Tech was pleasant and courteous. He explained what issues were with disposal, and pointed that there was also a corroded pipe, which was leaking.

Never showed up I called twice because I had an appointment booked called me back 1.5 hours later to tell me to call another company

We called because our water heater. One of the guys called us back and said they'll be able install a brand new water heater for $2000 without even looking at it. Wow really?

Tyler and Amare (I think was his name, sorry if it's misspelled) were great! Punctual (I called and was able to get a service appt right away--and they even offered a same day appt due to a cancellation, although I was out and couldn't do it), and Tyler was nice enough to let me watch him install the parts I bought (to save some money instead of having them providing and installing the part) to try to get a little bit handier in the future. I had Tyler install the new part (fill valve/toilet flapper) in two toilets that were having running problems. The installs took about 30 mins total, and Tyler walked me through what he was doing in an easy to understand manner. Thankfully, he agreed the parts I bought would fix the problems I was having, and I would get at least 10 years out of them. The toilets are working the way they should again, all thanks to Mr. Rooter (who I was referred to by a neighbor). Price was about $200 (with a Yelp discount I found of $25) for the labor only. While it sounds expensive, it saved me likely hours of labor trying to install these parts (even though everyone swore to me it'd be fast to install--they obviously haven't met me before). I'm all about convenience over cost at this point in my life. At least I know what to do if this ever happens again--not install myself, just call Mr. Rooter.

Mr. Rooter returned to my home, today 10/28/25 at my request to do a hydro-jet cleaning the drain in my basement. Uriel arrived on time and explained to me the process involved. Due to the accumulation of matter over the years it was a bit more difficult and after using the cable (snake) to break through and then utilizing the hydro-jet he completely cleared my drain. He even had me go outside and i could hear the water and feel the air that was being emitted from the street trap/vent, the gismos that we all have in front of our homes at the curb, which indicated that my pipe was open and cleared. Having my drain hydro-jet cleaned was a new experience for this senior. My washing machine d rain hose empties directly into a pipe and not my sink as it had done prior to a change and not able to attach a lint collector on the drain hose. I asked Uriel if it would be to my benefit if I switch the drain hose to drain in the sink so that a lint collector would be attached, thereby avoid having lint accumulate in my pipes. He agreed that this would help. So -my recommendation for anyone who has drain issues or other plumbing issues call Mr. Rooter, they have friendly, courteous and helpful technicians who will resolve your problem. This senior citizen is very grateful for Uriel's excellent service.

Our experience with Mr. Rooter in Hayward has been terrible. First, they were charging us a crazy amount of money for the garbage disposal so I asked them to remove the disposal and revise the estimate. It took them a week and me calling four days in a row before they finally gave us the revised estimate. When they showed up, I asked if they could install the new toilet seat because I didn't have a screwdriver and they said they would do it for $200. I said to forget it and asked if they had a screwdriver I could borrow. Tyler said he had one in the van, but didn't bring it in to me. During lunch, they went to pick up parts for the valves to the washing machine and said they got the wrong parts so they would have to come back and returning would cost us another $300. Why? We didn't pick up the wrong parts, they did. Also, he said that he installed the toilet seat for free but on the bill they charged us $396.98 to install it. I've asked several times for them to refund that money, and I'm just getting a runaround. They still haven't returned that money to us. Next, all they did to find the leak in the bathroom was fill up the tub and drain it twice. They didn't do a dye test and they didn't look at any other reasons for there to be a leak, so there is still a leak.

Excellent job in repairing our sump pump - after hours, in the dark, between the rains, during the holiday season. It was a difficult and fairly messy job and the plumber did it well and in a reasonable time frame and cleaned up afterward. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing job. (Their price was better than the competition and the plumber from Mr. Rooter understood the job better than two other plumbers who came out to look at the job and give me a quote. The first guy admitted he did not understand how to do the replacement. The second one gave a quote that was way off (too high) because he did not really understand the job - it came in at about twice what I actually ended up having to pay Mr. Rooter. I hesitate to call the other plumber a scammer and will charitably say he did not know his business that well despite bragging about his decades doing plumbing.)

My restaurant was older than I thought. The bar pipes kept clogging and nothing that I tried work! Old pipes were corroding and everything was getting stuck! Jimmy came in and helped me snake the pipes and drain! What he found collecting in the pipes were absolutely disgusting!! I can't believe I didn't call a plumber sooner! The bar was draining like new!! He also gave me a really good quote for replacing my old toilets too and all less than few hours to be replaced! The kitchen drains were also snaked and our kitchen dishwasher area was cleaned out and running properly!! A couple of visits and everything was running like new! Quick, clean, professional and very friendly crew came and helped saved the day! Now I make sure to call on them every few months to maintain the pipes!!

due to backed up pipe from house to sewer, the downstairs toilets and bathtub backed up. ...on Easter Sunday... I contacted Mr.Rooter and had someone out about two hours later in which the technician/plumber resolved the issue. In addition to timeliness, courtesy and technical expertise they cane back out and did a full visual inspection to see the extent of the damage causing the issue... 100 year old pipes finally gave way to roots, etc. I fully extend my recommendation for Mr.Rooter if you have a plumbing issue!

Quality and prompt customer service. Was easily able to get an appointment scheduled for the next day (Saturday). The only snafu was the time scheduled (with an email confirmation) somehow switched in their system to an hour later. However after I called the local office to inquire, they were very professional and apologetic. The technician was knowledgeable and efficient with our disposal issue and was in and out within an hour.

Our toilet wouldn't flush and we needed someone to come check it out ASAP. This company did such a fantastic job from the customer service when we called and getting someone out here right away. (They even send a courtesy text when they're on the way) Chris Evans was the plumber who showed up and was AMAZING to say the least. Such a friendly and super helpful guy. I would give him 10 stars if I could!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Yes I want to thank Mr rooter for sending me those two gentlemen that installed my water heater they were kind courteous and respectful to get a fabulous job I recommend Mr rooter to most of my friends in the mobile home park I live in because you stand behind your work and you did a great job thank you so much glad I called Mr rooter and I'll recommend all my friends in the mobile home park thank you so much

We have an old house with old plumbing. The first plumbing company we called wanted to open the walls first. We then called Mr Rooter and Shayea Korin did a wonderful job replacing the faucet in our Landry room. In the Bathroom, Shayea diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and fixed the leak without opening the tiled wall. We are very pleased.
