I first used Perfectum Construction and Plumbing in 2021 and had a great experience. Vadim replaced my water heater, pressure reducing valve, and the main water shut-off valve. He came on short notice (water heaters are always an emergency) and advised me to replace the pressure valve and the main shut-off. His work was very professional. It was clear that he insists on doing things the right way. When he replaced the water heater, he also rearranged the Rube Goldberg water lines that fed our furnace humidifier. Just a couple of days ago I had Vadim and Peter come back to install a new kitchen faucet and a new garbage disposal with an air-button system. They also fixed a couple of our toilets that were leaking, and capped a gas line that we no longer use since we replaced our gas range with an electric one. They paid attention to the details, and they left the work site clean and neat. I trusted Vadim’s recommendations for replacement fixtures, and he shopped for them, checking first with me before he made the purchases. We have been working with Vadim for well over a decade, and he is truly the person you call when you want the job done right. He is often the one fixing inferior plumbing work that others couldn’t get right the first time. He’s excellent with water heater installations, dishwashers, and any plumbing project that requires skill and attention to detail. One experience really stands out. After installing a brand-new water heater, Vadim noticed a leak coming from the anode rod on top of the unit — a factory defect. Instead of leaving us without hot water or asking us to wait several days, he immediately took action. It was nearly 9:00 p.m., and he rushed to Home Depot, arriving just a minute before closing. He returned the same evening and completed the repair so we wouldn’t be left stranded. That level of dedication says everything. Vadim genuinely cares about his customers, stands behind his work, and goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done properly. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using Perfectum for quite a few years and have always had a great experience. On one occasion, I couldn’t winterize my back hose bib. When Vadim, the owner, arrived, he quickly realized that the original internal shut-off valve installed by the builder also shut off cold water to my kitchen faucet. Vadim carefully analyzed the piping and was able to install a dedicated shut-off valve in a very tight ceiling space. Thanks to that solution, I can now properly winterize the back hose bib. Over the years, Perfectum has also fixed multiple pinhole leaks, replaced my toilet, and changed my kitchen faucet. Fair pricing, excellent workmanship, and they always clean up after the job. I highly recommend Perfectum.

My partner and I hired and signed contract with Carlos General Contractor & State Plumbing LLC on 12/12/2017 for $34,000 to complete the work that the Montgomery County had already approved with the proper drawing from a licensed architect and to obtain my Use and Occupancy permit from the county . At the time of the signing , Carlos had verbally promised us that it's an easy project , that It will be finished by the end of the January and Mid February for sure. After signing the contract with Carlos General Contractor & State Plumbing LLC, there was absolutely nothing done in the shop for the first month from the moment we sign the contract to 01/12/2018( which is the date when Carlos submitted the application to start the plumbing work after an entire month of not doing anything ). the plumbing work was approved for close-in on 02/02/2018 and absolute nothing was done after the WSSC(plumbing) close-in was approved. During that time my partner and I would go in the shop to check the progress, everything still looked the same day by day. I called Carlos to figure out why we couldn't do other things( electrical, mechanical and fire Marshall) while waiting on the plumbing permit, was told by Carlos that county doesn't allow him to work on anything else while waiting for the plumbing final inspection approval. So we patiently waited again until about mid march, and I called Carlos again to find out why it's taking forever to finish a simple project like this, and I was told by Carlos that everything's almost done and we would get our use and occupancy permit by the end of March. The end of march came , and we still didn't get our Use and occupancy permit. After a few month going back and forth with Carlos, we finally got our use and occupancy permit on 06/26/2018. I went to the Montgomery county planning office myself and found out that the whole time Carlos had been lying to us, he could've submitted the electrical, mechanical , fire Marshall permit application immediately after we sign the contract but he didn't do it at all, which wouldn't waste all these months waiting and being fed by Carlos lies. The electrical permit application was sent in the county on 03/15/2018 , the mechanical permit application was send in on 05/24/2018, both of the permits are same day approval. when we confronted Carlos why he didn't send in the application in December of 2017, he simply told us that he was on a family vacation in Florida( which we have voice recording evidence of Carlos admitting his lack attendance during these months. Therefore , we asked Carlos to compensate our finical damage during these months( we pay $2600 for the rent per month and other bills) which if he started the process early , we would've gotten our use and occupancy permit at least 4 months earlier than 06/26/2018. All these months past and we have lost countless business opportunities, we just want some justice. We had dug out our savings just to pay for the rent without utilizing our space while waiting on Carlos's lies for a long time. During these month, Carlos would go convince my architect to revise the drawings to the county so he could potentially make more profits which wastes even more time on our end. also, according to Carlos, there were additions on top of our original contract, when we asked him to show us the receipt of all the material he bought, he simply told us that he doesn't have them(also have voice recording evidence), also there are a lot of unfinished work left in the shop. in the end, Carlos had costed us badly finically and emotionally. This is the worst experience ever, spending our life savings and being fed with lies for 7 entire month. I would rate his business ZERO STAR , I DO NOT RECOMMEND Carlos General Contractor & State Plumbing LLC to nobody!!!!!!!!!

Over the past five years, the Perfectum team has successfully completed a wide range of projects at my home. Their work included painting the entire house, replacing the roof, and installing a new HVAC system. They also handled a very complex repair involving a broken sewage line that was pinched between an HVAC duct and a structural support beam, which caused my basement to flood. Perfectum managed the situation professionally at every stage—performing water mitigation, thoroughly drying and disinfecting the area, and completing full flood restoration. This included replacing the entire bamboo basement flooring, repairing damaged drywall, and repainting the space. The quality of work, attention to detail, and professionalism throughout every project have been outstanding.

bought a townhome and wanted to quickly renovate and upgrade some items in my home. Carlos started work promptly and did an amazing job. He opened walls, moved my laundry to the second floor, Changed doors, created closets, hung shelves and cabinets, painted my entire home, built a fire place, changed fixtures, installed electrical to my new microwave, tiled several areas and more. All in a little over a months time. He and his crew worked day and night to give me the home I was dreaming of. We worked together and he listened to all my ideas and made them into a reality. I’ve used Perfectum Construction And Plumbing on multiple occasions in different houses, and they’ve always delivered excellent service. Last time I had a toilet that was leaking in my crawl space for a while and completely destroyed my subfloor and the floor joists. Since these guys do structural work as well they replaced all of them. They also relocated my HVAC ducts, installed a smaller window and replaced all the bad framing. It was very convenient that I did not have to call a bunch of different companies to do all these jobs. They completely remodeled my bathroom and it was done quickly and efficiently. Very happy with the results!

Carlos and his crew replaced my falling apart carport ceiling with plywood and then replaced the decorative covering. He also installed a ceiling fan with light. They did an excellent job, very professional. Cleaned the mess everyday and left carport clean. His estimate was in line with others I received. Very pleased, 5 starts.

I love to give Carlos 5 star-- he is very professional, did good job quickly, with reasonably price. When I called him, show him a pic of my leaking PRV, he immdiately give me th price and time he would come. He did, get teh job well done within 1 hour. I highly recommend him!

Spouse called him for a repair and possible replacement. Carlos asked what the problem is and if we could send a pic. Gave an estimate over the phone and ETA. Showed up ahead of schedule. Did what we asked him to do, checked his work, and cleaned up after himself.

Carlos did a great job and was very responsive. Will be using his services again soon.
