I called them when my water heater started leaking, and they were able to come out the very next day. Upon arrival, Greg thoroughly explained what was happening and walked me through several options, including replacing the existing tank with a similar model or upgrading to a tankless system. I’ll be candid — the quotes were not inexpensive. I didn’t have the luxury of shopping around extensively because I needed the issue resolved quickly. A brief comparison suggested the pricing may have been somewhat higher than average. That said, when I asked whether they could complete the work the same day, Greg immediately confirmed they could. Within minutes, he coordinated with his team, arranged for the selected equipment, and within about an hour they were removing the old unit and installing a brand-new tankless system. What truly stood out was their attention to detail and respect for my property. The installation area is surrounded by white carpet, and they took extra precautions to fully protect the space and keep everything clean. While the cost may be on the higher side, the same-day resolution, efficiency, professionalism, and care they demonstrated fully justified the price. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service and the outcome.

I was referred to Dr. Drain Plumbing when I tried to wash my hands and had no water to the house. After calling Dr. Drain Plumbing, I schedule an appointment for them to come as soon as possible. I received a text message that the technician Gregory Bray was on his way. Gregory dug up the area and found the large break in the pipe. One of the reasons was the pipe was never installed correctly when the house was built. The pipe was to close to the surface and then the snow came and low temps. The repairs took two days due to some issues with the glue. The new pipe was installed lowered, covered with installation and the dirt put back in the area. The crew was extremely friendly, efficient and knew exactly what they were doing. I so appreciate the amazing service! The only thing I wished is I would have asked for a senior discount (10%) which would have helped a lot with the cost. I always forget about this discount.

If you ever need anything to do with plumbing, Mr Drain are the people to call, they're Technicians that did the work for me, Grayson Crowley and Ceaser, made the job of changing out my sewer line look easy and they did a complete re-plumb and re-pipe in a 7 day's time well 1 day was for inspection which it past with flying colors. Grayson made sure that the job was done to his own strict standards, my house is old and he made sure that their work would probably outlast the house or it's occupants it definitely added value to the house, where it was lacking before, the greatest thing about these people they told you up front what the cost was going to be and there was no additional add on fees for problematic situations that arose, when you look at the work after it's done and the water pressure you have you smile and think that was money well spent. A great investment to an old home. I thank Mr Drain and Grayson Crowley and Cesar Loya for the great job they did.

Scheduled a diagnostic between 12 - 4 yesterday. I checked in at 3:45pm, but no reply and no show. I received a text out of the blue at 5:20pm saying they were on the way, which was too late for us. No reply or acknowledgement of the missed appointment was made. We all have off days, but the lack of communication indicates this may not be the most professional or reliable company. We burned a day staying in and waiting for them when we could have gotten a quote from another company.

Unreasonably overpriced!!!

No one wants to ever have to call a plumber for emergency service, but this team was excellent! Same day appointment was available the day after Easter. While the repair ended up being expensive, we felt like we were taken care of and made a priority the entire time. Given our home’s age (built in 1962), a major plumbing repair was somewhat expected. The owner, Greg, was first on the scene to take a look at our issue and later, Collin came over to do the bulk of the repairs. Everything was friendly, efficient, well-communicated, and done beautifully. Additionally, we love supporting our local Carmichael small businesses. I hope you never need them, but if you do, Mr. Drain and team were excellent.

My experience with Tony and Mr. Drain was excellent. He arrived punctually and demonstrated professionalism, extensive knowledge, and a genuine concern for resolving my drain and toilet issues. He explained the repair process clearly, making complex problems easier to understand. Honest and efficient, he worked diligently to fix the problems effectively. I would highly recommend him and his company. His timely assistance turned a stressful day into a much more manageable one. His thoughtfulness and attention to detail are greatly appreciated. Toni is undoubtedly an asset to their organization and was a tremendous help to me during a difficult situation.

Mr. Drain Plumbing in Carmichael is topnotch. Thank you to Christian and Cesar for doing a great job on replacing all the piping under my 1946 home. There were lots of old leaking pipes and poor additions over the years. I could no longer use my garbage disposal for fear of backing up my shower again athough it found another reason to clog up anyway (the last straw!) Other little quirks were fixed that had been haunting me were fixed too. They were very tidy also. Crawl space work under the house is dirty work. They did a great job of cleaning up and protecting my new patio cement resurfacing. Highly recommend!

Tony was the plumber who helped us, and he explained everything clearly, worked efficiently, and made sure the problem was fully taken care of. He also showed us pictures and videos of the entire process, which we really appreciated because it kept us informed every step of the way. Pricing was fair, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. Really appreciate the quality work and customer service—would definitely recommend!

Good morning Mr. Plumber Mgmt: Grayson Crowley and Robert were outstanding professionally oriented and customer focused technicians. They were extremely committed to attempting completion of the project within one day. However, due to the necessary layers of compacting required for backfill the project ran into two days, and they relentlessly completed the job with the same vigor they demonstrated on the first day. My compliments to Mr. Plumber for employing such dedicated technicians as I emphatically state JOB WELL DONE!

Thank you to Devin the technician who fixed my bathroom faucet and drain and got it in working condition unclogging the drain and installing additional piping and a faucet so I could have running water. Thsnk you to the management who gave a timely response to my initial concerns and all problems were resolved. I highly recommend using Mr. Drain for the knowledge base of the technicians and management who care about providing excellent customer service.

We can not say enough good things about Mr Drain. They have solved two major problems at our home and did so quickly and effectively. Christian and Cesar helped me on our first issue and Collin joined them on our second problem. They were fantastic. Their communication and work ethic were outstanding. Just nice people and very competent. I met the owner as well. My neighbors even say they will use them if they ever have a need or issue. Great company!

Collin the installation technician was very knowledgeable, courteous, and pleasant to talk to. He explained in very understandable language exactly what he was doing and answered all my questions. The installation of the new water heater looks great. Price was very competitive and invoice was exactly what was quoted. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

The home PRV (Pressure Relief Valve) failed causing far too much water pressure in our home. This could have caused damage to anything related to plumbing including copper pipes, pipe seals, water heater, toilets, dishwasher etc. Also the pipes were improperly installed when the house was built. Joseph had to replace the whole system correctly. All work was exemplary. Completed above expectations.

These guys charge WAY TOO MUCH! I requested a quote to replace a 1" water pressure regulator. It was a straight forward job to unscrew the old one and re attach a new one. It was Less than one hour job (based on how long Platinum Plus plumbing took to do the job). They wanted $2500 to do this job! I told the plumber NO WAY. Way too high a cost. I got Platinum Plus plumbing to do this for $625.
