Had an awesome experience with nexGEN. My water heater completely died on me and the owner somehow fit me in same day. I sent over a few pics of what I had, and he showed up within about four hours. He ended up staying late just to make sure everything was done and that we had hot water in time for my kids’ showers. He replaced all the valves on the water inlet and the gas line, and the whole setup looks way cleaner than before. Overall 10 out of 10, would highly recommend.

We have an odd situation with the plumbing not being up to current standards and causing a backflow into our basement through our washer floor drain when the ejector pump is triggered. With our new furnace and AC unit we noticed a lot of condensation water dripping away and triggering our ejector pump, which caused consistent floods into the basement. Abel suggested us two options. One was $7, the other was an estimated $2200 project. One was no benefit to him, and the other had all the potential of a pay day. He gave us his sound advice which benefited him in no way at the time, the $7 fix. We saved money, fixed the issue, and I now know who to call/trust.

Abel came immediately when contacted to help us solve our backed up kitchen drain. He called and gave us an estimated time of arrival which was exact! He was professional, asked all the right questions to get to the heart of the matter. He checked everything to make sure he was snaking the right area and would go far enough. He was clean and neat, protected my floor as well as under my sink. He snaked our drain and was patient about checking to make sure everything was flowing properly. I’ve called Abel at NEXGEN Plumbing & Drain for multiple projects—bathtub drain replacement with new p-trap, laundry slop sink, new water heater installation, and an exterior water spigot with new copper plumbing. Nexgen Plumbing is what one expects from a professional plumber. Very knowledgeable and professional and courteous. Work is performed in a very timely manner (with very little conversation), thusly, the technician primarily comes to work. Prior to leaving at the completion of services, the technician performed a water test for chlorine content and water texture (hard/soft). Explained work performed, per satisfaction of customer, cleaned area and left. It’s been some time since seeing this caliber of professional work; Nexgen is HIGHLY recommended.

Abel was very responsive and showed up exactly when he said he would. Quickly diagnosed the issue with my expansion tank on my hot water heater. Gave me multiple options. I chose expansion tank replacement only at this time and he had the parts on his van. He also had to replace a sensor on the water heater in order for the heater to fire up. He had our water heater back up and running within a couple of hours.
