Came by on time knew his stuff and did a great job. He reworked everything under my kitchen sink and even went above by making sure my pull out faucet weight didn’t need my bungee cord hack. All of this and I didn’t feel over charged. Not to mention he was in and out.

Don has been doing our plumbing for years. I wouldn't call anyone else. He friendly, very responsive and most importantly very good at what he does. He recently replaced our water heater and was able to schedule it right away, order good quality parts and got it done at a fair price.

I had a broken PVB valve for my irrigation system that needed replacement. Don came out the same day, and took care of it within an hour as I told him I needed to head out soon. He did a great job, very clean solder work and even cleaned up the excess that fell on the ground. He also took the time to note some precautions I should take when winterizing etc. Don and PHI do great work and once he was done we had nice chat. Highly recommend their service!

We made an appointment on Monday to come to the house between 8-9 a.m. on Friday to install a gas line for our new cooktop. Told us he would be there early closer to 8:00 a.m. and he is a NO SHOW!!!!! No call or warning. Why do people not want to work? BE WARNED VERY UNDEPENDABLE! NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS DON!

I am dumbfounded as to how this man has so many positive reviews. That's actually the reason I went with him, wish I hadn't. In fact, if you look on Nextdoor you will see some not so great reviews within posts asking for recs. Had him come out for what should have been a simple leak from the kitchen sink. Visit was $120 or $140, I can't recall, and he literally did nothing. I'm not exaggerating when I say this. He couldn't figure out where the leak was coming from even though I had a bowl under the pipe and you could clearly see where it was leaking from. He was also so gruff and rude the entire time. A little bit of good customer service goes a long way, even if you own your own business. After doing NOTHING aside from tightening a few things that probably had nothing to do with the leak anyway, he left. The next day I could see that it was still leaking into the bowl, I didn't want to pay for a new person to come out so I was hoping he would back up his "work" and come out for free since he hadn't done anything before. He so kindly charged me, at least it was only $80ish, STILL couldn't find the source of the leak so he put some caulking or whatever he used on the pipes under the sink. Again, did nothing. I had AAA Plumbing come out and I swear to you the plumber with AAA diagnosed the leak within minutes. He fixed it and no leaks since! It's laughable that this man calls himself a master plumber when he can't diagnose a simple leak that a real plumber found instantly.

I used Don's services a few months back (11/17) and just didn't have time to write a review. I just bought a townhouse that needed a lot of work. I used Don because he was highly rated on Yelp. I had him come out to give me some estimates on how much the repairs would be, if some of the repairs were even needed and also how much it would cost for some advice if I decided to wait on the repair or do it myself. He came out, told me his prices and was very patient while I took him through the number of different repairs. He fixed a few of the problems right on the spot and gave me estimates for the rest. He was able to save us a lot of money by not ripping into the wall to see if we had a leak. We couldn't see any visible water damage. But we had a dripping type sound almost every time we took a shower and thought it might be a leak. He helped us troubleshoot it and recreate the problem by simply changing the water temperature. If we just used the cold water, the weird drip like sound never happened. It just happened when we turned it to hot and then it went away. Then we went into the garage where the sewer runs and the sound was much louder, but different. It sounded more like creaking/expanding pipes then it did like a leak. Then it became very apparent that is was not a leak. We had another company who was going to charge us $150 to scope the pipes. Don also helped me fix my bathroom. I couldn't take a shower or bath because of a lot of leaks that I couldn't figure out how to repair. I didn't have the money to remodel it like I planned. I had other contractors give me an estimate on just getting it to work and they said I was going to have to rip out the wall to replace the fixtures and leaks. But, Don was actually able to fix them and even replace them with very nice brushed nickel fixtures without tearing into the wall. He even helped me recaulk my entire large tub with some quarter round to cover up some old bad repairs and replace my sink. I won't go into the other repairs and advice. They were all great. Don was very easy to work with, his work is professional because he pays attention to the details, he listened, he was sincere and honest, he gave me great advice and ideas, and saved me a lot of money. He even recommended some awesome restaurants since I am new to the area. I've had bad experiences with other contractors that were highly rated. So, I was very happy that Don lived up to his high ratings. I definitely recommend his services.

Some weeks ago our pipes started banging in the walls and after our daughter had a bath one day the water leaked into the ceiling of the 1/2 bath below and started coming through the vent on the ceiling. I looked up plumbing issues on line and did all the things they said to do when pipes start banging in the walls...and nothing worked. Went to the Water department and asked if it was a water pressure issue from them and was told by the guy that works our area that many people in our area had been having similar problems and it was the water pressure gauges that were installed in the house's some 15 years ago when they were built. So anyhow I called Don and we went over the issue and he told me that he was going to be a little more expensive because he used a good quality water pressure gauge after a couple of failed ones previously and he wanted to make sure we had a good quality product. He really wasn't any more money to have him out, it really was inline with others using cheaper parts. Anyhow at the moment we rent the house...and will be buying in a few months, so I advised using him to the landlord. He came in and made sure before he actually replaced the part that it was in fact the problem! He checked out the leak...and wouldn't you know it...no leak...LOL...not idea what it was, but he tightened up the drain and overflow...made sure everything else was working right...we tried and tried to make it leak...Nothing!! So we have not had any other issues...but we asked him about a number of things I had concerns about and he patiently answered my questions, and I never felt that we were being an inconvenience. Anyhow, we are planning a kitchen renovation and bathroom renovations when we buy the house next year, so we will be having him back to do the work then. I should also say that both my husband and have worked in the construction industry and have a good knowledge of plumbing, and at not time did Don ever try to stretch the truth or try and do more then was needed. (he did not know we actually had some knowledge, although we are not experts by any means...hence the questions, but we both understand plumbing to a large degree so were impressed with his knowledge.) I highly recommend him...he's clean, quick and patient. Very reasonable pricing as well.

***updated review…So this was my previous review when I’ve dealt with him before for the last couple of times I’ve asked him for help. He pretty much ghosted me and says he’s out of town for a month or two so now I wonder if he’s just blowing me off and if he doesn’t want to work anymore. I do live in a mobile home and sometimes people don’t like working on mobile homes. Well, I guess I’ll have to find somebody else now. November 12th Update for a new problem. My bathroom faucet needed to be replaced because the faucets were cheap and leaking. Because I had to shut my water off I had to call another company that capped the pipe but we’re going to charge me almost a grand to replace. Of course I wasn’t going to pay that much. I remembered that Don had fixed my toilet so I called to get an estimate on replacing the faucets. The estimate was so much more reasonable so of course I had Don replace both the faucets. I purchased both faucets and Don replaced both and maybe took an hour to do. I recommend Don as he is fair and honest and many plumbers are not these days. I will continue to use PHI for my plumbing needs. Don came out at short notice on a Sunday. He came at his estimated time of 15-20 minutes. My toilet was running and the top of the side valve the screw rusted. He fully replaced the side valve and made adjustments so the toilet stopped running. Don also installed a shut off valve. Maybe took Don an hour if that. Now everything is working great. The prices was very reasonable and I don’t think i was charged more for a Sunday. I will fully recommend Don as he is efficient and reasonable. Don thank you.

Holy cow! I will keep Donald from Phi Plumbing Service on speed dial in my phone until the end of time. Not even kidding. Apparently our house really likes having water issues. Water issues have started to become the bane of my existence. One after another, after another. My biggest complaint with them is I am certain it will cost an arm and a leg to replace and repair anything. So it's really disheartening when any water issue comes up. Boy was I surprised today. This time we had a problem with our hose bib in the front of our house. It had cracked inside the house and it flooded our basement. Truth be told, before meeting Donald from PHI Plumbing Service I didn't even know what to call the hose bib. When I called him I said something like, "yeah there's a hook up thing outside that is leaking into our basement". My lack of terminology didn't confuse him at all. We set up our appointment (which was completely easy) and he arrived on time with a new hose pipe in hand. He knew exactly what needed to be replaced and what was happening before I even showed him. This guy knows his stuff! He told me upfront what it would cost and I was floored that I didn't feel like I was getting over charged. The quote he gave me came with the price of the replacement part. I was so pleased and didn't feel taken advantage of by a plumber for the first time in my life. I was so pleased with him. I will use him again and give all his information to all of my friends.

Don was the first person I called because of the Yelp ratings, and I can tell you that he earned every star. I had an emergency with a failed valve that feeds a swamp cooler in the attic. To compound problems, the water main shutoff inside the house was frozen OPEN. Even though I wrenched it closed as tightly as I could, it would not shut off. After panicking and running around the house opening all the faucets including the outside hose bibs to allow pressure out, I ran to Home Depot to grab a pressure cap that I could apply to the first valve to stop the water. It was while I was driving to Home Depot that I called Don, and he dropped EVERYTHING to run to my house and shut of the water main outside for me to stop the water. An hour of work, and I have two brand new valves (and now I know I can shut off the water in an emergency.) No damage, thank goodness, and Don didn't gouge me at all. A very reasonable price, even though I had an emergency. Really, he was a true professional, and I will honestly use him again in an instant (although I hope I don't have any more emergencies!)

Great service. Found PHI Plumbing and Don via Google searching around locally for a licensed plumber. My house is about 20 years old and needed to replace my 10-year-old water heater which had sprung a leak. I wanted someone local, knowledgeable, and experienced. Don was great to work with. We spoke over the phone and gave me a general ballpark idea of what it was going to cost me to replace it. After doing the bid dance with a couple of other local companies including going to Lowes to see what their installer would charge, I decided to go with Don / PHI as they were to most competitive and straightforward with me. The other guys kept providing expensive options and up sales. He was able to get me in immediately and had the material ready to go in his work van. The installation was very quick and was able to get my new water heater up and running. Clean, efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I highly recommend Don and PHI Plumbing. I got his number ready to go for the next project. Thanks, Don!

Don has come to our rescue several times over the years. Plumbing projects in our Thornton home have always had a way of being emergencies, and Don has always been able to help us quickly - often that same day! This time, we had an unexplainable bit of water in the crawl space. Thanks to his previous work on our crawlspace plumbing, we were able to diagnose and solve the mystery quickly! While I was opening the deck access to our sprinkler system, he replaced a leaky valve for my upstairs toilet - and fixed another leak going into the tank! I'm editing an older review here, adding that bit above. We first hired Don from PHI Plumbing in 2016 to do some work on our house. Our DIY kitchen remodel needed some plumbing changed around and Don completed it quickly and perfectly. Thanks for his visit, we could do the next phase of the remodel ourselves! He provided helpful advice both on the phone and in person, too. He's our "go to" plumbing guy forever now, and I knew it even then. Highly recommended!

I can't reccomend Don at PHI Plumbing enough - A quick run into the basement to put away something led me to discover a large puddle growing under my hot water heater with the exciting sound of running water. Aside from the mess, the idea of a family - with teenagers - being without hot water for who knows how long had me... expressing myself in ways that would make my sailor father proud... or blush. I remembered a friend of mine telling me about his great experience with PHI Plumbing so I decided to give Don a call. He said one of the most amazing things I've heard any plumber say, "Well, I can be there in about an hour." Don was true to his word and arrived when he said with everything he needed to replace my hot water heater and get me back to normal in just over an hour. The bill hurt (when does a surprise new water heater not hurt?) but everything seemed honest, fair, and reasonable. Simply put, Don is your guy. He's honest, fair, and his Master Plumber cred is obvious.

Don was very professional and courteous and went out of his way to fit us into his schedule. I missed an opportunity on Monday to get in touch with him in time for a next day appointment and he had already scheduled someone else. He asked if we could reschedule for Thursday afternoon and as I was sorting out my calendar he asked what the issue was. When I told him, he said that it was most likely an easy fix and he scheduled to come by on his way home even though he was already booked for a full day. He stopped by during the expected time window he provided and was able to get us fixed up and working again in short order. It meant a lot to me that he didn't have to come by after his work day had technically wrapped up, especially when it was on me for not getting in touch to get on his schedule earlier. He was very friendly and resolved our issues quickly. Definitely worth the 5 star review and I'd recommend Don to anyone that needs a professional plumber.
