finally able to get a hold of a company that would come out to look at what we had. So Plumb-Quick came to the rescue yesterday. We were told by Cortez that it could be a few days before they got approval and order the new heater. I got a call from Jason only a few hours later, and he told me they would be out the very next morning. Now, I don't know how or why we just got such VIP treatment, but we really do appreciate the service. Cortez showed up this morning and Dustin came shortly after with the parts. These guys were awesome! They were so polite and professional too! I ran some errands this morning and when I got home, they were standing outside by their vehicles. I asked them if I could buy them pizza for lunch, but they thanked me and said they had to go. If we ever have any plumbing issues in the future, we will definitely be calling Plumb-Quick! We highly recommend this little company, based out of Round Rock. We have never received this kind of great service before, wherever we have lived. Please consider using this company before calling any other.
I called plumb quick on June 29th to fix a leak in my garage. They had said they needed a hole dug on the exterior wall to see if they can reach and will come back Monday July 2nd. So my husband dug the hole and they came back out Monday and said they need to drill into our foundation, but that they want to contract out the work to drill the foundation. I was told they would contact me with a date and time to get the job started (by this time I had been without water 4 days). The I gave a few days because of the holiday. July 5th I had still not heard from them I called and they said they gave the contractor my name and number and that he should have contacted me by now. He said he will text the contractor again... At this point I knew they were not going to be able to do the job. I contacted a different plumber who came out and fixed the leak in 3 hours without drilling into my foundation. I would not recommend plumb quick because of the lack of communication and not being able to fix the leak. It has now been 2 weeks and I have not heard a word from plumb quick. Good luck ...
