Alec and Spencer came to change the water heater for my apartment. I must say, the professionalism, politeness and friendly personality is a breath of fresh air in this day and age. Especially when faced with inconveniences they still maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor. (This isn't an easy apartment complex with staff and residents, so for them to stay as professional and friendly as they do, while working hard, getting the job done right and in a good amount of time, literally deserves them a raise).

As a large property management operator I use O'Connor as my primary resource for plumbing and guidance. They've been nothing but professional and competitive with pricing. Their Team is very knowledgeable and they always get the job done within quoted cost, on time and professionally. They're not only great at what they do but they're just overall good hearted people. I highly recommend calling O'Connor for your plumbing needs.

HUGE thanks to O'Connor and especially Ethan and Clayton, who replaced our toilet, the water heater, and redid the shower all while fielding the questions of my two kids, worked around the curiosity of two cats AND the dog! They were fast and efficient, they were friendly, and now a couple weeks later everything continues to work perfectly!!

My first review of this company was deleted by the company contacting Google but here are the photos to prove what I was saying in the first review. This company trashed my apartment before leaving because they were doing emergency plumbing work on the apartment next to me and needed access to my apartment to fix it. They said it would take seven days instead it took 2 1/2 weeks. They locked me out of my apartment and changed the locks and told me that it was so I wouldn’t mess up anything they were doing. They are on camera sleeping on my couch, looking thru my things and trashing my place with no regard for my belongings whatsoever. The mental anguish And the emotional abuse they put me thru has been more than I have ever had to bear since i have moved here and I hope no one ever uses this company ever again .

If their driving is any indication of their work I would definitely steer clear. I was on the road this morning going straight on a green light and one of their vans was coming from the right on a yield to traffic. Instead of following the law, they decided to speed up to try to cut me off and almost hit me from the passenger side. Very questionable morals.

Multiple very poor interactions with O'Connor. Cody replaced our hot water heater and was professional and punctual. Following that, we called them back to fix a pipe leaking under a bathroom sink and two shower faucets. The pipe leak was seemingly quickly fixed, as was shower #1. We were told they would have to order parts for shower #2, which would take a couple of weeks. A month after the initial "fixes," there was a lot of water in the sink cabinet due to continued leaking and the wood had cracked and warped, and shower #1 was leaking again. We had not heard back about the parts on shower #2. A different plumber came back to fix the sink issue, was there 10 minutes and "fixed" it again. Within hours it was leaking. A third plumber diagnosed incorrect work previously done, repaired it and took photos for an insurance claim. He also took photos of the shower faucets so he could order the correct parts (weeks after we raised the issue). I followed up twice with the office on the insurance claim and never heard back. Four weeks after the shower parts were supposed to be ordered, the plumber called to say that he had finally connected with the distributor and the parts would be in after two weeks, and they would then call to schedule the repair. That was six weeks ago, and we never heard from them again. Absolutely abominable customer service and workmanship - I am surprised they have any repeat customers.

Every single faucet/repair they have done, has resulted in leaks, not even a year later. The employees are rude, especially the dispatcher. She has absolutely no organization/priority and will 100% ruin your entire day. We’ve been forced to continue using this company as it is our landlords preferred service. They are aware she lives in another state, so they perform the bare minimum service to take advantage of her. When you ask for a call back you wont get it. Today the plumber said he was “running across the street to grab a coffee” and never came back. When I called in to ask what was going on they told me “they were doing their best” doing your best isnt leaving for a coffee, never coming back & not fixing the issue, while i sit & wait for hours with no communication. Riggo should be absolutely disappointed to be affiliated with this company. Update 4/18: Upgrading my review to 3 stars, after Andrew stopped by today to work on a few issues in the house. His service alone would have been 5 stars with many referral’s. He was super knowledgeable, and fixed everything the other plumbers couldn’t. He taught me proper care instructions, and educated me on how the systems worked. O’Connor needs more plumbers like him. This is the type of service we used to get from O’Connor. But in recent years, less and less experienced plumbers were sent out. I hope they can find a way to improve communication with their customers.

The Technician was awesome. Very professional. Then we paid the bill, which was TWICE what I was expecting. I paid the bill like good customers do, and didn't argue the cost. But I wanted to know what the breakdown was - how much for parts, and how much for labor. I asked the Technician, and he told me he didn't know. He gets the amount due from the business office. So we called the business office. I asked what was the labor charge, and what was the parts. The office couldn't tell us either. "We don't do business that way", I was told. Electricians "do business that way". So do locksmiths. So do auto repair shops, roofers, landscape companies, and all the other plumbers I have dealt with prior to today. So HOW, exactly, do they do their billing? Well, since they don't price out labor and parts, apparently the bill is computed by the day of the week. Maybe the ambient temperature. An analysis of somebody's horoscope. What they had for dinner last night. Or by some TOTALLY irrelevant measure. Who can say? Maybe it's completely random. Maybe they use Tarot Cards, bones, or voices that come to them from the woods on a misty morning. Again, the Technician did a great job. But if you don't want to pay an arbitrary price, look somewhere else first. Dollars to donuts you will pay FAR less ANYwhere else. And you will be dealing with a company that still values honesty and integrity.

Our pipes burst in the extreme cold so we called these guys. They came quickly during the holiday and were friendly; however, they were sloppy. They took our radiators out, replaced the broken pipes and didn't bother putting them back. Screws and paint chips were left lying around. Not only that but the job wasn't completed. They didn't stay to make sure the house was heated thoroughly and there were no more broken pipes. As a result, we had to call the HVAC guy who just said that the pipes needed to be thawed by a space heater or a special machine the plumbers (!!) had. With this, a space heater was placed in a cold room and sure enough, three more pipes leaked. We called these guys again to replace the pipes. In the process, they butchered our radiators and didn't bother cleaning up their mess. The worst part is, being deaf, the plumber used his phone to communicate with me and accidentally revealed a conversation between him and another co-worker(?): "I hope this lady is out of our location and is on well water. That is good money right there." My husband told the plumber off, who was stammering and apologizing and came back to clean up his mess. He explained that he "forgot!" And that he wasn't talking about us. By then, the damage was done. Like the other reviewer mentioned, they are overpriced, didn't do a thorough job, and are obviously dishonest. Needless to say, we will not use O'Connor again.

This was just brought to light by another plumber. They left our yard a mess. It is not graded like it should be. The dirt is just a mound and you sink in when you stand on it. They didn't level it or compact it like it should be.. Another plumber told us that the water can collect right against our house. They rushed to get the project done at the end. This new plumber said that they did that kind of work for 6 years and they never would have left the yard like that. When I called O'connor back to come fix it, the owner, Jason, kept saying he would stop by. He even agreed through text message based on the pictures I sent him that it was slanted towards the house. Then I get an email from Jason, the owner, saying that as per the contract they don't do anything with settlement after the work is completed. They never graded it as per the contract. They were dishonest. Also, supposedly they hydrojetted our pipe. The new plumber said it did not look like it! I would look elsewhere for a plumber. Now our basement has flooded twice. It floods everytime it rains, our floors are ruined and we have to get the window well repaired. We are going to have to put out a lot of money to fix it.

Updating again: Our basement now has flooded twice because of their shoddy work. My basement floors are ruined as is the window well. I am revising my review because I did not realize this. O'Connor plumbing has extremely poor schedulers. I called and asked to set up service for my home. The appointment was scheduled. At the time the appointment was supposed to occur I received a call saying they would not be able to come and the appointment would need to be re-scheduled. I adjusted my work schedule a second time to accommodate the change. They then asked me if I new where the water shut off to my building was. I said I didn't and could look into it and I could get back to them. That was all they said. The morning of the appointment I called to confirm and let them know that the shut off was not in my condo unit. They told me they would have to again cancel the appointment. I would need to have my management company make the appointment and all charges would go to the management company which could be forwarded to me. They did not tell me any of this in either of the two conversations before and the women on the phone was not empathic and often spoke over me not allowing me to speak. I don't know how they are once you get them to provide service; however, actually getting them to provide service was not a good indicator.

I called O'Conner plumbing since I had a leak in the toilet I was very familiar with as I had fixed it myself before in the downstairs bathroom. However, this time I was recovering from surgery and was on bed rest. I had paid less than $5 at Home Depot for the replacement parts and told my wife they will probably charge us up to $100. Day of the repair a "Trevor" came by and he said the issue was with the water tank screw and it matched the exact same scenario I had encountered before and fixed. On the brightside, I would say Trevor was very courteous and respectful and efficient in his repair fixed in it in half the time it took me and the repair was done to my liking. However, prior to the fix, as I was prepared to be overcharged, I was overcharged more than I had predicted. I was expecting up to $100 but Trever from O'Conner Plumbing charged me $135 for a job that would cost less than $5 if I had done it myself. So, if you want something done quick, efficiently, with a friendly customer service who will also charge you up the A$$ use O'Connor Plumbing. They get it done right and expensively.

I have no problem with the plumbing repair. A plumber and his assistant finished the job in less than one hour. However, I was shocked to receive a bill for 2.5 hours. When I contacted the company, I was told they would charge up to 1-hr travel time and was asked "Are you sure he wasn’t there " for the 2nd hour. When I confirmed their stay time was less than 1 hour, then he insisted they stayed 1.5 hours and had 1-hr travel time. The company is 12 minutes from my home. It was 10:45am when they came on Thursday, without traffic. One hour would mean they traveled really far. The plumber actually came well ahead of their scheduled time which kind of surprised me, but they got to work right away without waiting. While charging reasonable travel time is fine, but 2.5 hours for something less than one hour is just ridiculous. What is more alarming is the company is not honest at all. I would suggest people stay away from dealing with them.
