We recently had an outstanding experience with Roberto from the Sterling office. Our water heater needed servicing (and ultimately replacing). Roberto was knowledgeable, thorough, communicative and respectful of our home and pets. He went above and beyond to ensure that all issues were satisfactorily resolved. We would definitely recommend Roberto and give more than 5 stars if we could!

George did an excellent job! He arrived promptly on time, and detailed, (very thoroughly), his objective for the day. His primary purpose was to advise us on the condition of our 15 year old sump pump. George systematically lined out good, better, best scenario’s, and we decided to go with the best option, as a replacement. George demonstrated excellent communication skills, by delegating necessary electrical wiring to his colleague, Rayyan who returned to complete the electrical connections needed to finish the sump pump project. Very impressive display of teamwork. Overall, we’re very happy with the professionaly done work performed today, and look forward to doing more business with Michael and Son.

Outstanding service from Michael & Sons technician Donald Monroe! Donald arrived on time, was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue and unclogged our drain efficiently, making sure everything was working perfectly before he left. He explained what caused the problem and gave helpful tips to prevent it from happening again. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend Michael & Sons for their excellent service and top-notch technicians — we will definitely use them again!

First the good: Everyone I spoke to while both setting the appointment and the technician, Conner were very professional and easy to talk to. I was impressed that they could come out so quickly. Back story: All I needed was a new garbage disposal in a rental house. I've replaced several and it's so easy to do properly even the first time. I just didn't want to drive all the way there. Now the bad: I was told there was a trip fee of $69 which they charge just for coming out. It's applied to the final bill if they do the work. Not great but I went with it figuring there is no way the total would be over $200. Conner called me with the price of $600+ to replace the Badger 1/2 HP unit with the same thing. That is $117.48 for the unit at Home Depot and ~$500 labor for removing two pipe connectors (remove two bolts and loosen a slip nut), then unplugging the unit before twisting it to bring down the old unit. Installing the new unit involves the reverse. It took me thirty minutes the very first time I did it and about fifteen minutes the last time I did it. I paid the trip fee and arranged for another plumber to do the work for unit cost plus $87 labor. Guess who I'll call in the future? Conclusion: Pleasant people that I would like to be able to do business with and I'm sure they do great work. However, there is no way I can afford their prices and it's insulting to me that they would try. I hate to leave negative reviews, so I'll conclude with "Great people if you don't mind their prices".

The overall process from contacting the company to after the services competed was well structured. I really liked the fixed rate as it removed my general angst regarding open ended hourly based services. The turnaround time for the whole process was excellent - day I called I got the assessment and the work completed the next day. We had quite a bit of plumbing work done along with water heater flush. As for my Technician, George, he was great as well. Gave me calls of when he would be there within the timeframes expected. He listened to what my concerns were and gave clear recommendations as to what would both satisfy them in the context of critical to do and gold standard but not per se necessary. While providing options to us, he didn't at all feel pushy - quite the opposite in understanding where we were at. Furthermore, George worked hard to get the everything done in one day and to explain / show me what he had done afterwards. Just a genuinely nice person with whom I'm grateful to have had as my technician. Addition: we had our first bi- annual HVAC service and the guys (JJ & Rueben) were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Our house is almost 60 years old and most of the plumbing is original. During the deep freeze last week, one of our outdoor faucets sprang a leak and we had a huge ice formation and water leakage in our crawl space before we discovered it. I called Michael & Sons and they were able to come out the same day. The technician, Rene, called and let me know he was on the way. He was wonderful. He assessed the situation quickly and explained how the leak occurred and presented the options to me without any pressure sales tactics. He was able to fix the leak with minimal water disruption to the house. I truly appreciated his professionalism and courtesy. I'm happy to say that even though this was a difficult time, Rene and Michael & Sons came with a solution for us and now we are definitely customers of Michael & Sons.

AJ did an outstanding job with our electrical issues. He walked us through a clear troubleshooting plan, outlined the potential fixes needed, and quickly identified the root cause — explaining it in a way that was easy to understand. He also provided both short-term and long-term solutions, which gave us a great sense of what to expect going forward. In addition, AJ helped with a full home electrical inspection and delivered a thorough, well-organized report detailing the current conditions and when various components would need attention or replacement. Overall, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. If you need electrical work done, I'd highly recommend requesting AJ at Michael and Son Services!

We’ve been using M & S for years. We just has our annual plumbing inspection with Roberto. He is very professional, efficient, courteous, and friendly. He explains what he is doing and answers any and all questions I have. He has good manners and makes sure to leave things better than he found them during his visit. Photos taken during inspections helped validate the issues he found (in places I could not see myself) and repairs made. We needed to have our hot water tank flushed and our expansion tank replaced (it was full of water). We have peace of mind with our service contract with M & S, and Roberto is an excellent technician.

Great experience working with Eric. He first came out for a site visit to evaluate three different vanity sink setups, each with its own unique configuration, and provided thoughtful, expert recommendations on the right fixtures and drains. On installation day, he worked carefully and methodically, double-checking every detail to make sure everything was done right. The final result looks beautiful and functions perfectly. He was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in his work. Many thanks as well to Bill for helping ensure everything went smoothly—highly recommend!

I am happy to write a deserving review for the service work preformed by Sher Shaw Meherzad. He checked the outside unit and then the workings in the attic. He methodically took apart the unit to check and document the mechanics. He treated everything he touched with respect and explained what he was doing to fulfill the maintenance task. I am very pleased with the quality of the technicians through Michael & Son. I will give the highest rating.

It was easy to make the appointment for a consult and seamless to begin and COMPLETE the work all same day! Thank you to Bill for all his knowledge and kindness. Anderson was extremely professional and explained what caused our basement to flood with sewage. He thoroughly made sure we understood what was going on and he showed us as well. He was a blessing and a hero to our family because he managed to save us from having to abandon our home because a blizzard was about to hit us that night! And this goes to his supervisors - Give that man a raise…!

Roberto Torres did excellent, thoughtful and professional work, representative of Michael & Sons, offered excellent equally thoughtful advice. As always, Michael & Son does excellent, careful, professional work. I’ve been a contract holder for 14 years and find them one of the best investments. They go out of their way to ensure the job is done right pole of it was their own home.

Joshua did an excellent job replacing our water tank. Our tank is located in a very tight space with many pipes running across the tank (gas&water). I was very relieved when Josh explained everything very thoughtfully. He finished swapping out our tank by himself and did everything on schedule. I would highly recommend him to everyone I know.
