Great company. These guys will do the job right and stand behind their work!
Very friendly, clean, fast, and accessible. I strongly recommend them.
Great guys. Father and son duo came out and had them unclog my drain. Cost a $175 which is reasonable for the area. They were thorough, explained what they did and how to prevent any future clogs. Will use them again if I need a plumber.
I TALK TO SOMEONE FROM YOUR COMPANY UNLESS IT WAS YOU ON THE PHONE AND YOUR PRICES TO FIX AIR VENT PIPE THAT YOU QUOTED ME WAS OUTRAGES AND SKY HIGH! THAT IS WHY YOU DID NOT WORK FOR ME AND YOU NEVER SHALL!
Terrible service. Huge waste of time. I called for service, Mr Malozi asked me some questions and said he would call back that day. After I didn't hear from him, I called back the next day. Mr Malozi then asked me to text him pictures of my plumbing issue and he would call me back. I live a half mile from his office, it would've been easy for him to come by and I would've paid him to do so. I sent the pictures and waited. Mr Malozi never called back. I called again the following day and Mr Malozi told me he never looked at the pictures and would call me back when he did so. I called another plumber as soon as I got off the phone and the problem was fixed the next day with no runaround. Good thing too because Mr Malozi never called me back! Call someone else, anyone else! This guy will waste your time.
They could not clear the sewer line because they were putting their equipment in the wrong trap. After snaking the wrong hole, he told me I needed to dig the pipe up and replace it and quoted me $3,500-$5,000 for the job. Then I had a second opinion plumber come up. Mike at Free Flow cleared the line in 45min. After this Mike explained that the line would have never cleared using the other entrance. Being that Malozi is a professional company they should have figured this out. When I asked for a 50% refund for the misdiagnosis and incorrect work, Malozi's true colors appeared. Below is the text conversation we had so other customers can be warned. I ended up spending a total of $700. Had Malozi known what he was doing this should have only cost me $285. Enjoy the pictures of the texts below. See how much Malozi values all his customers. For those who cannot see the photos of the text convo. I copied it below. I spoke to mike at Free Flow (215-441-8270) he says the clog would not have cleared through the other pipe. He was able to figure out the system wasn't a single trap. He got the big cutter blade down the other access pipe that was only 1 foot in front of the vent pipe. I don't want to cancel the payment, but would like to work out a 50% reimbursement. You are the professional, I'm sure you have seen this trap system before. You tried to up-sell me to dig it. Let me know if that is reasonable.- Tim As I explained to you I ran my equipment into your sewer twice and it did not open I was through both plugs . I gave you a price to run my equipment with no gaurentee that it would open . It may have been tickeled enough that it finally broke through -Phil Right but you ran it through the wrong one. You could have run it 7 times it wouldn't have cleared. The big cutter had to go in the other brass cap pipe. You either don't have the professional knowledge you claimed to have or you tried to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. Im willing to do the 50%. If not I'll call and cancel payment all together. -Tim Cancel the card and I will have you served with a shierff and take you to court . You will pay the additional court fees . Better bring a lawyer with you cause I have one on my payroll. -phil No problem, see you online. Well love good reviews for local businesses. See you in court Pal Yup and I'll file with the BBB (Better Business Bureau). You Misdiagnosed the issue and tried to up sell me 3-5k for a dig i didn't need. Or you can refund me 140$ and i wont do or say anything about your company. -Tim I didn't try to sell you anything. I just gave you a price if you had to dig it to replace , believe me I don't need your bussiness. I have tons of work . As far as the better business bureau I could give two shits because it's cheap people like you that can't afford to pay there bills and complain to them .I have a great reputation in the Lehigh valley for the last 36 yrs and a huge customer base . So we will be paid for are efforts . So you can stop threatening me and tell the judge in court on the day of the hearing . Don't cost me anything and again you will be severed and usually those cost are an additional 150 dollars added on to the bill. So ask yourself if you have the time and money lets have are day in court .. been there done that -phil . 36 years and you couldn't figure out you needed to go through the other trap? Or did your daddy leave you a self running business that you are running into the ground. I have plenty of money because I value it, and wont give it to scum like you. -Tim I will save and show these texts to the judge . Thank you and see you soon -Phil
First off....We are not DYI folks. Our house is cranky and quirky and never fails to thwart the inexperienced. Malozi have been our Go-To guys since 2009 and have helped us with everything from bad water softeners, to squealing toilets with tree roots growing in the wax ring. They installed new toilets and sink fixtures, made multiple leaky valve repairs, put in a new master shut off that my arthritic hands could actually close, and won the battle with a dishwasher that fiercely resisted its installation. Then there was the whole oil burner fiasco of 2019 during subzero temps in mid January. We kept having to hit the reset button. Mornings sucked. It didn’t occur to me to call my plumber when the oil burner goes. We called a home services company for a $99 cleaning and after a cursory inspection (and a $368 bill applied to any future job)..the news was devastating - it’s shot. A high pressure sales pitch followed. New everything, 10 year contracts, full rip outs. $21,000. Do it tomorrow for $16,000 at 20% off! Free financing....Sign now! Yadda yadda yadda. So I called my beloved plumbers for advice.I am so grateful to them for saving us from that home services scam! ($21,000 versus $7000). No matter what happens now, I call them first, they also know a good electrician and an amazingly crafty tile guy.
We used this company during a heavy rain when our sump stopped working. They came out during the storm and installed a new pump saving flooding into our finished basement. However during one of the next heavy storms our basement completely flooded when we were not home-but the pump worked when I tested it.When I called out another plumber(Schulers) to install a battery back up they determined that the check valve was installed improperly and that no air hole was drilled in the pipe to prevent an air lock which will keep the pump from pumping properly. The check valve was letting the water that was just pumped back in and the air lock was preventing power. Both things were very basic installation procedures.I tried calling this company several times to obvious no avail.About a $10,000 lesson.
Tommy and Jimmy are the definition of professional! I had some non-emergency work that I wanted to get done, and they showed up within hours of my first call and had the work done at a reasonable price by the following afternoon (and were happy to work around my schedule). They were punctual, took the time to explain what they did and even ended up charging me less than originally quoted because they found an easier way to do the job. They also showed up with masks, which is very important to me! I will be using Tommy and Jimmy for any future plumbing needs and highly recommend them.
Wonderful experience working with Tommy and Jimmy. From the time they received my call, they had the issue with my water heater expansion tank resolved within hours. They also spent time assisting with troubleshooting a backdraft concern with my water heater and I feel much better about the situation after their visit. Tommy and Jimmy took great care to inform me of the safety components of my heating units and the general functioning of my systems. I also believe the pricing was fair. I would gladly call them again for any future plumbing needs.
Just had Phil and Tom replace a sewer line from inside the house to the city main in the street. They and Bethlehem Sewer and Excavating did a great job. I am extremely confident in their work and they didnt mind that I bird dogged them, they were patient and always willing to explain what they were doing. About as worst a repair as you can imagine they put me at ease, exactly what you hope for when hiring someone to perform this kind of work. Extremely reasonable as well. Would hire again and again. Thanks Guys.
These are now the only folks I will call when I need boiler or plumbing work. I've had other, larger companies do work for me, and they don't come close to the level of service and quality here. Tommy and his son came out to replace my hot water heater the same day I called. They installed it quickly, explained how to operate it, and gave me recommendations on how to keep water and sewer lines protected, and my home clear of water. Honest work at a fair price. Small businesses do it better!
Had a beast of a toilet replacement job due to the existing flange being welded to an ancient drainpipe. These guys were fantastic. They fit me in on a busy schedule. Even though the job was more complicated than they expected and took longer to complete, they didn’t charge more than their original estimate. This is a small family and business with generational experience so you get expertise without the cost of overhead.
Absolutely fantastic. They took the time to explain things to me in a way that made sense, they didn’t throw around jargon that I couldn’t understand. They worked so efficiently and were courteous of my time, my home, and my pets! I didn’t feel taken advantage of or exploited, which is hard to come by these days. They are the only plumber I will be using from now on without a doubt. I truly cannot recommend them enough!
Tommy and Jimmy are the best out there. We had issues with our pipes out front for a while. Tried a few services over the years and had the best experience with these guys. They went above and beyond to help us out. Came out in a half hour and called after they left to follow up with more advice. Would highly recommend to anyone.
