I would highly recommend Monarch plumbing. Very good company quality work. Cruz came and helped me out at our house with two sinks that were clogged up. Not only did he unclog the sinks he changed out the P-trap that the last handyman installed incorrectly. Cruz does quality work and is also very respectful. He always contacted me when job was finished or if there was a little problem that he can still fix. I would highly recommend Monarch Plumbing Cruz is the man to go. I will definitely call Monarch Plumbing for future problems.

We had a fantastic experience with Jack and German from Monarch Plumbing. Jack was very prompt, professional, and quickly diagnosed the issue that had been giving us trouble in his first visit. What really stood out was his patience in explaining the problem and the solution in a way that was easy to understand. After diagnosing the problem, Jack returned promptly with German, and they both completed the repair fast and efficiently. Moreover, everything was left clean and tidy afterward. Both Jack and German were very polite, and the customer service offered by Monarch Plumbing was excellent. Highly recommend Jack, German, and Monarch Plumbing if you’re looking for quality service!

I had an excellent experience with Eli. I submitted a service request late last night, and he was at my home promptly at 8:00 AM the very next morning. Eli was extremely professional, friendly, and communicative throughout the entire process. I had a major leak in my primary bedroom that completely soaked the carpet. He performed a thorough water test and discovered that the leak was coming from inside the wall behind the shower. He opened the wall, clearly showed me where the problem was, explained what caused it, and walked me through how it was repaired. Everything was fixed properly and with great care. While he was there, I showed him a second issue in another bathroom that initially seemed minor. Eli took the time to investigate further and found underlying issues from previous work, including a loose toilet. He addressed everything the same day, came fully prepared with the necessary tools, and made sure the job was done right. What really stood out was his attention to detail and respect for my home. He left the work area extremely clean — floors were mopped and everything was tidied up before he left. Great pricing, excellent communication, and top-notch service. Eli was wonderful to work with, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and honest plumber.

Do not book with this company, I book an appt a day before and I did asked if they service my area and they said they do! They said we can be there 5 pm today but it's going to be dark and it's outside work so I asked for the next day before the huge rain is coming! They said we can come at 8 am and I said ok but you are coming from east bay so I said how about 10 am but they did not show !!! At 11:30 am i called they said oh the technician is running late he said he would call you but he did not! The office said 12:30 noon but at 1:40 the technician called and said oh we are running late , I can come at 3 pm and I said how come you only have one tech? What is point of making appointment if you do not show? I asked the office to call me but they did not call! Completely unprofessional and no customer service! If you want to be screwed, they do a good job with it messing with your day and delay your service! You will be a fool to call this company for any service! They are maybe one man company or something and I don't know how it's possible they have good review??

I am writing for a friend who did not have a good experience with this company and the employer named Jack. They called for their shower for the hot handle wasn't turning off an they were unsure if it was a valve or cartridge. He did not understand the concept of the brand of cartridge that they had which is a delta. Delta only has two cartridge for that brand, and they decided to try multiple different brands and different cartridge. Spent 4hrs at their home, saying if its the valve they will charge $1,350. Did not explain to them what the issue was at hand. Decide among themselves to tell them, they will be demolishing their bathroom to fix a valve or cartridge, they were only charging them the labor of $1,500. Told them that the valve was going to be Jack's price yet still couldn't figure out the issue . They decided to go with a different plumber, who explained everything to them in detail on what the issue was, which was the cartridge. It comes with a kit. Told them that they did not need to demolish the bathroom, and it only took him an hr to fix the cartridge, which was indeed wrong by Jack hand as he put it incorrectly and brought the wrong piece. The plumber they decided to go with, changed out everything the washer, handles, everything that was needed to be done. He was trying to charge me for supplies that he never replaced. I would not recommend Jack or this company.

Monarch, and especially Eli, are 5-star. My compliment to them is that when I had need two years later, they were the only ones I called, repeat business it was. Eli and others with Monarch clearly have expertise, and work VERY hard, and coordinate exquisitely with their Helper (Cruz) and entire team. The job was to fix a crucial toilet needed, and to diagnose and fix a LEAK. I have to believe that Eli and Monarch are superheroes at AC Water District! Reasons I got what I needed from Monarch and Eli can be organized as 1. AVAILABILITY, 2. COMMUNICATION, and 3. PROJECT PERFORMANCE BY A WORK TEAM 1. AVAILABILITY: i called Monarch. Even though Eli is in such demand that he was coordinating at least four other jobs as far away as Daly City and Alameda, he personally fixed a toilet crucial for my wife and also diagnosed and caused to be fixed a major water leak. The toilet is most necessary and he worked very hard, in tandem with Cruz, to replace a gasket between the tank and the bowl which had been preventing its use. He worked oh so hard, and they were in all ways a team. Even more importantly, even as he dealt with his own scheduling, he tracked down the substantial water leak and got his team to replace the meter-to-house link when had been shown to be the issue. Thousands of gallons per month of water was saved. In the process, I showed--by surprise--a bathtub with brownish stains to Eli. He quickly realized that might have been a need to replace the mixing faucet cartridge, and dealt with it even though it did set him back on the schedule. Eli didn't need to send his helper out to get the cartridge; he showed me nine cartridges he carried in his van, including three of the common one that my bathtub needed. I didn't, and didn't need to, push Eli to move expeditiously. It turned out that I was able to leave on a five-day work assignment of my own all because Eli and his Monarch team had completed the work. 2. COMMUNICATION: Eli is thoroughly bilingual. He kept me updated about the work plans, and worked effectively both by talking and by text messages. He coordinated strongly with his team, and even brought in skilled associates who opened up and put in pipe replacing the water line from the water meter to the shutoff valve. That pipe had to go into a trench cleansed of tree roots and under two sidewalks. Pipes had to be fitted and soldered in that line, with an electric hammer device digging and driving pipe. Importantly to many, Eli stated the costs and gave me confidence it would be fair; so I didn't need to spend much time about the costs. He created very strong value! 3. PROJECT PERFORMANCE: Eli and his team at Monarch solved a major leak problem, and also handled two interior plumbing challenges. Even as he was in demand around a wide region, it all got done on a short timeline, which happened to work out very well for me, and certainly for AC Water District.

In the services industry, there are some good apples and there are a ton of really, really bad apples. Monarch Plumbing & Rooter is one of those good applies. Let me explain. I need a burst pipe changed (non-emergency because I am able to shut down the water line to my unit and this property is not currently occupied). I asked for the earliest window on a Monday and was given a window from 8am to 9am. Wow. This is only a 1 hour window, not 2 or 4 like I'm used to. The day before, I call Monarch to verify my appointment and someone says, you're all set! At 7:57am, I'm pulling into my community and at the stop sign, I see a "Monarch" truck ahead. I'm thinking, "Wow, I'm pretty sure that's them, and right on time? Awesome!" Low and behold, it was Monarch. Eli and Hector comes out of their truck, inspects the burst pipe, gives me a quote that is in accordance with what I was told earlier, and get to work. Eli and Hector prepared where the pipe was and put mats everywhere "just in case" water splashes. They replace the old corroded flexible copper pipe with a brand new shiny stainless steel flexible pipe, get everything fixed, test everything, and tells me that they're done. Take payment, clean up, and out at around 8:50am. And when I say clean up, I mean they brought their own garbage bag to put everything away and haul it away. Eli told me he guarantees his work for 90 days and asks me if there is anything else I need. I get an invoice from Monarch in my email within 10 minutes from when they leave--I'm impressed. I'm glad I went with Monarch and Eli and Hector made this experience extremely pleasant. Kept me apprised and updated. Eli went and adjusted a copper pipe because it was in the way of something--which he didn't need to. I'm definitely using Monarch again for any plumbing services I need. Monarch services the greater bay area and I highly recommend.

Had the pleasure of contacting Monarch Plumbing for a backup that happened of course on a Sunday evening. The lady we spoke to on the phone said she would have someone contact us ASAP and we received a call from Tony and he was at our house within two hours and was able to get us back up and running. We were told it was a quick fix and that we needed to have a proper investigation to see what was going on. One week later while simultaneously showering, doing laundry and running the dishwasher I noticed water coming up from the toilet and backing up into our utility sink as well as one of our shower stalls, immediately called monarch back and Cruz came out , right away he was able to go under our house and check things out and got us up and running again for the short term and recommended we have a camera go under the house to diagnose potential problems, which we decided to do. Both guys came out again with all their equipment and we ended up having a corroded hole in one of our pipes as well as some other issues going on which they were able to fix that evening. I gotta tell you these guys were so nice,professional & courteous and went out of their way to diagnose, communicate and fix this immediate problem. To make a long story short, we ended up having them come out and replace our sewer line. Mind you our home was built in 1952 so we knew we were on borrowed time. The crew showed up punctually and worked their butts off continuously and were able to finish the job in one day! Tony provided me with updates throughout the day in regards to the process and explained everything to where I could understand it. The whole crew was so professional and kept such a clean organized job site and just really worked like a well oiled machine. I cannot say enough praise about Monarch Plumbing and their level of expertise I highly recommend them.

He explained the various options that were available to fix the problems and sent an estimate that outlined the various work that they could do as well as combining multiple repairs with the sink and installing a garbage disposal that I wanted replaced. After selecting the scope of work option and letting Jack know his team came out the next day to start working. When his team came out they smelled gas outside of our house and Jack immediately called me. I called PGE and they came out to check the situation and found a gas line had a leak on the side of the house where a tree had been recently removed. Jack and his team (Jack, Jose, Manuel, Hector, and Jose) were quick and professional with all plumbing issues and did fantastic work. They then also sent me an estimate for the repair/replacement of the gas line which they also repaired. The communication, professionalism, and quality of work that Monarch Plumbing, Jack and his team gave were all absolutely top notch-5 stars. We can't recommend them enough and in the event we ever have work that falls into their scope we will definitely do business with them again. Thank you Monarch Plumbing and Jack!

We had Toni and Kelvin come to our house to remove three toilets and install three smart toilets, and it was honestly one of the easiest and smoothest service experiences I’ve had. Toni was great with communication from the start. He called when he was on his way, let me know there had been an accident and he’d be running a little late (totally understandable), and then called again when he was about 10 minutes away so I had time to run home from work to let them in. Toni and Kelvin worked incredibly well together and were very efficient. They removed and installed all three toilets in about 4.5 hours. I originally thought the job would take the entire day, but they were finished by 1:30 PM! The price was also unbeatable, we had other companies quote nearly three times as much for the same work and made it so confusing. I was also impressed with how easily they handled the installation logistics. Two of the smart toilets weighed around 110 lbs each and had to be carried upstairs, and they handled it with no issue at all. The third was downstairs and everything was installed smoothly. Once everything was finished, they walked me through the toilets and made sure everything was working properly. Toni also took a look at a small issue we were having with our shower, gave us a quote, and we’ll definitely be booking them again for that repair. Another thing I really appreciated was how clean and organized they were throughout the whole process. Super professional, efficient, and trustworthy. I literally never write reviews but I had to this time and We’ll absolutely be using Toni and Kelvin again for any future plumbing work. Highly recommend!

We hired Monarch Plumbing Inc. located in Hayward, for our home in Concord. The main reason we considered Monarch, even though they weren't exactly local, were the rave reviews we read from other delighted customers. We were especially impressed with their team leader "Eli" who kept us clearly informed, every step of the process. We had multiple sewer & drainage problems, that needed serious attention. Monarch worked with the City of Concord regarding the strengent bldg. permit process & kept us up to date at every juncture. They rebuilt our kitchen sinks drainage & disposal system, replaced collapsed pipes under our foundation AND installed a new Trench-less Sewer Line (60ft.) from the home & connected it with the cities main line. This project required permits & multiple inspections by City of Concord staff. The project took only 3 days to complete & we couldn't be more thrilled with the work completed. The only thing that remains, is some minor kitchen cabinet repairs, that were not included in the scope of work to be done. Eli & his team are efficient with their time & professionals you can trust. They provided a 5 page detailed description of the proposed work & provided numerous photos of all that was accomplished. We are thrilled we chose them & highly recommend their services to others. I do not want to sound cliché or as if I'm giving too much credit just to be doing it. But I have to take the time to share the wonderful encounter my family and I had with a young man named Jack from Monarch Plumbing. His professionalism, and transparency leads me to believe that this may just be the culture at this company. My family and I sat through an estimation from another professional earlier that day as our toilets were just filled with mess. Then here comes Jack, gracious, kind, and with that sense of "I am here to help...not get rich"!!! Honestly folks, "How can WE help you today!" He got to work, he estimated that the price would be fair and in accordance to the work that must be done to solve the problem; And that's exactly what he did. 2 times less than the other estimate and swift and effective job. PROBLEM SOLVED FOLKS!!! AND THIS YOUNG MAN CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF, HANDS AND KNEES, LYSOL AND THE WORKS!!! LASTLY, TO WHOMEVER IS HIS SUPERVISOR...THIS YOUNG MAN EVEN WENT AS FAR TO SHARE THE GREAT JOY HE FEELS WORKING FOR A COMPANY THAT IS TRAINING HIM UP AND TEACHING HIM HOW TO BE A BETTER PLUMBER, AND BETTER PERSON. EVEN OUTREACH...LOL. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT, SHARING THE COMPANIES MISSION AND DESIRE TO HIRE FOLKS. HAPPY CUSTOMERS!!!! THANK YOU JACK AND MONARCH!!!!!

12/19/25 Called around 8:00am as I was having an issue with my kitchen sink area not draining properly. Monarch advertised a $77 dollar snake fee, which sounded extremely reasonable. Monarch said they could have someone out between 12-1 today. I said great, then received a call from Jack asking if he could come early!!! :-) I said GREAT and he arrived 22 minutes later just like he said, just after 11:00am. Jack did an AWESOME job locating my blockage, had me back in business in no time. Then offered to do an inspection while he was here, I know this just keeps on getting better. Jack scoped my main line with a camera and explained what he was seeing the entire time. I could not be happier with my first experience with Monarch Plumbing or with the incredible professional young man they sent out. Oh, and my cost, $77 dollars just like they advertised. It's nice to see there's still companies out there that believe in good old fashion service and hire the right people for the job... Well done today Monarch Plumbing and Jack!!!

This review is more for Tony the plumber that saved me last night!! I had a new washer delivered that drained much faster than my old machine and was causing the standpipe to backfill and overflow water everywhere. I called Monarch at 645pm and within an hour Tony arrived to save the day!! He took his time to understand what the issue was and explained it to me in detail. He snaked the pipe and cleared it from debris, fabric and gunk that was clogging the standpipe. He snaked it two times to make sure it was completely cleared! He was absolutely amazing! Super knowledgeable and literally saved me a bunch of money from having to return what I thought might have been a defective washer but was actually my pipe. Pricing was super reasonable and he made sure that the problem was fixed and took care of me! Tony, thank you so very much! You are absolutely the best!!! Highly recommend this company and Tony as the assigned plumber! I can't thank you enough!! Will absolutely ask for Tony again to handle my old pipes!!
