Josh did a great job with our water heater! He gave us a fair price and the product was excellent. More importantly, when there was a small issue nine months later and we reached out to him, he got back with us that night and was at our house early the next morning where he promptly fixed the problem. We highly recommend Josh to anyone looking for a plumber!

I got a quick response from Josh after my initial outreach. He came in the next day and saw a major issue with a badly leaking pipe that he able to fix within a few hours. He explained everything that was going on, kept me informed of how my system was set up, and set up a better system for our home.

Josh came out and said that he didn't know what the problem was but would charge me $975 for the first 2.5 hours and then $300/hour after. He saw someone in a desperate situation and tried to take advantage. 2 stars for showing up when he said that he would. Edited to add: After writing this review, this guy wrote a bad review on my business page about my plumbing problem and my office smelling like sewage. Michael and Sons is currently in the building taking care of it. He also remarked about us not having a licensed physician which we do. I feel unsafe with this unhinged guy. I would stay far away. You do not want this guy in your house or around your family.

First, I never want to contract or hire any other plumber to do work on my home other than Josh of Mint Plumbing, LLC from here on out. He is the hands-down best plumber my family has ever experienced. Second, I have never been happier to leave a review for a business because it has taken me years to finally find a trustworthy licensed, insured and bonded plumber whose work is not only excellent but above and beyond the absolute best. Prior to hiring Josh, I have hired technicians from big businesses who charge a hefty premium for supposed premium quality work except that in actuality the work was inconsistent and at times subpar. I took a chance in contacting Josh based on his reviews that were detailed and helpful and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I initially contacted Josh because I wanted a second opinion on a repair entailing a damaged sewer pipe that caused a backup and flood into my basement. I felt uneasy with the first diagnosis of another company and when I left a voicemail for Josh to see if he was willing to take a look at it, he responded back to me very promptly and was able to come over to inspect the issue shortly after the call. His assessment was far more thorough and detailed and his estimate for the repair and labor was extremely fair. I already felt much more confident after talking with and meeting him for the inspection and contracted him on the spot. The labor entailed having to dig at least 6-8 feet underground to access the problem with the sewer pipe and he documented every part of the process and explained each step with meticulous detail. His communication throughout the entire situation was consistent, professional, thorough and extremely informative. He provided a wealth of information that no other plumber or repair technician has ever been willing to detail and share. I cannot emphasize how much valuable information and lessons were learned from his knowledge. His work on the repair itself and every little detail involved even including the clean up was above and beyond excellent, meticulous, efficient and thorough. Like I previously mentioned, there is no other plumber I would ever want to contract other than Josh. If you have been like me and seem to go through various companies to no avail to find that one plumber who will do honest and excellent work that you can feel safe, secure and confident with, look no further. I cannot express how huge it is to finally have found that rarity of a trustworthy plumber who is the best. What a tremendous relief.

This review may be a bit lengthy, but the key takeaway is that Josh is an exceptional professional who managed to resolve issues that had stumped several (5) other plumbers. When my Navien boiler heater combi started acting up and displaying an error code two weeks ago, I had five plumbers from both large and small companies come out over the course of ten days. Unfortunately, they either gave up or provided incorrect diagnoses. This left my family without hot water and heat for an extended period, and I was on the verge of considering a complete replacement of the Navien system. However, my frustration turned to hope when I came across Mint Plumbing and reached out to Josh. Despite initial reservations due to his limited online presence, with just 21 reviews on Google and a limited website, Josh was the “right” guy for the job. He arrived promptly on Friday morning and conducted a thorough troubleshooting session, accurately pinpointing the problem. It took him the entire day to replace a pipe and drain the system, but by the end of the day, the Navien system was up and running again. Though the system encountered a different error code after a while, Josh didn't leave me hanging. He returned the following day, Saturday at 9:30 AM, and efficiently resolved the new issue. To ensure the system's reliability under high demand, he also performed a stress test for a couple of hours. So far, everything seems to be working well, and I have the confidence that if any issues arise in the future, Josh will be able to promptly address them.

As a property manager, it is hard to find good subcontractors and I need to say I have found one of the best plumbers out there that I have worked with in my field of over 35 years. I have had several emergency calls and surgical centers that need to be absolutely sterilized. He has come in and done work. You could never tell that he was there, and it was always cleaner when he left from his arrival. He has helped me do everything from installing new fixtures, plumbing and even a major leak on a 2 inch main hotline for an entire building, he had it so much patched to help slow the water leak down until we could shut the building totally down and drain it. He was absolutely fantastic and doing this. His prices are always extremely reasonable and sometimes I scratch my head on the price on a couple of occasions , I thought the price was way too low from my past experience dealing with other contractors. He’s extremely honest and will explain things to you. You cannot find a better man than him. I trust him and don’t need to stand over him while he’s doing his job because I know it’ll be right when he is done with no cut corners which is strange and today’s time. I hope this help people realize on when you find somebody good you hold onto them so I definitely recommending him for anybody that needs plumbing work larger small and I would like to thank him personally for all of his hard work , and responding quickly to all emergency calls that I’ve had to place with him and his timing.

You can’t go wrong with Josh and Mint Plumbing. Extremely detail oriented. Extremely professional. He solves plumbing problems the first time! Just call him and get on the schedule. Josh fixed a crappy plumbing job that my original installer did and added a couple of vibration damping/anti hammer attractors. And my problem is solved! I think it’s beautiful too!? ___________ I had Josh come out a second time to look at a new vibration issue and it turns out the water pressure adjustment valve was the culprit. It provided 65lbs/in2 and was not adjustable. My shower DTV control has a rating of 45lb/in2 MAX and the higher pressure was the cause of the knocking. Josh arrived and had a sense that this may be the issue and even brought a new pressure adjustment valve. We tested everything first and then replaced the adjustment valve. Everything is working once again! So nice to have someone with as much experience as Josh to know ahead of time what the issue might be. You don't find people like this everywhere!

We used Josh for two services: 1. a gas leak behind our gas dryer, and 2. a sewer pipe repair. On both occasions, which were emergency issues due to actively leaking gas and leaking sewer water, Josh showed up immediately to help diagnose the issues and quickly outline a plan to repair them. For the gas leak, he explained exactly what the issue was, showed us the problems, repaired it, and gave us a ton of advice for how to identify future gas leaks. For the sewer pipe repair, a piece of the sewer pipe that runs inside of our house was cracked and actively leaking. He identified the issue right away, removed about 7 feet of a cracked sewer pipe, and installed a new sewer pipe in the area. He even gave us advice for fixing the drywall that had to be removed to get to the pipe. Overall, he provided a wealth of information to us that I don't think we would have gotten from any other plumber. Highly recommend Josh for any plumbing or gas fitting issues you may have.

I have used Mint Plumbing on several repairs and I am glad that I did. Not only did Josh arrive on time but he did a great job. He replaced multiple sink faucets without any issues. He installed multiple new shut off values and main shut off levers under my kitchen sink. He extended the pipes so I can reach them. I trust Josh. He is an honest, hardworking, reliable and dedicated professional. Trust me you will be happy you called him. I just hired Josh again: had Josh come over for what I thought was a 1day job. It turned out to take 4 days. I live in a Condo and had no water in my bathroom and I have only one bathroom. Josh cancelled other jobs and fit me into his tight schedule. By Thursday evening I had my bathroom back and it was great. I trust Josh and so should you. He is a hardworking, dedicated, and honest professional. Give him a call and you will be happy.

Josh is meticulous and takes pride in his work. His plumbing skills are apparent based on the quality valve, pipe and project consultation when it comes to remodeling bathrooms and adding safety to our heating system. Moreover, Josh is knowledgeable about hydronic/water heating systems and the different work associated with new builds. Josh will give you the best advice, outcomes and work that you can admire. Based on WSSC's inspection we required replacement of all valves, including pressure valve, and water pipe starting at main shutoff valve. Josh did a complete on site assessment prior to providing a fair and reasonable estimate. On the date of the work he kept us informed of his specific arrival time and completed the job expertly and professionally, while taking the time to test and QC all faucets and walk us through exactly what he'd done and how to observe and address any unforeseen issues. We used Josh for installation of our hot water heater and I have to say he did a great job. Very meticulous and very concerned about the details in his work. He came out on a Sunday and worked all day because we had gotten home from vacation to a wet basement. There was a defective pilot after he installed the 325 lb water heater. He started the claim with the company and the part was at my house 2 days later and he came out and installed it as soon as it got here. He is a top notch, professional plumber who went above and beyond! I would highly recommend Josh and will use him in the future!!!

I'm fairly handy, I've replaced sinks, toilets, shower heads, and drains, unglogged drains, re-pipped PVC, etc.... However, having said that sometimes I don't have the right tools or the learning curve is too steep for the time I have so I'll go to a professional. I've used Mint twice, for the install of a new reverse osmosis filtering system and for a new kitchen faucet install to solve some corrosion problems on the existing plumbing. Tech arrived ahead of time in both instances and completed job way faster than I could have at competitive rates. Would highly recommend and will use again.
