The technician was on time early in the morning. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, took time to answer any questions. Half an hour later, we already received the quote, very impressive.

We recently had a lot of big projects done involving both plumbing and gas lines (new hot water heater, replacing old galvanized piping, installing a water softener) and between Luis, Alfredo and Brian they did a great job of talking us through our options, bundling the work as we decided to add new work to help us save costs, and scheduling the work to help us work around our schedules, our tenant's schedules, and ending state rebates for new hot water heaters. They did all of the work themselves, were responsive and efficient. We would highly recommend them.

My in-laws are in their 90s and needed a water heater replaced. Monkey Wrench quoted us $5000 which is high, but they were able to do the work almost immediately so we went with them. They did a great job with the install, and the technicians were very friendly and knowledgeable. Both bathrooms in the house have valve stems that need to be replaced in the showers, one is leaking quite badly. The technician who gave us the quote said he'd determine which stems were needed and would call us back the next day. When he failed to call, I waited a week and then I called the company. I was told that the tech was in his morning meeting and would call that afternoon. That was four days ago. I believe Monkey Wrench Plumbing is competent in their installs and friendly, but they are pricy and don't follow through with their commitments based on my limited experience with them. I do not recommend them. If I have any further interaction with them, I will update this review. New Addition: Monkey Wrench reads and responds to their reviews which I appreciate. There was some miscommunication and rather than call me back, MWP had sent me an estimate via e-mail. $5000 is a lot for a water heater, but $1000 for two shower cartridges is completely insane. To recap, they did follow through and give me an estimate, however their pricing is absolutely ridiculous. I just purchased the cartridges for $22 each, install will take me 5-10 minutes each. Plus another 5 minutes to shut off the water to the house. The estimate MWP provided for this task is exactly $1000 (I am not exaggerating this figure) and states that it includes a quantity discount. Despite their polite follow-up, I still can not recommend Monkey Wrench Plumbing with this type of pricing.

Alex Torres was the plumber that helped me with replacing old sink disposal unit and installing new one. He was professional and did the job well! Highly recommend
