Kyle arrived right on time, quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue efficiently. He was cordial, professional, and made the whole process easy.
Needed them for a second opinion on a shocking sewer inspection report. They were responsive, professional, and thorough with the report, providing excellent video evidence of the “issues” and saved our family thousands of dollars. Thank you Mr. Rooter!!
Our drain in the basement was stopped up for a couple days and we were able to get an appointment that fit our schedule and budget. Kyle was very professional and explained everything from beginning to end!!! We will continue to use their services.
Very nice technician that is why there’s two stars but as far as the company is ran, I am very unhappy. I was not quoted a price before the technician got to the property so when he told me it was $388 for an hour and a half I felt like OK well there’s nothing much to do but except that and that would’ve been fine except they did not find the clog and they did not finish the service making our toilet usable when I asked for part of that money back their only remedy was to come out and try again for an hour of free not going to work for me since I’m on a deadline with no toilet we looked for other matters to fix the problem. Company is not run very well. I would stay away from Mr. Rooter. Unless you want to gamble with $400.
We decided to go with another company that charged us half the price for a sump pump replacement. We had a service scheduled but we canceled it asked for a refund more then once no response this was back in July. I would rate this company a zero 😳😠 Natalie Shellehamer
We called Mr. Rooter for an emergency due to a backed-up kitchen sink, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The plumber broke our pipe while reattaching it after snaking the drain, then had no materials on hand and made a trip to the hardware store returning with the wrong parts. He even had to use our tools because he didn’t have a saw in his van. He left without fixing the sink. We had to follow up the next day. Although the plumber returned the next afternoon to complete the repair, we were still charged the full emergency rate. When we questioned the charge, we were told, “don’t use us in the future.” Unprepared technician and unprofessional customer service.
I had an emergency situation on a weekend in the evening and had no idea who to call. I went online and looked for local plumbers, and found Mr Rooter was locally owned. I happened to reach the owner who couldn't have been more courteous, genuine and empathetic to my problem. Gave me a price upfront and had a technician to my home within an hour. The man that fixed my plumbing issue was extremely knowledgeable, professional and cleaned up once he was done. I'm very thankful for Mr. Rooter and will use them in the future. Highly recommend this business for your plumbing problems.
What a great and flawless experience! Art was so sympathetic and walked us through the process. Explained the fees and the timeline. Having this issue over the weekend is horrifying but that one phone call made everything so much easier. We scheduled for Sunday with Kyle Mr. Ben text me very early in the morning to confirm everything. Just a great experience overall. Kyle did everything he knew to do to make sure that we had running water again and I could not be any happier. He did an amazing job and we will definitely be using this company for any future problems.
Very very disappointed with this company!!!!! The tech was not knowable disrespectful to my home most of all left he the job unfinished!!!!! We did speak to managed and sent him pictures of his work and the muddy mess he left on my rugs and floors!!!! The tech charged 745.00 to snake the line the manager agreeded that we were over charged.....He stated that he would speak to the owner but he never called back...we then called back and received his voice mail..I've never been so disappointed with the way this company handled our situation!!!!!
Clog removed and a few wax rings replaced. Never changed the 2 valves we asked to be replaced, because it took 3 hours to unclog the line. Seemed in an hurry to get to next job. Toilet and valve are still leaking. Employee rolling eyes and sighing audibly that he had to be there. Good guy, but I had to argue against his insistence that there were two blockages. It was just one blockage he kept pushing down the line. He admitted this at the end… Fast reaction time, but OVERPRICED. Not a good experience and would NOT recommend!!!
Last evening was the kind no one wants to have. Water backing up out of drains, toilets overflowing, and of course it was after business hours. We called Mr. Rooter not knowing what to expect. We are so glad we did. Charles Holloway was our plumber. In a word he is AWESOME. He was diligent, polite, got right to work and got tree roots out of our pipes and our lives back to normal. If I have such a day again, and I hope we don't, but if we do, I'm requesting Charles from Mr. Rooter in Mechanicsburg for sure!
Experiencing a plumbing emergency. I called Mr rooter and spoke to a very rude Julia who refused to give me an eta of a tech (rudely mind you), rudely refused to give any rough prices, rudely used my voice in a hypothetical “I’m not giving you a price so you can say ‘oh the lady on the phone quoted me this much’ “ Safe to say I’m glad I called and received this treatment up front. Will not be using Mr Rooter and would advise others to do the same. Already dealing with enough with a flooded laundry room.
I had a roto rooter guy come out for s slow drain in the kitchen. For $600 bucks he did do a snake down the drain. The he poured some stuff down the drain. He didnt make any difference in the drain at all. He offered a $1500 solution to power spray the drain. I found a local plumber who charged less than $400 to clean the whole drain all the way out to the city sewer. Roto Rooter got their $600 but i felt ripped off big-time.
We had a sewage backup in our basement on a Sunday afternoon. A friend called them for us, and they came out right away. Tyrus was friendly and went right to work. He was able to locate the issue and open things up. He then offered options to prevent this from happening again. DO NOT EVER FLUSH THE "FLUSHABLE WIPES" especially in older pipes!!! If I need plumbing services again, they will be my first call. THANK YOU!!
We had an after-hours pipe issue. After calling, we received a quote and the on-call person arrived within an hour. He fixed the problem, offered recommendations, and we paid. We were told we received a deal compared to their usual $425 after-hours rate (potentially situation-dependent). The price was reasonable, and we appreciate the service! We would work with them again.
