Brian Shepard provided excellent service! He came the very next day and arrived right on time. He was professional, thorough, and took the time to show me pictures from inside the line after snaking it, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Brian and would absolutely use him again.
I had a fantastic experience with Mr. Rooter Plumbing. Brian Shepard arrived right on time, was an absolute gentleman in my home, and cleared two drains quickly, quietly, and without making a mess. He was truly a delight to work with. I’m so happy I called my friends at Mr. Rooter—Brian and Wade. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and stress-free. I will never call another plumber again. Highly recommend!
Brian was great. He was professional and efficient. Updates were given and he allowed me to check how things were going along the way. He notified me of potential future problems and made sure I got the best deal possible. I would highly recommend Mr. Rooter for all your plumbing needs.
We hire plumbers to run their auger tool to cut the roots out of our main sewer line, and always see a video of the results. We have done this preventive maintenance every 2 years, for the last 13. This time we hired Mr Rooter, you should not. In short, they agreed to cut the roots out, paid them, and the sewer line is still full of roots. They failed to do the job. In all, they are nothing more then shameless crooks. Licensed liars whose goal is to scam the consumer out of money - the proof, the after video showing us a sewer line full of roots. No damaged pipes, no brakes, no dips, no joints coming apart. Their manager said they couldn’t use the same double blade tool I’ve seen used over and over, but rather I needed to send a total of $1250 and jet-cut the roots out (400% more than 4 years ago), or for $19K have the system lined. The plumbing industry in Utah has developed a sophisticated practice of deceptive fear mongering and exploitation of the consumer, prices have skyrocketed in the last 5 years, way ahead of any inflationary measures. Mr Rooter is right up at the top with all the other crooks. Just avoid them.
Our toilet has been leaking for a while so we called them to help us find out why. Because we had fixed toilet leak before we assumed we had a bad subfloor. When the Plummer came he said our subfloor looked just fine and that all we needed was a new toilet. So we bought a new toilet at home depot for around $270. Previously we thought it was our washer that was leaking so we also bought a new washer for $700. After the plumber installed our new toilet he wanted to charge us $800. We had already spent $270 for brand new toilet and $700 for a new washer. We told them that $800 was way too much. They finally agreed to $600 for the job of installing a new toilet and a new wax ring. After a few days I noticed another leak. My neighbor came to inspect it. The tank was leaking onto the floor because they didn't tighten the tank to the base so it leaked all over the floor and onto the bathroom downstairs. We had to take the toilet off of the ring. But after tightening the tank the water continued to leak but in less quantity. We think the seal is also leaking and it leaked into my downstairs bathroom and laundry room. Downstairs ceiling was dripping water down on our heads that we had to remove the ceiling. They came to look and we found a small leak from a pipe's joint downstairs. They should have diagnosed this issue earlier instead of telling us we needed a new toilet. They did not pay us back for bad diagnosis of the problem and now we still have to reinstall the toilet ourselves and fix the leaking pipe so this post will stay up.
We recently discovered some issues with our sewer line and called Mr. Rooter for help. They responded quickly and got to the root of the problem right away. The entire team was incredibly attentive, professional, and friendly throughout the process. Not only did they do a great job, but their pricing was also very fair compared to other companies we looked into. Everything was explained clearly, and the work was completed efficiently without any hassle. We’re very happy with the service and highly recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone needing reliable plumbing help!
We were extremely pleased with Mr. Rooter’s installation of the sewer sleeve. This sewer line had been a problem for years in our older home. Their team was professional, kind, and knowledgeable about our old pipes and the continued wear and tear on them if we did not seek a more permanent repair. We are delighted with how timely it was for the team to dig out the broken pipe and place the sleeve in. Now we have two additional clean outs and a solid sewer main line! They did great and we would work with them again!
Me Rooter plumbing was excellent! Wade and his team were fantastic to work with. From the start, they provided great customer service — professional, friendly, and easy to communicate with. Wade took the time to consult with me, answer all my questions, and made sure I felt confident every step of the way. I really appreciated how smoothly everything was handled. It’s clear they care about doing right by their customers. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for honest and reliable help.
Brian Shepard was amazing to work with. After evaluating our clog, he presented options that were cost effective & efficient, the latter being more expensive. They resolved the issue which took a little longer than anticipated, but the trunk line is clean. Brian has snaked this unit multiple times before our occupation & notified us of the build-up in the cast iron pipe. He also presented us with a main line descaling option. Truly exceptional Brian! Give him a raise. Mahalo🤙🏾
Good work done right On time arrival to complete the job. Timely completion of the job .Even a follow up call. As well as a reasonable price , in a world when nothing is reasonably priced anymore. Just take egg and gasoline prices as an example of unreasonably high prices in this world . Will be calling this company for any further plumbing needs for sure . Troy the plumber did a great job so he deserves a shout out to as well. 😃😃😃😃😃
Been having issues with our old drains backing up, but Brian & Troy showed up early to help get the clogs addressed. Punctual, knowledgeable and they provided a thorough investigation into the recurring issue & offered multiple solutions. All problems have been solved & I only call Mr. Rooter for all my drainage needs because every experience with them is truly exceptional. Whoever is in charge, please give these guys a raise!! Mahalo
Brian Shepherd did an amazing job. The project took longer than expected and ended up costing more. But he explained why and gave me many options to choose from. We ended up having to replace a whole sewer line. He listed to me and understood exactly where I was coming from. I told him time and time again, I’m a very busy person with a lot of properties, but he made the job go super smoothly and handled every detail. Thanks Brian!
A fiber optic cable installation contractor damaged our sewer line when boring for the underground cable installation creating significant problems. Wade and his people at Mr. Rooter went to great lengths coordinating with the cable installation contractor to get the sewer line repaired, even working until midnight in December to get the repair done so we didn't have anymore problems. Talk about dedication to customer service!
Mr. Rooters solved our kitchen drain issue in under an hour. I had used my 25ft pipe snake in both the bathroom and kitchen drains as everything was backed up, nothing I did was working. Our tech Troy was excellent and managed to squeeze us in on a Friday afternoon. He also gave me some tips on how to best clear things and increase my water pressure in the future. Thanks Mr Rooters and Troy!!
Mr Rooter of South Salt Lake did a fantastic job cleaning out our sewer main at our home in Millcreek. We had roots growing through in several places and they ran the camera and hydrojet to clear them. They provided a video of the entire cleaned line at the end and everything looked great. Very responsive team with great communication and a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
