Norm’s plumbing is exceptional! Ernie, Doug and Samantha have taken care of our plumbing and heating needs for generations. They are such good, honest people! Their work ethic is amazing. They have shown up and fixed our plumbing and heating issues at all times of day and night. They are best!

Norm’s Plumbing is highly professional, they give you an accurate quote before starting the work, and clean up after the job so that you don’t even know they were there. Norm’s has a terrific crew working at this small family-owned Boulder business. While other companies price gouge you because they can, Norm’s rates are reasonable.

Norm’s provides unmatched service that’s difficult to come by these days. Extremely friendly and dependable small business folks that I’d repeatedly give my business to. Being in unincorporated Boulder county, most other companies won’t even consider making the trip (yet some still advertise on their website…) My most recent experience with Norm’s was my third and consisted of a leaking water heater. Samantha and Ernie understood the urgency to get the problem resolved and performed the job after hours to have me up and running 24 hours after the problem began. They also came in 20% less than what I had been quoted. I had spoke with another local company before hearing back from Samantha as this was an emergency that I needed addressed ASAP. The other company took all my info and was supposed to call in the morning but straight up ghosted me. Norm’s really care about their customers and I hope they continue bringing this level of excellence for years to come.

Had a bad experience with Norm's. They charge based on time and materials and they work slowly. Also, they'll charge even if they don't complete the work as agreed. Over $300 to install a faucet that didn't work!

Avoid these guys. We called them for 3 relatively simple tasks - install a faucet, disposal, and water line for ice maker. After two hours with none of the tasks completed, we asked them to leave. They still billed us for the full time and refused a refund when we complained. The next day, the job was completed by someone else in half an hour. Not competent and not customer service oriented.

I had Norm's come onsite to fix a leak from a frozen pipe which went directly to an outdoor spigot. After Norm's replaced and soldered the copper pipe we noticed the outside spigot was hard to turn on and off. We didn't pay much attention to it until we started watering our outdoor garden in May. After a few times using this spigot it eventually would not work at all. I called Norms and explained what happened after they came out and was told that they were booked up and could not come out until August which was unacceptable to me. Their solution to me was to call another plumber!! Well long story short I did call another plumber. He found bits of solder in the spigot valve right next to where Norms had soldered the pipe. The entire spigot assembly including the valve at the end had to be replaced. To add further insult Norms charged me $242 to solder a new piece of pipe. The plumber who came out to fix the mess Norms did charged me $262 for the same work done AND A COMPLETE SPIGOT ASSEMBLY. An update to my earlier review as I just received a check for 50% of the original invoice as promised. I have updated my review rating accordingly. I appreciate the response given this matter from Norm's plumbing.

Ernie and Samantha were awesome. It is hard to find experts in construction who both know their field and bring empathy and professionalism to the job. Our boiler went out Friday afternoon. Samantha returned my call, got Ernie in touch, and helped me trouble shoot through FaceTime. We ordered parts. They started work on Monday when it arrived. When we found that our boiler needed replacing, they gave us the best deal and squeezed us in to get it back working as soon as possible. When the weather turned cold this week, they came with electric heaters in case we needed them if they couldn’t finish in time. They did finish in time by staying late. This is a 3rd generation family company. And a pioneer family company. They truly care about their work. Refreshing to see!

After Norm's plumbing installed a new boiler in my house, running water from all my faucets became very noisy. Two of their plumbers were unable to identify the problem. The third call finally diagnosed the problem with a failing main water pressure regulator. I was quoted $111 for the part and 1 hour for the replacement. The part was replaced in 45 minutes. In the end I was presented with a bill for $425. After complaining the plumber immediately toke off $100 but that still is totally overpriced. The plumber told me that business is very competitive. Good - I hope I will find a more honest business next time I need work done.

I contacted Norm's plumbing to remove and replace a (3) handle bath tub fixture where I had already removed the wall covering. After emailing some photos of the old to be removed and the new fixture to be installed, Ernie quoted me a reasonable price but said he was booked for the next 5-6 weeks. Briefly after that, I got a call saying that Doug could respond in about (3) weeks. He arrived within the agreed time frame (9-10am) and did an efficient and professional job in less time than the original estimate. Therefore, the price was adjusted downward. Highly recommend this business!

Apparently Norm's is really rich with work as they do not provide estimates without just being paid. They expect you to pay time & materials at $140 per hour to just have a look at the problem. This means that I would pay $140 to learn what it would take to fix the issue. I called them based on the reviews here to have them look at a leaking pipe that is outside of the house that feeds the sprinkler. I expect free estimates with perhaps a charge for a visit that would be applied to the bill should I go forward not an open ended pay by the hour at $140.

Doug from Norm's came out a few hours after I called to say our Munchkin furnace was out. We were glad he could come because he fixed our furnace two years ago when it had a leak. We had another company we called two years ago prior to Norm's and that company did nothing to fix the problem but charged us for the visit. This time the furnace had an error code problem "FLu." He knew exactly what to do, flushed the condensate pump, cleaned it up really well and was gone. I highly recommend Norm's for your Munchkin Contender furnace.

After spending $750 with my regular plumbing business to fix my boiler- all they did was replace parts I didn't need and it still didn't work, we called Norms. Ernie discovered all it needed was a thorough cleaning to remove built up soot and black stuff all over the heating element! Works better than ever now. He actually spent time testing all the components and doing a thorough inspection. Honest, fair, smart and a pleasure to work with.

Ernie of Norm's Plumbing is the consummate professional! He installed a replacement high efficiency hot water for me in the most efficient and timely manner. Ernie informed me that according to code I needed an expansion valve which I completely forgot about. He went out, got the part and finished the job quicker than I expected. I have used Norm's Plumbing in the past and it is my go to plumber for all my work. I highly recommend them.

Really poor customer service from Donna when I had a complaint that I had received bad advice from one of their plumbers. It was more like "incomplete" advice and I'll make that concession but it ended up costing me several more visits and hundreds of dollars, and her response when I called to give feedback was defensive and argumentative. They have lost my business as a result and I will never send anyone their way.

Ernie came out and after having two different plumbers try and fix our tankless/radiant floor system he discovered a screen that was blocked within minutes of being here. Then he fixed our sprinkler system- had expertise in irrigation as well-a one stop shop:) saved a trip from sprinkler company and more costs-and such a nice relatable guy! The price reasonable as well:)
