Had an issue with the hot water going to my washer after the recent hot water repairs by Metro. Called and talked to Bree and she was able to get Luis out to check the problem within 30 minutes. Luis was knowledgeable and friendly and found the problem quickly and resolved it easily.

Absolutely the friendliest and most accommodating technicians I've encountered in a very long time. I wanted to know which of my options made the most sense, ballpark pricing, and potential timelines. Normally this would be like pulling teeth to get a straight answer, but Michael Murphy not only went over my chosen options but presented me with several more, along with not just ballpark prices but a guaranteed set price for each, and suggestions on when I could get the work scheduled and completed. Both Michael and Javier were courteous, clean and professional, and the exploratory work they did was super clean and with as little intrusion into the structure as necessary to ascertain the scope of the problem. When they left I had the peace of mind knowing that the work was scheduled, when it was scheduled to be completed, the details what the work would involve and what I was paying for it. This is the kind of company I like to do business with.

Michelle was very good at his job. I had asked Metro Pumbing to put in a R.O water Filteration disinter my sink. Michelle arranged the right counter top guy to come a drill the hole through the marble counter top. He was very patient. He took extra care to call and ask a specialist regarding a question I had about my main Water Filteration. He was through and did a great job. Overall I liked the way Metro Pumbing took care of this job. Even the dispatch staff was always courteous. Most importantly I feel they listened to me and did the job wonderfully well.

Paid 89 for them to come out just to show & do nothing because I wasn’t there (me). Plumber called me why wasn’t I here? Told him that I was at work & that my brother will be home which he was so the job can start, told me that I was the one that called (before) so I called dispatched & I told her I wasn’t going to be there but my brother was & she said that’s fine so idk who’s confused… wanted me to pay another 89 if I wanted to “book appointment “. Bad communication & unfair “work”. Didn’t want to argue but wouldn’t called them again, it wasn’t after hours so don’t mention it 😂

We called this company on a Sunday because we thought we had an emergency (which we really, thankfully, did not. They came out (for a $150 service charge) and told us that it would cost over $500 to ream out our pipes (in addition to the $150!). We were horrified! Thankfully we did not do it. The next day our regular plumber came out and did the job for $160. If you want to be scalped, give them a call. OUTRAGEOUS prices.

This is a very, very deceitful company. I needed a new toilet in the kids bathroom, and wanted to put in a good one. I got prices from Lowe's and Home Depot, then decided to check with the "professionals". I called the company and asked about pricing, and was told they cannot give any prices until the plumber comes out and looks at the situation. I said can you give me a range or price for a "normal" install? No, of course not. So, dummy me, I agreed to pay $49 for a bid. I thought that if they were a bit more than the retail stores it might be worth it. The plumber that came out was very nice, very professional, and cleanly dressed. Then I started feeling like I was at an Amway meeting. He pulled out presentation cards that explain how they do things. At this point he had been there almost an hour and I had yet to get a price. Then he explained they use something like flat rate prices. This meant the guy on the phone was lying, because they have a set price for everything. He also would not split out the price between the labor and materials. Then he finally showed me the prices. To quote my teenagers "OMG"! The toilet I wanted would be $1,000 installed. I went out later and order the exact same one with installation at Home Depot for $438(before a 10% HD credit card discount). When I gave the plumber the $49 check and told him to hit the road he was a bit snooty and commented on their great service. My first thought was if this is the type of ongoing service I can look forward to, forget it. My second thought was that you can provide some pretty good service if you charge more than double for your products and service. I am usually not a "sucker", but I was suckered by Metro-Flow Plumbing and their lack of honesty. I assume they much leach onto the elderly or people who are unable to go out and check and validate prices. I may yet file a complaint with the BBB.

Edit: company called to offer a partial refund for the high cost of the service bringing it close to $530 from $725 , still expensive for a simple kitchen drain clog but it's appreciated to have a company followup on their work and customer concerns. Luis Maldonado did a great job with his service and was friendly. But we got charged $725 including dispatch fee for a simple clean out of a slow flowing kitchen sink which as far as I can tell from research is at least twice the price of what it should be. I'd love to give 5 stars because as I said Luis did a good job but these plumbers are way too expensive. It seriously feels like we got car shop ripped off. Edit: apparantly it took 15 minutes to do. We totally got scammed. So. Cautionary tale for anyone planning on using this company AND he apparantly tried selling us those BioOne drain cleaner bottles for $100 each when you can find them online for $30 to $50 each.... While I appreciate Luis's work and he was overall friendly, Its the only reason it's not one star and I'll never use this company again unless they correct this

I had them come out for a dripping faucet and had already bought a replacement, thinking that I would just have them yank the old one and replace with the new one. When they came, I learned that they could likely fix the old one with a part from the truck or replace with the new one. Now get this...getting a part from the truck and repairing it was going to be more than doing the replacement. And the replacement cost $444 - excluding what I had already spent for the faucet. They were finished within 90 minutes, and I have been kicking myself ever since for letting them do the job. I wish I had shown them the door. It was quality work (I suppose), and they were diligent to put on the little boot covers every time they came in and out. But their service price was beyond outrageous, and I don't care about their 5-star rating. That would to be a pretext to charge Neiman-Marcus rates. So, I suggest that you, Mr. and Mrs. Review Reader, get estimates. If you do, I expect that you will not use this one.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! I called Metro Flow Plumbing on a Tuesday to schedule a service appointment on Saturday at 9am due to a busted line to the water heater. I spoke with Darryl and he assured me they would be the best plumber I had ever used and I could count on them. I called Friday and confirmed my appointment on Saturday and then called Saturday morning at 8:30 am to confirm again. Due to the winter storm, I knew they would be busy. The answering service assured me each time that I was still on the schedule and that a technician was coming out. At 11am I called for a 4th time for and Darryl let me know , very abruptly, I had been taken off the schedule and would need to reschedule. He began yelling very aggressively and let me know there were other people who had used them for years who would come first . Darryl was threatening and condescending. We will NEVER use this company and I will advise all of our clients against using them as well.

Expensive expensive expensive. I've used metro flow 3 times now. The first two times was an emergency, they were the only ones available, and I was a first time homeowner so I didn't know any better about pricing. But they were very professional, clean, wore booties, and always came in pairs for some reason, and on time. I just used them again, two knowledge-gained years later and holy moly!!! They are expensive. More than FOUR TIMES the price of another plumber . But here's the trick--they charge a SIXTY FIVE dollar service fee just to give you a quote, and that price does NOT go towards the cost of the work done. So to avoid paying $65 for nothing, I paid the 425$ total to snake one drain. If you don't know, that's totally absurd. It took them 15 minutes. For 425 dollars. The drain was snaked well, I supposed, but that's not exactly complex plumbing. I feel a little robbed, and I wish they told me an estimate for snaking a drain over the phone before coming out. Sigh.

I hate to report this kind of thing but I feel like I have to. We had one of the Metroflow service contracts. Metroflow did some expensive work for us that leaked badly in a big thunderstorm about 8 months ago. That in and of itself wasn't a problem; it was that we had a video of the leak, which we sent to them and followed up with voicemail, with no reply. (It's still on my YouTube and I have all the emails and contacts) We were busy, it would be a lot of trouble to follow through, and we let it go. After many months, we had our free yearly contract inspection this morning. All is well until an under sink leak is found in the bathroom; lots of water underneath. I had been in that cabinet not ten minutes before and it was dry as a bone. Either something in the process of checking caused the leak (and all that water) or the leak was created; it does not really matter which. Can't trust them. Canceled.

Plumbing issues are never fun, but with Metro Flow my wife and I had a great experience We had a weird leak coming from the kitchen drain, but was draining in the garage. Weird. Had to call and have an emergency consult. RJ & Ted were able to take the call late and were on site at 6pm. They were able to locate the affected pipe with camera. Because it was late we needed to reschedule the work to be done two days out. Which was today, Christmas Eve! They came sharply at 9AM and were done by noon. Not only that, they were able to patch and repair the wall that was cut with some scrap sheathing we happened to have. Amazing, because this is not part of their normal job. And on christmas eve. We probably would have had holes in the wall for a couple of weeks before we could get around to patching it. Great communication and great problem solving. Above and beyond really.

We were very lucky to find Metro-Flow Plumbing. The company was responsive and clearly explained what needed to be done. We initially called about a stopped up sink and leaking pipe. After running a camera through the pipe, they found a busted pipe and quoted a price to fix. We had them fix the leaking pipe and told them we needed to get other quotes on fixing the busted pipe. After getting additional quotes, we decided to authorize Metro-Flow to do the work. In addition to competitive pricing, we liked the professionalism of Daryl and his attention to detail. The work was completed as scheduled. Juan, who was responsible for the digging and cement phase, was professional and quick. From start to finish, we were delighted with the work and highly recommend this company. I know we will use them for future plumbing needs.

I agree with all of the other "victims". After forking over $65 for a quote, I said I'd call them back after discussing this with my wife. Their initial cost to repair a leaking gas valve was $2100. After calling another licensed plumber, I paid only $500 to do the same repairs. Rather than install a new valve, Daryl from Metro-Flow wanted to tear down the piping beyond the brick wall which, as a professional engineer, I thought was excessive. I was right. I will definitely contact BBB to get back my $65 for deceitful and unprofessional practices. DO NOT CALL Metro-Flow unless you want to be entertained for the price of admission of $65. FYI...other plumbers will give you free quotes...so why should you think $65 buys you better advice? Everyone said their prices were 3X more than others...mine was 4X

Do not even bother calling this group. Their estimates are astronomical and they try to cover that up by offering a variety of convoluted "discount" programs. Also, they charge a $49 "service fee" just for giving you the high cost estimates. When I asked for the fee to be refunded, the owner was rude and argumentative with me and basically hung up on me. I think these guys are dishonest and try to take advantage of customers that don't know much about plumbing. Basically, I was told that it would cost $267 to install my kitchen faucet, $269 to hook up my gas stove, $267 for the sink basket, and $450-800 for a new garbage disposal. They also wanted to charge $200 to cut into my wall to check out a potential problem.
