Parsons plumbing is honest and works hard to solve any plumbing issue. We had a problem with our toilet seal and when they went to lift the toilet the tank cracked. They immediately ordered a replacement tank at no charge and came back to reset the seal and toilet. Their communication is fantastic. I feel confident recommending them!
We are extremely pleased with the job done by Christopher with Parson Plumbing! He was very thorough, knowledgeable, communicated well, and explained everything clearly. He was also friendly and helpful! The company was able to schedule him quickly and that was important in our case. We just can't give them enough praise! We have multiple properties and have been looking for a decent plumbing company for years. They are now the only plumbers we will use! Needless to say, highly recommended!
Christopher Hesson from Parson did an INCREDIBLE job replacing and fixing all the things for us. He was kind and respectful while he was here. Worked hard and at a reasonable pace. He even answered all of my curiosity questions because I like to learn about the things people fix in our home. We highly recommend and will absolutely use them again.
UPDATE: called Parson back for some more work; the guy who came out clearly didn't know what he was doing, and screwed it all up. It was a simple kitchen faucet. We wanted it replaced, and we even had a replacement right there; but, this old man said naw, your old one's fine, it's just the supply line popped off. I'll put it back on. And an hour later the supply line has popped off again. So clearly, it's not fixed--and all we want is the new faucet put on like we originally asked. My wife calls back, and what does Parson tell her? That it'll be several days before anyone can come out. And by God, they stuck with that for the longest time. The manager even doubled down on that, despite my wife's protests. She finally made enough noise, I believe someone finally called Dustin himself. Turns out he was in the field and didn't have time for this nonsense. What he didn't realize was that HE was responsible for the nonsense. Anyway, the manager finally called back in a couple of hours, and this time offered to have someone come out that afternoon. By that time we had found someone else, and moved on. Dustin's a great plumber who thought he could create his own business. Apparently not. Running a business is way different than running pipe. I'm still stunned at how this all rolled out. No one in his right mind would have said the things they initially said. "Sorry our guy couldn't fix something simple, you're stuck until we can be bothered to get someone out there again" is not the answer.
I am writing to share my experience to hopefully prevent this from happening to others. While I will detail my experience below, I would like to highlight first that if you are looking for a company to service a sewer line concern, I would look elsewhere as this does not seem to be their area of expertise. A few weeks ago we requested Parson Plumbing and Drains to provide us with a quote to clear what we thought was a clog in our main sewer line. The line was hydrojetted by one of their plumbers and then a drain camera was put down our main sewer line. The camera then got stuck in the main sewer line due to a separation in our pipes and would need to be repaired. While I understand that challenges arise with this type of work, and we were understanding at first, the behavior of Parson Plumbing and Drains since their camera got stuck is what has led to this poor experience. After several hours trying to get their camera unstuck, they were unsuccessful and left our home for the night. Because the camera was in our main sewer line, we were unable to close it and could not use any water in our home. They did not offer to come in the evening or work around our work schedules, so they did not come back to our house until 4 days later to try to get their camera unstuck. After their second attempt, they once again could not retrieve their camera and left again, with their solution to be to dig up our yard to access the sewer line and retrieve their camera. We had an alternative plumbing company come out to provide us for a repair quote on our sewer line. After just a few minutes, this plumber was able to successfully get their camera unstuck for them. This plumber (and 2 additional plumbers) have been able to traverse our sewer line with their own cameras without concern. We have since learned (through working with other plumbing companies on our sewer line repair) that the sewer line was not adequately hydrojetted, which is the service that we hired Parson Plumbing and Drains for. When we discussed this with Parson Plumbing and Drains, they told us that not even a partial reimbursement would be an option. Throughout all of this, there has been no apology for the inconvenience and they threatened to sue us if we opted to work with our credit card company to investigate the charge for service. Overall, if you are looking for a company to service a sewer line concern, I would look elsewhere as this does not seem to be their area of expertise.
Parson Drains and Plumbing definitely took good care of us with our recent sump pump issue. Christopher Hesson provided the service for us, and he was great to work with. He explained what our issue was very clearly, and was able to replace our sump pump quickly. He even took an extra minute to explain why he did a bit of touch up work in the sump pump area itself, and the differences between our old sump pump and the new one. As a former contractor/business owner myself, I genuinely appreciate service providers who do things the right way like Christopher does...very friendly, very competent, and very thorough. As a business owner, I know that having people represent your business as well as Christopher does is invaluable to a company's success. There is a reason other reviews have mentioned Christopher specifically, and I am glad I got the chance to have him help with my issue. And rest assured Christopher, when our ancient hot water heater we discussed finally gives out, I will be calling Parson Plumbing and Drains, and requesting you specifically, to come out and replace it. Thanks again for taking care of us, your help is much appreciated.
Didn't resolve my issue. He did cut a hole in my dry wall to determine the origin of the leak, but wasn't able to take apart my shower fixture to get a better idea if the leak was coming from the fixture or thru the tile. Had suggestions on what needed to be done but none was anything he could provide. More money than what I received in return. Further update: I wanted to support the comments which the owner made in his response to my initial post. Parson's did send out their Field Supervisor to my house which I greatly appreciated. This action illustrates this company believes in their quality promise. Further, on their own, they refunded my initial visit costs. Bottom-line I would use their services again and suggest their actions clearly illustrate a company that believes in quality service!
Parson's Drains and Plumbing were magnificent. Matt and Trevor showed up at the time stated in the email, and the call. They were eager to get the job accomplished as well. As the job got started Matt and Trevor would explain each step if necessary. They were polite, and knowledgeable about their profession. The job took about an hour and Matt and Trevor had me come down to examine their work. They explained in detail how the new Hot water heater worked; thus, stated if there were any issues just call. Matt and Trevor then cleaned up the job over and beyond. I'd recommend Parsons Drains and Plumbing. Matt and Trevor were A class. I would recommend Parsons Plumbing and Drains because of their Performance, Friendliness, and the fabulous value. Thank You.
Wow! We were incredibly impressed by the professionalism, quality of work, and fair pricing. Since moving to Columbus in 2018, we’d always used the big plumbing/HVAC companies and had no idea how much we were overpaying. Another plumber told us we needed to replace a large section of copper piping, but Matt took the time to actually investigate the issue. He showed us the copper pipe was only turning green from corrosion caused by contact with a lead pipe — not that the copper itself needed to be replaced. He fixed the problem without unnecessary work, saving us a huge amount of money. Honest, knowledgeable, and trustworthy — we’ll absolutely be calling Matt and Parson Plumbing again!
I had three different plumbing companies come out to look at a very complicated project in my 1920 home. The first two were well known, larger, plumbing companies, and then Parson came in and gave me the lowest most reasonable quote — Half the cost of one and a third the cost of the other! They were professional, thorough and actually had to make fewer holes than the other two were suggesting to make, and they didn’t have to go through the bathroom at all, which was counter to the other two estimates I received. So all in all, they did the same job with less demo at a fraction of the cost. Will definitely use them again!
The receptionist was very kind and friendly. She found us the quickest appointment. Mike, the technician called an hour prior to our appointment time staying he was running early and asked permission to arrive early for our appointment. He came to the conclusion I needed a new water heater within minutes of arriving. Three hours later I had a new hot water heater installed, old one gone. My only complaint, certainly not his fault was the cost. That cost was unbelievable... But, what can you do, you need hot water. I will use this company for future issues and I would recommend this company for yours.
Very pleased with our experience using Parsons Plumbing! Steven came to help us replace a leaky 35 year old water main valve and some rusty pipe in our home. He was on time, friendly, came prepared with the parts needed, and waited until our after water was turned back on by the city to test it and make sure there were no problems. The whole process was so smooth and Parsons Plumbing impressed us by scheduling the water shut off at the street with our city in advance. It only took about an hour from start to finish. We really appreciated their level of detail and how easy this was! Highly recommend!
Graham came out to help us with leaks in our shower and outdoor spigot. He was so friendly and professional, and he fixed everything up very quickly. Gave us a great price, too! Edit: less than a year later, the spigot wouldn't work when we turned outdoor water back on this spring. We investigated and were stumped, so I called Parson again. They sent out Nate, who was great and fixed it in no time. The spigot just had a faulty part - the kind of thing that can happen with any product. He replaced it, no charge to us for any of it. Great service all around!
The Gahanna Historical Society's Bed & Breakfast had a second floor leak that caved in a portion of the dining room ceiling. We had a terrible time locating the leak! "It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma;" Noel, of Parsons Plumbing and Drains, after careful and lengthy study, found and corrected the problem. He is a marvelous individual. We are so thankful. Jim McGregor Chairman Gahanna Historical Society
From start to finish, the service provided by Kyle and team was both great and highly professional. The quality of the installation work is exceptional, and the entire process was managed efficiently and courteously. We are very pleased with the final result and the attention to detail shown by everyone involved. Thank you again for your hard work and for providing such a high-quality service.
