I had a leak in my shower and a technician came out to diagnose it. He did not open the shower handle or inspect the cartridge, and instead immediately recommended a full valve replacement requiring drywall removal, quoting over $1,000. I later got a second opinion and the issue was resolved simply by tightening the existing cartridge. I did call the company to share this, but I wanted to leave a review so others know to ask for thorough troubleshooting. I am thankful I didn’t have Mr Rooter do the repair. It would have been thousands to repair for something so small and new drywall on top of that.

Update #1 - within 20 minutes I was told they'd pay for what my AC guy has claimed damage wise thus far. My stress level, already pretty low with them, still low - moving up a star - pipe drops happen. Original (with some added detail): We're going to see how this plays out - to set the stage, I'm at about $6500 in with them for a large scale cast iron pipe replacement that finished Thursday. This was for replacing a main to within 10 feet of the sewer, roughly 58 feet to the house, under the house, hundreds of pounds of old cast iron pipe. Friday I was informed the AC was out and called my AC guy not thinking anything of anything related. It'd also been a day, but I didn't know that the tenant's had not been there that night. Monday my AC guy got here and said they'd dropped the old cast iron pipe on the air intake which crushed it, broke straps, blew out a capacitor due to no air being able to circulate, and resulted in $300+ worth of AC repair (at the moment, he's got to come back) Contacted Mr Rooter both via voice mail and email, we'll see how they want to play it. (so far very classy, they've said they'll have a check in my hand tomorrow)

I was having flooding in a flower bed. I called Friday morning and was told someone could be to my house the next day between 11&12. Sandro came out to the house. He called 30 minutes before arriving & was prompt in the time window that was given to me the day prior--arrived right at 11:15! Sandro was extremely nice, very professional, identified the problem and got the job done well! It might've been the hottest day in Tennessee in the last two years. Feels like degrees of 99! It was about a 3 to 4 hour job of digging, cutting a leaking pipe and repairing. He worked very hard on it, worked through the intense heat & had such a positive attitude the entire duration of the job! Price was fair for the time, labor & skill needed. After speaking to him about the company I learned this is a family run business and let me tell you, IT SHOWS!! They truly care about their customers and do what it takes to get the job done! Offered him water and granola bars as he worked through lunch and he was SO appreciative! I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Rooter!

I've used Mr. Rooter a few times now, the last one being a water heater replacement when my old one crapped out late last night and started leaking everywhere. Had an appointment scheduled for 12-2pm time frame; however, one tech (Drazan) had just completed a job and was able to come early. Didn't take long to run down to the shop and grab a new unit and go to town; had it all done in about an hour. They are thorough and explain what everything does as they're working on it, which is always helpful. It's been great service every time. Hopefully I won't have to need them again; but if I ever do, I know I will be well taken care of. Thanks all!

I am so pleased with Mr. Rooter Plumbing. Austin came out to my home today and fixed a pesky pipe leak. He was amazing. My appointment window was between 9 and 11. He was here at 9:00. He checked everything and discussed possible issues that could be causing constant pipe leaks in that area. He did not rush me when I asked multiple questions and showed sincere interest in my concerns. He was so easy to talk to. I'm so pleased that I'm planning to join their VIP membership program. We’re so happy to have found Mr Rooter! We just had a major issue with old pipes at our business and had 3 different plumbing companies come diagnose and give us estimates. Without going into details, Mr Rooters estimate was $17,700 less than one company and $4200 less than another AND they didn’t have to jackhammer my floors. Needless to say we chose them because they were honest, didn’t try and upsell us, had the best price, fixed it the correct way and fixed it quickly. I will never use another plumber in Nashville for my home or any of our businesses other than Mr. Rooter from now on.

We have used Mr Rooter several times, and we have designated Amir as our go-to plumber. He always is prompt, thorough and professional, and the price is always fair and reasonable. He explains what the issue is so that we can understand, and he gives us all solution options using his knowledge and experience. He answers all questions we may have, and he always treats us with respect. We respect him and trust him, and we will continue to call Amir and Mr Rooter for all of our plumbing needs. If there was a 6 star rating, this company would get it. From initial contact with a county/state dictated issue, Mr. Rooter was amazing. They firstly came in under on their bid, for the same work. Then when things didn't go correctly, they said don't worry about anything we will take care of it and make it right, no extra costs etc.... Honestly couldn't recommend this family run company more, oh yes forgot to mention you always get a family member when you call. Seriously, call them you won't regret it.

I had a blockage in the system - probably caused by kids putting paper towels down the toilet. The folks at Mr. Rooter offered to show up earlier than our scheduled appointment - but couldn't accommodate that. But seriously - when has a plumber come early? When Sandro got here, the problem had mostly resolved itself, but he was very thorough in checking everything. At the end, no charge. He said he didn't do anything! These guys are honest, and respectful, and I would totally use them again.

Mr. Rooter was very compassionate, and quick! I called they had someone out that same day. Not only that I didn’t think they would be able to repair my issue until the following week but they sent someone the very next day. My technician was Robert super cool, super informative, super professional. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing any type of plumbing services. Thank you Robert for all you did, you definitely went above and beyond.

Robert was exceptionally patient and knowledgable! I needed him for a simple project but he was smart enough to see my contractor made a serious mistake and he was able to jump on it and spend the extra time to get me situated. I had one plumber earlier this week mess up my appt time, then another completely no-show, but with 2 hrs notice Mr Rooter was gracioua enough to fit me in. 100% my plumber of choice!

You never like to wake up and see a water leak on your ceiling right before the weekend. Thankfully, Mr. Rutter’s efficient and professional company showed up first thing Monday morning and fixed everything quickly and cleanly. I’m very satisfied with their friendly, professional service and the great value for the job done. Highly recommended for any future needs!
