I spoke to John over the phone. He was able to give me a great deal for repairing a leaky exterior main water pipe and valve. Nathaniel came out for the same-day repair. He's very professional and courteous.
John is very knowledgeable. More important, he is honest and a straight shooter. He will tell you straight if something is not right and help you understand why. I like it. We had to reroute a gas line to the outdoor kitchen. I had another contractor come in to give me an estimate. But what John proposed was brilliant. Julian and his coworker did most of the work. It was thorough. Their price was reasonable and affordable. It took them over a day to finish the entire work. I will use them in the future. I strongly recommend them.
Last night i had a gas leakage in my dryer gas valve. It seems when LG technician was installing the new dryer they cracked the valve. Anyhow i contacted Mercy Plumbing late night, they responded immediately. Nathaniel showed up 10min prior and started to work on it. He checked the whole house if they were any leakage and he mentioned that it will take around 60~90min but actually finished in 45min. He is also very knowledgeable in his work, super nice and explained the current situation. Very trustworthy company. Thank you Nathaniel.
I called to request a quote for a water heater installation and was told that someone would need to come out to assess the current setup in order to provide an accurate estimate, which I completely understand. However, during the call, the representative stated that he was “losing $100” just by being on the phone with me. That comment was off-putting and unprofessional, and it immediately changed my impression of the company. As a customer, I’m calling in hopes of receiving helpful guidance and good service—not to be made to feel like a burden. Rather than continuing the conversation, I let him know I would not be moving forward with their services and ended the call. Seems like they have enough business by his attitude.
I called to have a toilet pulled for a construction project. I got a lecture on how they see this type of project all the time and it is always trouble. They should come out and check etc etc. Felt like a pat on the head, patronizing, let's look out for the little woman who doesn't know anything, type of conversation. I did schedule an appointment because I needed the toilet removed. The first plumber that I called, called me back and we were able to set a time without a lecture and I was treated as an actually intelligent human being. I called Mercy Plumbing back immediately to cancel the appointment so they would not be losing time on me. When I called, I was told that they were losing money because I did a google search to find a plumber and happened to choose them. Apparently I cost them $100 for calling them for a job. Well they do not ever have to worry about that again. Mercy Plumbing is on a do not call list for our household. My fault that I actually sat thru this critique of my life choices.
