We called Mr Rooter because all drains in our house had become slow with occasional backups. Inspection revealed that our main interior and exterior sewer pipes were original to the house (1949) cracked, ruptured, and on the verge of catastrophic failure. We got 10 inches of snow the day before the work was scheduled and I didn't believe it was possible in such conditions. Mr Rooter proved me wrong! The work was completed on two days, despite the snow and sub-freezing temperatures outside and in the crawl space under the house. Grateful to project manager John, excavation crew Justin, Dantea & Mark, and interior crew Chris, Murat, Tony & Mark (again:-) Job well done! Highly recommended.

Excellent service! Darryl and Max did a fantastic job replacing and repairing our gas line piping and valves. They showed up on time, were very friendly, and did a thorough job explaining the repairs they made. I was very happy I called Mr. Rooter and will use them for future repairs. Thanks, guys!

Outstanding service and experience with Mr. Rooter. Kevin arrived promptly, thoroughly assessed and identified a sewer line break. Explained all options clearly. The team was on time, efficiently repaired and relined the piping, and cleaned up thoroughly. It’s worth noting that there aren’t many reviews for CIPP relining expertise. excellent quality and transparency. Their standard pricing was also very competitive and the additional services I requested were far better compared to other companies I researched. they also provided a warranty for peace of mind. Highly recommend their professional and courteous service.

We placed a service call with Mr. Rooter to address a plumbing issue in our home. On June 3, 2025, a plumber named Brandon came out to diagnose the problem. He first ran a camera through our toilet and showed me something black on the screen that he said was causing the backup. He then checked our crawl space and found a test plug on the line that had been left from when our home was built by Ryan Homes. He removed the plug and charged us $235 for that repair. After that, without us specifically requesting it, Brandon ran a camera through our exterior sewer line. He asked my husband to look at the camera footage and pointed out what he claimed was a crack in the sewer line. My husband told him he did not see what Brandon was describing. Brandon stated that rainwater could be entering the line and causing backups and emphasized that heavy rain was expected over the weekend. He created a sense of urgency and told us we needed to fix the issue immediately. He also discussed financing options. Trusting his professional opinion, we agreed to the repair, which he quoted at over $12,000. He scheduled the repair for the very next day. On June 4, 2025, Mr. Rooter dug up part of our driveway to reach the sewer line, which was approximately nine feet deep. Brandon claimed the pipe was broken at the elbow where it enters the ground. While they were digging, I went outside to take photos because we wanted to see the damaged pipe ourselves. The contractor told me to go back inside for safety reasons. While observing the open hole, I did not see any water or smell any sewage. We later asked for photos of the alleged broken pipe, but none clearly showed any damage. The first set of photos Brandon provided were blurry and pixelated, and the supposed break was not visible. This was the reason I wanted to view it in person. After the work was completed, our yard was left in poor condition. We had to call them back to return and address the damage they caused to our front yard. Based on our experience, we feel that Mr. Rooter used pressure tactics and fear based urgency to convince us to authorize an expensive repair that may not have been necessary. We believe we were charged over $12,000 for a sewer line repair that may not have been needed. We felt misled and taken advantage of. Afterward, we researched the company and found many similar complaints from other customers mentioning inflated pricing, unnecessary repairs, and high pressure sales tactics. Our next door neighbors also had a concerning experience with the same plumber, Brandon. They called Mr. Rooter for a small bathroom leak. The company tore out their living room ceiling and part of their kitchen but still could not locate the leak after two days. Brandon provided them with a $1,500 estimate to repair both their master and guest bathrooms, even though only the master bathroom had an issue. Frustrated, they hired another plumbing company, which quickly located the leak in the master bathroom. Mr. Rooter then billed their homeowner’s insurance $10,000 for the damage caused during their unsuccessful attempt. Their insurance company informed them that the charges appeared excessive. After learning about our neighbors’ experience, we became even more concerned that we had also been overcharged and pressured into unnecessary work. We strongly encourage others to be cautious and to seek second opinions before agreeing to major repairs with this company. In our experience, the pricing, sales tactics, and services provided did not feel transparent or trustworthy.

Justin and Dontea were the 2 specialist that did our major sewer work. from the beginning until the completed work, they were truly very two well trained professionals. and also John The Sales Rep. was equal as well. We were very satisfying of all the work that these men did for us from Mr router, plumbing.
