Mike Counsil Plumbing provided excellent service. From the start, all the information was clearly explained, including the issue, the process, and the solution. The technician, Hugo Perez Dominguez, was professional, knowledgeable, and very efficient. He completed the repair quickly, answered all questions thoroughly, and made sure the work area was left clean and organized. I especially appreciated that the issue was resolved the same day. The technician, Victoria Cedillo, did an excellent job in changing our toilet bowl. Initially I called for an appointment because a small bottle of face cream fell into our toilet thus clogging it. Victoria explained that she’ll first auger it and if that does’nt work she’ll try some other options. It turns out that the object can’t be taken out so we have to get a new toilet. She help us select the model we want and she charged us only for the installation and the cost of the toilet. This was a pleasant surprise as she spent more than four hours trying to solve the original problem. She was very pleasant to work with and she left the premises very clean. Overall this was a very satisfying experience with Mike Counsil Plumbing. Jason Gomez unclogged our wash basin yesterday. Jason is very professional, courteous, and spent so many hours to have the problem fixed. His supervisor, Lonnie Phillips was also on hand to give advice, Today another technician, Francisco, replaced our pressure regulator and installed an expansion tank in our water heater. He was also very professional and courteous and like Jason left the premises clean. Overall I’m very satisfied with the services they rendered. In the past I have done business with four other plumbing companies and I would say that Mike Counsil is the best, I highly recommend this company to anyone who has plumbing problems. Today, JJ Cabrera fixed our bathtub drain. He did an excellent job and finished it in a timely manner. He explained very well what he was doing and assured me that he will be very careful not to damage the radiant heating pipes while drilling the concrete floor. He cleaned the work area very well before leaving our house. I recommend Mike Counsil Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. We have a major problem with our sewer plumbing which required substantial repair work. I called Mike Counsil Plumbing as I often call them in the past. Matthew Sidener supervised and coordinated the whole job. He’s very competent and explained the details of the work to be done. His performance is outstanding. We are away when the most of the work was done. We went home to the Philippines because of an emergency with our family. Matthew work well with my son and he resolved all our concerns like inspection, testing the radiant heating after their work was done. I’m also impressed that the plumbers always kept the house clean and tidy after their work is done for the day. I’m happy with Matthew Sidener and all the plumbers of Mike Counsil. My first time with Mike Counsil Plumbing. Hugo was on time; focused; friendly; professional; knowledgeable, skilled and experienced; got to the problem; explained all steps on how he arrived at the potential solutions and what he recommended. Excellent customer service skills. Quickly scheduled a f/u appt. to resolve the issue. Very happy with Hugo! Met all expectations. He does business the way it should be conducted. Thank you!! Next day now. Hugo & Alexis here to pull the toilet & run the camera through our long sewer line. Clear of virtually all usual debris, yet cracks in the 76 year old sewer line along with roots and a displacement between 2 sections. Need to replace the line & install 2 new cleanouts, one just outside our house in the back & the other at the bottom of our hill before the County main line. We'll be replacing it all with a 40 year guarantee with state of the art flexible plastic pipe through the middle of the old breakable line. They will start process tomorrow morning and complete it in a few days, excepting the County permitting process. Competitively priced with best process & materials. So far, very good. Both Hugo & Alexis have been exceptional. All our questions answered and the entire process and administrative details reviewed. We're ready to move forward. The entire job is now complete; we have the signed permits; the technicians were always here on time with no delays; they always respected our landscape plants & bushes; the technology they used to install the new sewer is state of the art with a 40 year guarantee; Rafael (Rafa) was the lead technician who coordinated the entire process. He was exceptional in working with us and the crew, responding immediately to questions & clarification we needed answers to. Mike Counsil Plumbing is fortunate to have Rafa, and so we're we. I recently returned from Spain to find water pooled in my front yard. And within two days I received a $700+ monthly water bill. I called Mike Counsil solely because of their Diamond certification and their posted customer reviews. That same day I had Hugo at my house who immediately identified the problem, a faulty manifold for the outdoor watering system. Hugo estimated it would take 2 hours to repair and provided an estimate. The very next morning Alexis arrived. He spent four hours completing all the repairs. The rain did not stop him at any point. Here's the bottom line. I just returned from visiting the Pablo Picasso Museum, the Salvador Dali Museum, and the Fundacio Joan Miro Museum in Spain. And I honestly believe that Alexis' plumbing repair was a work of a master. After he was done, I asked how many more jobs he had that day. The answer was three. I replied that his commitment to doing the best job possible without regard to schedule pressures was the best compliment I could give him as a master artisan. I lied at the time. The best compliment I could give was writing this review.

We’ve had these guys out twice now, and my husband and I both give them five stars! Would give more if possible. The first time we had them was when our contractors had, once again, left the connection to the city mains leaking. First company wanted to take out our existing lines and replace them for more than 20K. I decided a second opinion was in order. Called these guys and they fixed the connections between the house and the line for 1,588. Quite a big difference! And not a single problem with the work! Recently our bathroom sink was backing up. We decided to call these guys again and were not disappointed! I cannot say how highly recommended this company and its employees are recommended! The problem was cleared in seconds and the rep would not charge us! Can’t beat that!! Thank you Mike Counsil for running a great business with honest and knowledgeable employees! We are clients for as long as we are living here!!

While working on a simple cartridge replacement for the Delta faucet in our kitchen, I attempted to shut the water off under the sink and the old, corroded hot water valve started leaking. This was on a Friday in the early afternoon, and so much water was flowing from the leak that I realized I couldn't wait until Monday to have it fixed. The folks at Mike Counsil were able to send a repair person over later that same day. Hugo Dominguez came out first, assessed the work and lined up Pablo Segovia, Jr. to make the repairs. The whole process, from my initial call to the finished work took less than three hours. Everyone I dealt with was courteous, professional, and personable. Because we had guests arriving for dinner at 6pm, they truly saved the day, finishing the work before my requested time of 5:30pm. For a plumbing emergency, I highly recommend Mike Counsil Plumbing and Rooter.

Contacted MC plumbing for leak detection. somebody came out next day. ( i didn't call until mid afternoon). Great communication between MC regarding eta. Actually was able to come earlier. Juan was the technician. He explained costs and systems they used for leaks. We went over paperwork for authorization. My brother happened to mention an issue with his toilet. Juan ran a couple tests and went to take a look and sure enough that was it! So glad I paid attention to those green 💚 trucks. I highly recommend UPDATE... I want to give a shout out to Patrick Miller. He guided us through the process of additional necessary repairs with care and compassion. This guy knows plumbing and his job. We never felt pressured. He offered us options to help the decision making. Also thanks to Nestor and his crew. Such attention to detail ( every step of the way).

2 years ago I had Mike Counsil replace my softener, they did a great job. I had them come back out a few months ago and replace the filter and see about adding a leak detection system to my water intake. They also found compromised copper pipes and we discussed fixing that and adding an earthquake shut-off valve on my gas meter. All this might seem like overkill to some, but to me it was all very important to do. Rudy and Israel came out and did all the work, they were so professional and you knew they took pride in what they were doing. They kept me posted on everything that they were doing. Rudy was great, helpful and cared that I was happy with all that was done. I chose this company because they are diamond certified and they lived up to that in all my dealings with them.

Mike Counsil Plumbing did an amazing job with several projects at our home. We had our old cast iron sewer removed, new gas lines and shutoff valves installed and other general repairs on aging plumbing. The team was very professional and protected the home furnishing from damage. Each day they cleaned up so there was no disruption in our daily activities. The crew was very nice and polite. We were promptly notified when technicians were in route and arrived. The price is higher with Mike Counsil and they disclose that at the beginning. However you get what you pay for. Great workmanship and superior warranty. If you have a job that needs to be done right, on time and highest quality, this is the company to use. Definitely would recommend

Our hot water heater went out over a weekend. We have a large power vent hot water heater located in our basement. Bobby came out right away , did the assessment and scheduled our work. It was going to take a day to get the water heater we needed, Joseph and his crew showed up the next morning and worked all day to replace the water heater and reconfigure our recirculating pump which had been incorrectly installed by a previous contractor and had not worked correctly since installation. Joseph and his crew were professional, efficient and left the work area spotless. Joseph scheduled and handled the city inspection a few weeks later. Top of the line service from beginning to end!

Nestor and his team installed a Moen whole house water shutoff valve required by my insurance company. Because the main water inlet line was under the concrete pad, they had to cut through garage walls to reroute the water line, and patch the the sheetrock afterwards. It was a big job taking several days. The technicians were polite, explained everything at every step, cleaned up everything. I was impressed by their knowledge and enjoyed dealing with them. Kind and professional guys who did great work. Jaun came to give me the quote and he made sure I was well informed before signing the quote. I took over the account for my parents and he made sure to explain all the services they can help with on the house and what my dad's membership offered.
