Emergency Response
Fast emergency response documented: technician arrived next morning for main line clog
What To Watch Out For
Deceptive pricing structure: $89 diagnostic fee only covers 'walking through the door'; actual inspection jumped to $349, with technician then pushing unnecessary $1,000 sensor replacement that a second opinion revealed was unnecessary cleaning
Poor communication and scheduling coordination: used third-party call service that couldn't modify schedules, leading to confusion; customer took time off twice with no-shows
Unresponsive management: customer reported calling management multiple times to resolve issues and discuss options but never received promised callbacks
Incomplete installations and unclear expectations: customer uncertain about work performed, unable to access installed filter, unclear whether water line replacement should have been included in quoted work

The technician Stuart was very professional, as well as highly skilled in the field of HVAC. Stuart explained the procedure that needed to be done and took the time to explain what happened and what he did so it would shut-off if this ever happens again. Thank you Pink Flamingo for sending us such a highly skilled employee! The Agelink's
I called Pink Flamingo Plumbing to look at my water heater. Jared was the technician that came. He told me that an electrician would need to replace the control box i believe it was and that could be more expensive than a new water heater. He asked how old my house was and I told him it was built in ‘53. He looked at the pipes connected to the water heater and asked if he could look at the rest because he had a bad feeling. I told him sure and he showed me the extent of damage my pipes were in. He told me they were falling apart and for safety he recommended I replaced them as well. He warned me if I did, the mainline most likely needed it as well. My pipes were literally crumbling which is why i had so much sediment from my kitchen faucet and why it was always getting clogged. I told him he might want to see my tub too as a friend told me I needed to get it replaced because it was leaking. Jared got my family a really good deal for tub, all pipes, mainline and new water heater. He even contacted Dryworks to check my subfloor under the tub to make sure there wasn't any growing dry rot. He and his coworkers worked really hard and did a fantastic job! I am super pleased that I have water pressure and hot water that doesn’t take five minutes to heat up now!
I had a clog in my main line that my gutter drains into. I called Pink Flamingo and JT arrived the following morning. JT was super knowledgeable and helpful. He ran a snake down the main line which cleared the debris. Now it drains fine. Super fast and more than a fair deal.
I called Pink Flamingo Plumbing because they quoted me a reasonable $89 diagnostic fee over the phone to come out and check my tankless water heater. However, when the technician arrived, I was told that the $89 only covered walking through the door. If I actually wanted him to open the water heater panel to diagnose it, the fee immediately jumped to $349. Hidden pricing structures like this should be disclosed completely upfront. To make matters worse, once the panel was off, the technician identified that the flame sensors had common white mineral buildup on them. Instead of performing a standard cleaning to remove the crust, he refused to clean them and insisted I had to pay a separate $1,000 to replace the sensors. He offered to waive off the $349 inspection fee if I went ahead with the replacement. However, he didn’t provide a breakdown of parts and labor costs. I called a second plumbing company. The second plumber confirmed the original sensors were perfectly fine and easily cleaned them with emery paper as well as performing maintenance cleaning for $349. Even if the technician from Pink Flamingo would have just cleaned the sensors for $349, I would have happily rated them 5 stars. 2 stars is for arriving on time as promised and inspecting the sensors.
Had a water heater installed, but the overall experience was frustrating due to repeated communication and scheduling issues. Initially, there was confusion around the install date caused by a third-party phone service they use. From a customer’s perspective, it was not clear I was speaking to a call service rather than someone directly at the company. That service gave the impression the install date had been changed, when in reality they could not actually modify the schedule. As a result, the install day came and went with no one showing up. On the company’s originally scheduled install day, the same thing happened again. I had taken the afternoon off (window was noon–4pm), and after waiting all day, I received a call after 5pm saying they wouldn’t make it and would come “sometime” the next day—which was a Saturday. That meant yet another day spent waiting at home. They did eventually show up and complete the installation, which was mostly acceptable overall. See picture, but I may end up re-doing the water lines myself as I can't remove the filter (black in the photo), and the water lines just seem old and maybe should have been replaced during install, though I am not sure as I am not a plumber. Additionally, there was confusion around parts and haul-away that were clearly included in the quote I had already signed and paid for. The quote was essentially for a full water heater installation, and as a customer I would not reasonably be expected to provide adapters or connections myself. I can understand the plumber may not have had access to all the paperwork, but it added to the overall disorganization. I called management a few times to try to resolve some of these issues and discuss additional service they had identified with a possible manager discount. Both times I was told I would receive a call back, which never happened. The takeaway for me: they seem very busy, and while the work eventually gets done, communication and scheduling are unreliable. If your time is flexible, it may work out—but if you need clear coordination and follow-through, be prepared for delays.
