What To Watch Out For

One reviewer rated 3/5 and called pricing expensive for minor work — $300 to tighten a toilet, $200 for two sink stoppers, $130 to caulk a shower — suggesting smaller handyman-type jobs may not be cost-effective with this company

Midwest Plumbing has been great in helping us fix a leak that came out of nowhere. They were super responsive, scheduled an appointment quickly, and were very friendly. We had multiple issues causing the leak and they solved each one quickly. Would highly recommend their services!

I had a great experience with Midwest Plumbing Co. LLC. If you’re looking for a reliable, professional plumbing company in Arvada, this is the one to call! They showed up on time, diagnosed the issue quickly, and explained everything clearly before starting the repair. The pricing was fair and transparent, and the quality of work was excellent! He handled my plumbing repair efficiently and left everything clean when he was done. It’s hard to find an honest, dependable plumber, but this company definitely delivers! I highly recommend them for plumbing services, whether you need leak repairs, drain cleaning, fixture installation, or general plumbing work. I will absolutely use them again for any future plumbing needs.

I had a great experience working with James and Kalie. From the start, communication was clear and professional, and they showed up on time ready to work. The job itself was done efficiently and with real attention to detail — no shortcuts, no rushing. They took the time to explain what was going on, walked me through my options, and made sure everything was done right before wrapping up. Pricing was fair and transparent, and the quality of work gave me total peace of mind. It’s hard to find someone reliable and skilled these days, but this was one of those rare stress-free experiences. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Short version: excellent workmanship, fast service, best price. I would hire them again and would recommend Midwest Plumbing Co to my friends and family. Long version: I am completely gutting and renovating my basement. I didn’t feel comfortable laying out the under slab plumbing. My plan was inefficient and I was concerned about getting all the code nuances correct. I decided to hire a licensed plumber to figure out my underslab rough in. I solicited quotes from most plumbing companies that service the Denver metro area that had good reviews on Google. Midwest Plumbing was the most reasonably priced and had the best ideas. James made me feel comfortable that he could get the job done right and in the time frame I needed. Midwest Plumbing exceeded my expectations. Not only are they great plumbers but they nail the customer service aspect of the business too. The main floor toilets/sinks/showers could not be used while the basement plumbing was being installed. James came over after hours at no charge to get my plumbing hooked back up and family back in the house sooner than expected after the plumbing inspector approved the work and I could take the new under slab sewer lines off pressure test. My house is old and of course there were the “normal” amount of unexpected issues encountered when Midwest Plumbing was tying in the new plumbing to the existing plumbing. They had practical solutions to the problems encountered and communicated clearly and professionally during the entire process. I’ve worked alongside a lot of plumbers - these guys are among the best I’ve encountered. True professionals.

I don’t know what kind of wizardry Midwest Plumbing is practicing, but James might just be the Gandalf of plumbing. I called them expecting a simple job—just running a supply line and drain for my washer—but what I got was a full-blown plumbing odyssey. James arrived in a truck that I can only assume is powered by sheer confidence and decades of plumbing wisdom. He took one look at my setup, stroked his chin like a wise sage, and got to work. Pipes were installed with the precision of a master sculptor, the washer now drains like it’s been blessed by Poseidon himself, and my water pressure? Let’s just say my shower now feels like a gentle but authoritative waterfall. But that’s not all. When I casually mentioned some well pump issues, James didn’t hesitate. He diagnosed the problem with the intensity of a detective on the verge of cracking a case, and within no time, my well pump was running smoother than ever. I half expected him to throw down a smoke bomb and disappear into the night when he finished, but instead, he just shook my hand, gave me a knowing nod, and drove off—probably to save another household from plumbing despair. If you need plumbing work done, don’t waste your time with amateurs. Call Midwest Plumbing and ask for James. Just be prepared—your life may never be the same.

I want to give an honest review for someone like me who is a single homeowner and relatively handy, but may have some sticker shock thinking “I maybe could have done this myself for cheaper.” James came out to address a leaking spigot and confirmed only the hosebib itself needed to be rebuilt/replaced and not the larger piping itself. I realized through the repair process you’re not just paying for the labor and part of something. James was able to do a root cause to ensure the leak wasn’t a larger issue, pull out and reviewed with me pictures he took of connected piping that could lead to issues later as it’s starting to corrode, discussed with me how to mitigate this, and confirmed what I would see to indicate a larger issue had popped up, so I can be aware and act quickly. He was professional, didn’t push me or upsell me, and was quick and thorough. I’m happy I called Midwest Plumbing because ultimately you’re paying for someone understanding the root cause, their knowledge, and peace of mind something was done correctly. When it comes to potential water seeping into my house, that’s worth the cost of getting it right.

Midwest Plumbing is fantastic. They’re a local Colorado business run by truly kind, honest people. I needed a new water heater and got quotes from three companies. With two of them, I was routed through call centers, but not with Midwest. Their number goes straight to James, the plumber who actually does the work. James is smart, helpful, and incredibly thorough. After speaking with him, I immediately felt more at ease. He was upfront about pricing - which was lower than the two bigger “name brand” companies, and he was able to install the water heater the same day. He even noticed things the others didn’t mention, like how our Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve wasn’t gravity fed - so he fixed that. It is obvious that Midwest cares, and I am so thankful for their hardworking team of two. Save yourself the trouble of calling Cooper Heating and Plumbing or Benjamin Franklin. I highly recommend Midwest Plumbing for any plumbing needs.

If you are looking for a professional, reliable, honest and quality plumbing job done, contact James and Team at Midwest Plumbing. This team went ABOVE and BEYOND to fix a major water leak as well as to diagnose and fix the many plumbing issues we had. James kept us updated consistently throughout the entire process and was able to answer all the questions we had, making us feel comfortable and confident we picked the right team for the task at hand. This team worked quickly, efficiently and cleaned up their work areas. James and Team made sure the job was done to our satisfaction and maintained a very polished and professional demeanor which we really appreciated! Highly recommended!

James is not only a super knowledgeable and efficient plumbe, he's also a nice person and great communicator. He fixed our plumbing issues and gave us options for different price points with helpful suggestions on how to approach the project and came back the next day to fix something he hadn't even directly worked on that caused a leak in the same area free of additional charge. His prices are clear, upfront and reasonable. He also helped identify a future issue with our water heater that we were unaware of and are glad to be prepared to handle now. I highly recommend Midwest Plumbing and am happy to have them as our go-to plumber!

This company is hands down the best! Great communication and follow-up overall with friendly and respectful staff. Kale took the time to investigate every possible problem area involved in our current issue and explain all of what he was seeing. He also was able to give us a solid recommendation for how to address what was going on, even though it didn't end up being a plumbing issue. To top it all off, he didn't even charge us because it didn't end up being a plumbing issue, which I totally did not expect. He went above and beyond! We are Midwest Plumbing customers for life!

He responded the same day to address what ultimately turned out to be user error. While on site, he proactively identified a separate potential issue and spent considerable time investigating possible causes. He offered clear guidance and advice, did not charge for the visit, and did not attempt to recommend or upsell any unnecessary work. He also explained what to expect if the issue progresses and advised me to contact him for a follow-up evaluation should it become more significant. Highly recommended

I would highly recommend Midwest Plumbing! James was super knowledgeable and easy to work with. He was able to give me an estimate over the phone, which was actually what he charged, and came out the same day I called! Other plumbers that I called didn’t seem interested in doing my small job or wanted to charge a service fee just to provide an estimate. I very much appreciated Midwest Plumbings professionalism and customer service and they even did a free assessment of all my plumbing fixtures!

Midwest Plumbing is the best plumber in the Denver metro area. James and Kaile are incredibly professional, provide exceptional advice, and will always produce top notch results. We have had them over several times to check out plumbing issues, and it has always been a great experience. Anything that falls outside of their scope of work, you can rest assured that they’ll have a reference that you can trust. If you are looking for a plumber, hire Midwest Plumbing. You will not be disappointed.

After receiving multiple quotes from the big name plumbing companies for replacing our hot water heater I can’t express how lucky we were in finding James and his company. Unlike the others who quoted ridiculously high prices and then tried to get us to negotiate, James was totally transparent and honest about his services. He showed up exactly as scheduled and had our new heater installed within one hour. And , according to my wife, was hilarious. Total Pro! Thank You! Reed

James and Kaile at Midwest Plumbing are absolutely fantastic. They came out literally 30 minutes after I called with a high priority situation, put me at ease, and fixed everything right away. This was a situation where I just had a new tenant move in who noticed water puddling so needless to say was stressful. They were also veryyyy reasonably priced all things considered. I would highly recommend this company! Thanks again!
