We had a very old cooktop with irregular sizes...so replacing it would be a chore. The young man who came, was meticulous. He measured, marked, made sure it would not hurt the existing drawers, made perfect cuts, installed the cooktop and cleaned up. We could not have asked for anything more. He was professional, but took the time to explain how it would all work. Highly Recommend!

Oscar and his assistant were very cordial and acted in a very professional manner. They made sure that the stove and the floor in from to the stove was covered. It did not take them long to install the microwave and they showed me how to operate it. His helper had a small vacuum and wiped off the stove and counter and vacuumed the floor. It was a very professional experience and I would recommend them to others.

Installations of new over stove microwave and new dishwasher. Great communication, problem solving and professional services. Our installer Agi was nothing but amazing. He installed our new over stove microwave and dishwasher we purchased from Lowe’s. We ran into a few situations with the replacement of the dishwasher. First, the under sink shut off valve malfunctioning. He spoke to his office and LOWES about the situation and moved forward with mitigating the problem and replaced the leaky under water sink shut off valve, (additional charge). *Remember problems can arise when plumbing is involved, especially in older homes, my opinion. Second, was the unseen behind the cabinet tiny entry holes. They are needed to thread the hoses to connect the new dishwasher to the under kitchen sink water line. He increased the hole entry size and raised it up higher. Our previous setup was a headache. The hose position used to caused sink water back ups into the dishwasher. I am glad we won’t have to deal with water backups into the dishwasher anymore. Finally, I highly recommend this company. They are awesome!!!🤩

Mega Plumbing was recommended to us through Lowe's for the installation of our cooktop. Their Technician misread our panel and determined we needed an electrician to upgrade our circuit. Ultimately we hired an electrician and paid their service fee only to learn that mega plumbing misread the breakers and looked at our microwave circuit instead of the cooktop. When we contacted the company to express our frustration and request to be reimbursed for the electrician costs (that were prompted by their incorrect assessment), they refused to make us whole and reimburse us for the unnecessary electrician costs. They suggested that we changed the panel and labeled things after their technician had been here, which is not accurate at all! Bottom line, don't use mega plumbing. Find another installer if you are installing appliances.

OTR Microwave install- Went on Lowes website and ordered a Samsung Microwave and a week later 2 guys from MP showed up (of course they or Lowes had the wrong number and never called - no biggee). They were very quiet and seemed like in a rush. They removed the old and inserted the new one above the oven in about 20min of fuss and drilling. Said they were all done and i asked do i need to look into the cabinet? Is everything ok? They said it was perfect and I'm all set. After they left I looked in the cabinet above, and there's 3-4 extra holes on each side when they couldn't line it up ,and also gouged out damage (3-4 inches) on each side of the left and right cabinet wall where the drill came into contact with the cabinet. So, I think it's safe to say, its probably the worst install i have ever had to pay for. And it was 200$.

Absolutely do NOT use this company! We were forced to hire them through Lowes to install our microwave, and they were a nightmare. We ended up not using them at all because of the horrible experience we had with them on the phone. First at foremost, they were scheduled to come between 3-6 PM on a Friday. We got a text after 8 PM Thursday saying that the time was moved to between 12-3 PM the next day. It is worth noting that this text came through after their business hours, meaning there was no way we could call them and tell them that they needed to honor the time we agreed upon originally. When we spoke to them the next day, they were eventually able to honor our original time slot. I want to make clear that we are working with Lowes to not only address the issues on their end but also to encourage them to revisit their contract with this company. For anyone who has worked with them through Lowes and had a similar horrible experience, I encourage you to do the same. The next day, we discovered that Lowes did not deliver the microwave with the rest of our order. We called Lowes in Laurel (even though we live in Gaithersburg) and discovered the microwave was still there. Mega Plumbing Corp agrees to pick it up for us, and we were extremely grateful. A little while later, I get a call from Mega Plumbing Corp, and I'm told that the microwave isn't there, and it won't arrive until tomorrow. Furious, I call Lowes, and they assure me that not only is my microwave there, but there are 5 people all standing there looking at it. It even has my name on the side so no one else can try to take it. They say they'll look into why the incorrect information was given out, and that from now on, any inquiries about the microwave should go directly to A, who is the distribution/pickup manager. I call Mega Plumbing Corp back and I speak to Jay. I will be the first to admit that I was not the best version of me for parts of this phone call, and I do apologize for that. Jay's customer service was TERRIBLE. I worked in customer service, my brother has had managerial positions at 4 different companies over the years, I am very much aware that the customer is not always right. Jay absolutely refused to listen to me. I told them that they were given the wrong information, and that the microwave was there waiting for them to pick it up. All he had to do was call and speak to A directly (they spoke to someone else not even in pickup/distribution previously). Jay outright refused. I told him that I had done his job for him by confirming that the microwave was there. I also told him that I was aware they were given incorrect information, but all it would take was a 3 minute phone call to get everything back on track. He continued to refuse and implied that I was lying to him. Why would I lie? What do I get out of this? At this point, I had been dealing with this issue for over 3 hours, and while there were mistakes on both ends (Lowes and Mega Plumbing Corp), only one company admitted their mistakes and dealt with this issue with professionalism. Finally, Jay calls Lowes and speaks to A. He doesn't come back and apologize, he simply says they'll be there between 3-6 PM. I ask what he's going to do to make this right since his behavior and customer service has been so abysmal. He says, "We're going to install your microwave." To which I replied, "And I'm not paying for that installation." Jay's exact words, I'll never forget them, were, "Yeah, that's NOT happening." There was absolutely ZERO apology or attempt to make their mistakes right. I pointed out to Jay that they have a 3.2 star rating on Yelp with TONS of complaints coming from Lowes customers. I asked for his name and told him I would name him personally in my review. He didn't care at all. After all this treatment and the reviews on Yelp that talk about unprofessionalism, overcharging and property damage, my husband and I decided to cancel the installation as a whole. We don't want to associate with a company that treats its customers like garbage, which is exactly what happened here. Some compassion and a simple apology would have gone a lot way. It is my personal belief that Mega Plumbing Corp doesn't care about their customers. They have a steady stream of customers coming from Lowes, so it doesn't matter how they treat them because they're guaranteed to get more. I am of the personal belief that unless their contract with Lowes is cancelled, this unprofessional and rude behavior will simply continue. I have expressed all of this to Lowes in a phone call and plan to do so in an email as well because it is causing them to lose customers because Mega Plumbing Corp doesn't know how to act.

ANOTHER FULL DAY, NO OUTREACH FROM MEGA'S INSURANCE COMPANY! I RECOMMEND YOU RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! NO! You know me, U have my phone number! U don't need more details than what I submitted below. YOU MAKE YOUR INSURANCE CALL ME TO REPAIR THE DAMGE MEGA PLUMBING DID TO OUR HOME! MY NEXT STEP IS TO GO AFTER YOUR LOCENSE AT DPOR! Less than one star experience that is ongoing after 3 weeks!! Working for Lowes, Mega Plumbing (MP) staff broke the shutoff valve while attempting to replace out dishwasher. THIS AFTER I asked their plumber if they wanted the water turned off. MP's staff said, "No need." Maybe 10 minutes later, their staff is hollering in my house after the other guy ran through the front door! This happened on June 17, today is July 6. I was in a meeting upstairs and arrived in the kitchen tonsee a sad sight of a guy trying to hold his hand over what was a broken water line! We had water across the kitchen floor and down to the basement ceiling threatening an in-home business equipment and other recreational equipment. MP filed our claim with one company. After a hour call from their insurance company a week later, that adjuster wrote me an email that Mega Plumbing withdrew the claim for my property damage and filed with another company named Concert. Concert has not returned my calls. When I call Lowes, Matt Lee and Jay Lee are, now, never in the office. I've called Mega at least three times and Lowes at least 6 times! Still, no insurance company outreach. We endured a horror of fans and de-humidifiers from that Tuesday evening through Monday when the water restoration company that MP sent removed their final machines and tore out the damaged solid wood flooring and the basement ceiling that their plumber's break ruined. Today, still no contact from MP's insurance company despite promises from MP's Matt Lee and Jay Lee. BTW, we have no invoice from their water restoration company. This becomes germane later in my note below when I speculate that Mega Plumbing is trying to out wait mynpatience. MP could be hoping I'll fix the floor and go away and then MP has only pay the water remediation folks and avoid filing a real insurance claim. And, know that Lowes is taking a hands off approach until Lowes hears that MP is not going to make things right. So, after not being able to use our kitchen for 6 days, we still have a torn up kitchen. We also had fans and heating dehumidifier running 24/7 over 6 days when outside temps were 98 to 102+ degrees! So, our home A/C ran 24/7 for 6 days! And, be aware, these machines make a horrific noise! So, we lost the use of the main living floor in our house for that entire time! We could not use our kitchen and we were forced out of our house due to the noise and excess heat generated by the drying equipment! My opinion is that you should avoid using Mega Plumbing for any work! Their act to file with one insurance company and then attempt to deflect to another makes me think, sets up the thought, that they are being deliberately deceptive and/or maybe delaying. Why would they do that? One thought is that they have a lot of claims and they are, maybe, struggling to maintain their insurance and/or trying to avoid an increase in insurance premi9ums due to their work possibly causing problems elsewhere. It has been about 4 days since i learned of their switch to a different insurance company. (Is this a bait and switch? I don't know!) Lowes is also to blame for not insisting that THEIR contractor make things right quickly. 3 weeks later and MP is trolling me along in what appears to be an attempt to avoid responsibility and out wait my patience. If you are considering plumbing work, I recommend that you consider whether you want to risk having to endure my nightmare. Just my experience supporting my opinion. I will run from anything having to do with MP in the future. If you buy a plumbed product from Lowes, maybe you want to ask if MP is getting the work. My opinion is, "run from Mega Plumbing! Find another firm to allow entry to your home."

Buying $6000 dollars worth of appliances and having them installed by this company was the biggest mistake ever. This whole process has been a nightmare. Mega plumbings communication between their customer service, technicians, and managers is absolutely terrible. I spent almost $1000 dollars to have all my home appliances installed. Was given a date of April 24th and here it is may 3rd and my family has been forced to move into our new home with missing appliances. Not only did I have to cancel my flooring install ($3000) because their scheduling issues and lack of communication within their teams and Lowe's, I lost a $1000 deposit for my flooring contractor because we needed the appliances installed to do the floors. (White lvp floors we did not want appliances sliding all over). Every time they come out to install something they found a reason they can't do it. 3 visits to my home to install a microwave, gas range, and a gas dryer. The first visit they were not able to install anything. Technicians had no materials to move an outlet 6 inches for the microwave. I let that go. But then they have consistently lied on the phone and straight to my face. Since the first visit I've called in 3 times. Talking to both customer service and the install manager himself about the gas dryer line. It needs to be extended to reach the floor for the new dryer. Saturday I call customer service and they tell me they put a note in the system for the install team to bring a longer flex line or threaded pipe to extend the actual gas line. I called the day before the install to confirm that these notes and tech will be ready for the install. Customer service says they see no note in the system about the gas lines. I asked to talk to the install manager. He says he himself put a note in the system and talked to the technician personally about the material needed for the job and assured there would be no issues going forward. They show up today may 3rd with no material. Telling me they can't install the dryer and the gas ranger the Technician tries to leave so I call customer service and let them know everything that has happened. The tech comes back in an hour later with used piping that has paint all over it. Used from someone else's home. Scrap metal. At that point i just wanted it done and installed. I'll paint the pipe. After they installed the dryer the tech then proceeds to tell me they can't install our gas range that has been sitting in my living room for a week. They again came without the proper tools to install the fire shield. I call customer service 2 times after this not understanding why they can't install the fire shield. Customer service says the tech will be able to do it if we remove the window trim which I approved. The techs loaded up the old dryer and just left. Didn't say anything. I call customer service again and the same person answers acting like they don't know who I am even tho I had called in 2 times within the hour. I was lied to by customer service and the technician about not being able to install the fire shield. Every house in the neighborhood has the same layout and they have the gas ranger next to the wall and the window. The fire shield is cut to fit around the window. They proceed to tell me again if they take the trim off they can do the install like we didn't have this same conversation 45 minutes prior. He agrees they can do the fire shield and gas range install and tells me the technician is on the way back and I even received a text from the technician saying he's on the way back. 6 hours later and they never showed back up. I've dropped thousands on these appliances and and lost money due to their scheduling and communication. If you could give zero stars I would. The fact that they have to come back and install my gas range at a later date is unacceptable and they should be embarrassed by calling themselves appliance specialists. I will be following up with the BBB and looking to receive compensation for money lost and time I've needed to take off work for these installs. Truly disappointing.

I purchased a dishwasher through Lowes in Midlothian Virginia. I Had to wait almost 2 weeks for Mega plumbing to get an appt for install . Appt was supposed to be today November 19, 2022 between 12 and 3 pm . I work night shift a little over an hour out of town at the moment . After working all night I drove home early this morning in preparation to have the long awaited dishwasher installation. The service tech from Mega. Plumbing calls this morning before I ever get home and wants to know if he can come now ?? I told him I was not there yet but would be in 15 to 20 minutes. Keep in mind that my scheduled appt isn't for another 3 hours . He said he could not wait 15 minutes for me to get home and would have to come during our SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME BETWEEN 12 and 3 PM today . I waited WITH NO SLEEP for this person TO COME BETWEEN 12 and 3 pm . No one called or showed up . I called the number back and he tells me he will be at my home between 430 and 6 pm ??? He shows up close to 6 pm and " finds a leak in the double valve " The only way to get my dishwasher installed today is if " I CASH APP OR ZELLE HIM $150 RIGHT NOW !!!" He said he would then go to lLowes to get the part and come back and install my washer . Otherwise, I will have to wait about a week to get it installed . I questioned why he wouldn't have equipment on his truck ? He said he didn't have it . There was no leak before with the other dishwasher , but suddenly he says there is one now ??? He said he could leave the dishwasher and I could get someone else to install after I've waited and driven over an hour to get here and waited ALL DAMN DAY !! I called him a liar to his face because that is what he is !!! He didn't want to do the job unless I sent him $150 ON CASH APP OR ZELLE . He called it Zillow . I asked him to call his manager. Of course , he was not able to get him on the phone . This guy who calls himself ALI is a liar . I called Lowes and they told me this is not how it should work . I was assured that a manger from Lowes will call me to get this straight and a refund for the installation that never happened.! This guy took advantage of me because I'm a woman . He thought I would send him the money!!! And when I didn't, he refused to install the dishwasher. There is nothing wrong with this valve , but if there was , I would be able to pay over the phone thru lowes with my original form of payment !!!! Not send this character the money , so he could pocket it !??? My dishwasher is sitting in my garage because this person refused to do the job unless I sent him $150 or gave him cash . He doesn't take a check or credit cards . The reason is because he s stealing money from the customers !! Don't use this company!! I'm sure he scams people out of money all the time ! He doesn't take credit cards , just cash app or Zelle . DESCRIPTION : this person was a younger male between 20"s and 30 ,slim Middle Eastern young man . Slender with dark short black hair and a big round black earring in his ear . He is a liar and a thief . I give Mega Plumbing ZERO STARS!

I ordered a new hybrid gas/electric range from Lowes and they arranged for Mega Plumbing to install it. When the installers arrived, they found that my 30 year old range had a substandard installation that would not pass current County code and that they could not install my new range. Even worse yet, they noticed that the opening in our granite countertop was not large enough in width to accommodate our new range, and the granite needed to be cut to enlarge the opening, Before departing, they told me that I needed to speak with Peter and provided his number. I thought to myself, "this is just great--after waiting a few days for my scheduled installation appointment, I have broken range that needs to be replaced, a brand new range sitting in my kitchen area and installers onsite telling me that they can't do the installation" (which I had already paid for with the range purchase). I called Peter that day on Friday at 4:45PM (thinking that I probably wouldn't be able to reach anyone on the phone). To my surprise, Peter politely answered his phone, asked me a few questions about my situation and said that he would try to help me. After confirming that they worked on Saturdays, I asked Peter if I could expect to hear from him the following day, Again, to my surprise, he said he thought that he would be able to get back to me that day -after making a few calls. Peter not only returned my call within a half hour, but then told me that he had arranged for specialists to come to my house the next morning to remove the old stove and cut the granite. Further, he said to call him when the first team had completed their work and that he would personally come to my place to complete the installation. The following day, the first team arrived early that morning-after calling to alert us of their impending arrival. They promptly removed the old range and competently cut and finished the granite countertop to the required dimensions of the new range-all while controlling the substantial dust generated by the saw. Before I could call Peter to alert him that the first team had completed their work, he called me to tell me he expected to arrive at my home in about 45 minutes. Right on schedule, he and an assistant arrived. They completed the remaining modifications in advance of installing the range. He took the time to ensure every detail of the necessary adjustments and installation were completed with professional care-all to my total satisfaction. Additionally, he patiently and competently answered numerous questions about details of the modifications and installation. Before leaving they thoroughly cleaned the work area. Peter was timely, competent, friendly and good to his word. I will be sure to call him for any future plumbing needs. I highly recommend him. Annandale, VA

I typically shy away from writing bad reviews because I understand sometimes the experience could just be the wrong person on the wrong day. But, today changed my mind. In 2020, Mega plumbing installed a hot water heater and had me sign for the work and left while i went to inspect the work. The water heater was damaged (badly dented). I requested that they replace it and was told there was nothing wrong with it except for a few dents. I pushed back and eventually got a new water heater without any damage. Fast forward to this morning. I called back because the expansion tank attached to the hot water heater had a pinhole leak. I left a message at 730am and then called back after 8 (when they opened). I was transferred to direct services and spoke to Jimmy. At that time, Jimmy question if I was sure they did my installation, and then ended up finding my account based on my phone number. Shortly after he stated he could have someone come out tomorrow. I asked him if her heard what my issue was and that there was a leak. He said your sink right? I repeated, no...this is for the hot water heater Mega plumbing installed. He then repeated he could have someone come out tomorrow (a full 24 hours from the time of the call). I explained there was an emergency and had to request an appointment in the event of a cancellation. I ended up contacting another plumber who was able to come out within hours. After I was able to get the expansion tank replaced, I called back to cancel the appointment. Joyce was initially pleasant, but when i asked to cancel, she asked if the issue was resolved. I stated that this was no longer a concern for Mega plumbing I just wanted to cancel, at which time she hung up. I called back to get her name and reminder her...as stated by the company phone system stated, this was a recorded line. Their customer service is subpar. My initial experience wasn't just the wrong person on the wrong day. Their customer service is just not good. I suggest finding ANY other plumber. Be mindful...they were the contracted plumbers that were sent by Lowe's. Hope this helps someone out there. Take care.

Horrible experience. Bought dishwasher from Lowes and this was the company assigned to install it. They sent 1 guy, who didn't speak English who didn't even carry the new dishwasher in by himself, we had to help him. First he said it wasn't going to fit. Doesn't he know they are a standard size? Then he said we needed to move the electric receptacle, no man you aren't an electrician. I asked how far is it going to stick out, got ignored. He set it in place and guess what, it fit just fine. He left it plugged in and went to work on wires on machine side, sparks flew everywhere, tripped the breaker. Then he stepped on the cord plug and broke the ground. He wanted to use it anyway, we said no. He got another out of truck, off some other new device he had loaded in his rented van, with no markings on it. Moving on to the install, he twisted the pipes under the sink to hook up the dishwasher drain and broke it. Tried to say "no leaks" when we opened cabinet it was leaking. He put a hole in the metal pipe twisting it. Then he said old pipes. Well it wasn't leaking when he got here. By the way, his shirt said a landscaping company. After arguing with someone on the phone, he was to come back. Two hours later we called Lowes. Lowes called this company and they said he was on the way be here in 30 mins. Two more hours later we left and went to Lowes to get parts. Guess who we saw there?? The lawn guy, buying the cheapest plastic pipe available to replace my broken metal pipe. When I said, on my phone translator, waiting for the manager, he ran out of the store. Manager pursued and spoke with him outside in the parking lot. After much more conversation with the "boss" on the phone, the guy comes back. This time he twisted the pipes so much the sink drain putty busted and is leaking and he put another actual hole in the metal pipe. He said old pipes, I need to replace all of them, he can't fix. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Was told by Lowes it would be installed by a licensed plumber. I asked his boss on the phone for his contractor number and he wouldn't give it to me.

We recently purchased a new range, microwave and dishwasher from Lowe's and then were assigned to Mega Plumbing for our installation. I was impressed and pleased from the get go by everything Mega did. Their communication is stellar (maybe too much, actually--LOTS of texts and phone calls), but I knew at every moment what to expect and when to expect it. And after the work was done, I received an e-mail prompting me to set up a gas inspection sign-off. Everything like clockwork. The crew was awesome, especially the lead guy. I wish I could remember his name. He was personable, efficient and knowledgeable. He communicated clearly. He even weighed in on some issues with an irrigation guy who was here at our house at the same time--all without being pushy or arrogant, just kind. This crew was able to do both plumbing and gas and was willing--for a small extra fee--to hook up the ice maker on the refrigerator I had bought a couple of weeks earlier. I couldn't be more pleased. And all of this in about an hour. Wow. Thanks, guys! One last "but." The office staff who answers the phone isn't quite so stellar. I'm not sure if I got the same young woman each time I called (2 or 3 times during the process) or different ones. But I always had the feeling that the employee would rather be doing something else and that I was bothering her. Maybe she was overworked--I don't know--but she seemed surly and wouldn't put out the effort to speak clearly enough to be understood over phone lines. To her--maybe you could slow down just a tiny bit and enunciate clearly enough so that the person on the other end doesn't have to keep asking, "Could you repeat that, please?" I think you might find that the customer will understand you better the first time you say something and won't annoy you by asking you to repeat things. Thanks for considering this idea.

Never again. Ordered a $150 kitchen faucet ($311 total with installation) from Lowe's - fine. The guys arrived at 5:30pm (in the 3-6 window) and commented on their long day. As soon as I heard "excuse me ma'am...." I knew the bill was going up. He showed me a video of the plumbing under the sink leaking and said he could replace the valve for an additional $390. It wasn't leaking before - I just had my plumber remove the garbage disposal, and trust me if he could've done any extra work, he would've let me know about old plumbing or leaking. Also my dad was under there inspecting it a few days before and said everything was fine. So I suspect the tech loosened something. The whole valve replacement and faucet install took less than 90 minutes and they couldn't get out of there any faster. I went to use the tap and realized they installed it completely wrong. The entire unit was installed 90 degrees off to the left so the tap was over the sink, not on the right hand side of the faucet. Consequently, the faucet would only swivel to one side of the sink and not the other side, because it was set to swivel to 90 past the back side of the sink. I wish I had taken a photo or video but I was running down the driveway after their van leaving trying to flag them down. I got them back in the house and tried to explain that it wasn't installed correctly. I asked them if it would be a pain to fix and they said yes. But I made them fix it anyway. There was a picture of how it was supposed to look on the box, and the box even came with installation instructions. These guys acted like they had never installed a faucet before. This was a basic job that I thought would just be easier to pay Lowe's to do the install since they hire "professionals." Next time I'll just do it myself.

We ordered a microwave and dishwasher from Lowes and installation was done by this company. The technician left the area a mess with sawdust, under the sink and in the cabinet next to the dishwasher were puddled with water, and the hose that connects to the dishwasher was immediately leaking. He also ran the dishwasher with all the stickers and plastic coverings still on the racks inside, but luckily I stopped the cycle before it heated up. There are two ways to get to our kitchen, both with plenty of room, but the technician decided to go through our dining room over the rug with his wet/muddy shoes instead of the other way on the hardwood. All of this while he saw I was home alone with a screaming newborn. I called to complain and the technician came back and said the leak was a faulty hose. Lowes is sending us a replacement dishwasher and hose to be installed but that won't come for a while. So now we're without a dishwasher for 2 weeks. We haven't used the dishwasher but noticed a foul smell coming from underneath our sink over a week later. The whole area was flooded, along with the cabinet next to the dishwasher. What was going down the sink drain was leaking from the hose and flooding our cabinets. The wood is severely water damaged and now we're worried about mold. My husband tried to figure out a temporary remedy until our new dishwasher comes and while doing that noticed the technician installed the hose completely wrong in the first place. This has been a total disaster and the company has taken no accountability. I pray a competent technician comes to install our replacement dishwasher and the company remediates the water damage done to our kitchen.
