MD Plumbing & Sewer

We’ve used MD Plumbing for multiple things over the years and always appreciated their attention to detail, promptness, and fair price. They also recently solved a mystery odor coming from a new sink/faucet install that our contractor couldn’t figure out. I so appreciate that they hung in there with me until we found the source!

We've been using MD Plumbing since the early 2000s, and they have never let us down. From the condo we owned and now in the house we're renting, they have always responded to our calls and scheduled us ASAP. Their customer service is top-notch, and they always get the job done. Yesterday, I called Mark with an emergency request. I had two inches of sewer water in my basement from a drainage system that hadn't been maintained in the last few years. His crew showed up THAT AFTERNOON and rodded out the old catch basin in the backyard, which had been neglected for far too long. Filled with grease and roots. They also cleared the line to the street, which was loaded with tree roots, dryer lint, and baby wipes from a prior renter. (We do not use wipes. If you do, DO NOT flush them. Even if they claim on the package that they are the flushable kind. Wipes are bad news for your septic system.) These guys are pros. I have been using them for years because they always get the job done, no matter what it is, charge a fair price, are super respectful of my property, clean up after themselves, and are good people. I definitely recommend them for any plumbing needs.

My water spigot was leaking and due to the fact that the temperature is starting to get close to freezing, I had to get the leak fixed quickly. A relative of mine referred me to this company and I'm very happy that they did. Their workmanship was outstanding and they were very professional. Big kudos to Sean and Greg. They came out two separate times once to install a shut-off valve and another time to change the water spigot valve.

I have unfortunately needed a plumber twice in the last month, but I have to say that I am delighted with the service and expertise that MD Plumbing has offered! They were able to set up an appointment in 1-2 days in both cases, were flexible when our building maintenance guy didn't show up as planned, fixed my problems quickly, and offered me invaluable advice about small items that I should get addressed in the future. They really know what they are doing. I'm realizing that I was not doing myself any favors in the past by getting the slightly cheaper guy. If anything, MD is more cost effective, because they are so fast. They have won my loyalty!

We needed some sewer work done on our property. MJD plumbers were very polite and cleaned up very well after themselves. They got to work quickly, figured out the problem and had it working within 2 hours. They also provided some ideas to manage the maintenance of the system. I have some interior plumbing to address and I'll be calling them soon.
