McAdams plumbing has been super responsive and professional. This is the first time we have used them and the service personnel showed up on time, we’re very courteous and had our issues solved and repaired in a remarkably reasonable time frame. We will certainly use this company again if we need plumbing assistance. Tim was super knowledgeable and did great work!

Very happy McAdams Plumbing! I called and they managed to squeeze me in on the same day even though they were booked out for the week. Tim took the time to show me the issue and was very efficient with getting it resolved. I really appreciated the attention to detail and care he took with wearing a mask, shoe covers, laying down tarp, cleaning up after himself etc. Will absolutely use this company again. As a relatively new homeowner, it was nice to have such honest service and to know that you are not being taken for a ride.

We’ve used McAdams Plumbing for a few years and won’t call anyone else. Tim is professional, friendly, honest and punctual. He does great work, we’ve never had the same issue twice. The prices he quotes are fair and reasonable. Highly recommend!

Had simple leak in PEX tubing that needed repaired. Looked on Google maps, called McAdams Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, but yet the business that was actually doing the work was Mesa Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. They were able to come the same day, which is great. Cody showed up, we talked , agreed that 5' section of PEX needed replaced. Comes back with estimate, $14K for whole house plumbing, $1.4K to replace 5' PEX with copper, or third option, replace bad PEX section with updated PEX at $1.1K. I tell Cody that his estimate is overpriced and excessive that comes out to $400 plus per hour. He supports his estimate with rationalization. I agree because I'm helping a tenant, and they need water. Cody spends 2.5 hours at the property and at the end takes $100 off because of the time. So, I pay $1,056.25. I get a text after the visit wanting to know how they did. I complain about cost, their solution was $50 credit on file. $422.50 per hour labor rate is ridiculous. Be wary of this business all

It's been 7 years since I originally wrote this review and I still get a little angry when I think about what they tried to do... McAdams tried to do $400 of unnecessary work when all that was required was 5 minutes to replace a $9 part. The Vacuum Breaker Assembly was leaking from the top of my outdoor anti-siphon yard faucet. I paid $40 to have a plumber from McAdams Plumbing come out and look at the problem. I turned on the faucet and showed him the water coming out of the anti-siphon valve on top of the faucet. He told me that the faucet had frozen and we needed to replace it. He said we needed to rip out the dry wall from our finished basement to gain access and that the job would cost $400, not including replacing the drywall which we would have to hire someone else to do. Later I did a quick google search on how to fix a leaking anti-siphon faucet and found out that it's a 5 minute fix with a $9 part from Ace Hardware. It turns out that this is a common problem that any plumber would be familiar with. I bought the part and did the job myself in 5 minutes and everything works fine now. I just had to unscrew a lid with my hand and take out the old plastic part and drop in the new one. It's a common problem and the part is designed to be easily replaced. Anyone could do it. I'm not pleased that McAdams came out and charged me $40 just to come out and then left me with the problem unfixed and told me to pay $400 more to have them fix it. It seems they either lied to me or are horribly incompetent.

** I left this review at MESA Plumbing as well. McAdams is now owned by MESA apparently. --- Eric came out and did an estimate, but these guys didn't want to provide the details I needed to see: materials and cost, labor hours and cost, and details of work to be performed. Without that, I'm unsure if we're on the same page as far as what exactly I need done. In my opinion, it also leaves too much wriggle room for them to either not do something as I've specified, not use the materials we've verbally agreed on (such as lead-free valves/fittings/solder/flux and type-L copper), or in the middle/end of a job for them to say something wasn't included in the quote and that it'll cost more. HOMEOWNERS: DO NOT PUT UP WITH THIS. YOU'RE ENTITLED TO A PROPER ESTIMATE WITH A DETAILED STATEMENT OF WORK INCLUDING ALL MATERIALS AND LABOR. IT LEAVES YOU ON THE HOOK IF SOMETHING GOES SIDEWAYS AND WASN'T AGREED TO IN WRITING. --- In addition to a lot of legalese, their estimate included a very brief summary, a price, and two other statements which spells out my fears exactly. "Install customer supplied back flow for sprinkler system. Replace copper piping up to 10 feet. From backflow location to branch tee for hose faucet. Replace frost free hose faucet." (^ Note: Includes no language about lead-free materials or type-L copper and other details are lacking.) "TOTAL: $2,183.54" (^ Note: If 10' copper is ~$50 retail and the hose faucet is ~$30 retail *and* I'm supplying the backflow preventer, then what's the other $2100 for?) "The summary above [...] is based on our evaluation and does not include material price increases or additional labor and materials which may be required should unforeseen problems arise after the work has started. I understand that the scope of work and final cost of the work may differ from the estimate, perhaps materially. THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF THE SCOPE OF WORK OR FINAL PRICE OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED." (^ Note: This is their wriggle room, yet they claim a "flat fee". This feels to me that it's a flat fee until it's not.) "All water piping to be Type “M” copper or pex tubing at our discretion" (^ Note: Not in my house. Type-L copper only for all water lines & vermin will chew right through PEX.) --- When I called back asking for the estimate details, he gave me some claptrap about it being a flat fee... well, it can still be a "flat fee" if you break down what materials I'm being charged for, etc. He said their policy is to not provide me those details. He transferred me to their "management team", which immediately went to voicemail. I left a voicemail re: the above and received no call back. Then I got another text a day or so later asking me if I'm ready to move forward. I replied back that I can't just go off a random number, I need those details... no response. I was unhappy with some other aspects of trying to deal with them as well, but primarily the above.

The folks at McAdams are so amazing! I had spent a month with a broken toilet trying to work with my home warranty and the terrible plumber from a different different company they sent out before I was able to break my contract. This this point and I was pretty skeptical of all plumbers but I saw that McAdams Plumbing had the best reviews in the area so I gave them a shot. The receptionist I talked to on the phone was so nice and incredibly helpful! I needed to replace my whole toilet (as a new homeowner this is my first time doing it) and she took the time to go over all the different models and gave me some great recommendation! They were then able to come out and install the new toilet the next day, the other plumber I had to work with took 5 days to come out and just look at the toilet. Tim was my technician and, with a call a head of time, said he could be there earlier than the scheduled time. When Tim arrived he was extremely nice and very professional! We chatted a bit about why I was replacing the toilet and he listened to me rant about the awful experience I had trying to get it fixed before and he was very sympathetic to my situation. After I mentioned that I just moved in to this condo he asked if he could look at my water heater because he has had to replace a lot of them recently in this condominium complex, which was so considerate. He removed (and disposed) my old toilet and installed the new one and all its guts a lot faster than I thought and was really cleanly (he even put little booties over his shoes to avoid tracking anything on my carpet)! I cannot recommend McAdams enough and from now on they will always be the first people I call should I have any more plumbing issues.

Called to have some toilet repairs done, they were able to get out same day being a non emergent call. Work was complete, I did have to tighten something down after they left due to a small leak but that's not a huge deal. The job got done and everything works. They also looked over a dirty sink and answered some questions I had. Guys were super nice and helpful. It did feel a bit overpriced though and that's why I gave it 3 stars. They charge a show-up fee which isn't waived with service, and the total to fix a toilet seal and flange was just over $500. (Which included the fee) Can't say I could really recommend that personally, but that's just me.

I've lived in my home for many years and have always had no water pressure in my kitchen. I've called plumber after plumber over the years only to be left frustrated with them saying "we can't figure it out". ONE call into McAdams Plumbing and the woman who scheduled my appointment was even confident she knew what was wrong and instructed me through a few steps. When they came out to install the new faucet, they were quick, professional, and reasonably priced and for the first time in 7 years I have water pressure in my kitchen! I will never call another plumber again, McAdams Plumbing is my go too and it should be yours too!

I've used McAdams a couple of times now (dripping faucet in a bathtub and a hot water heater replacement with bonus clogged drain). Both times were fast and professional. Tim answered all my questions and was honest about our options and next steps. I'll use them in the future for all my plumbing needs. Edit 7/28/20: McAdams continues to rock and save my plumbing emergencies with proper response and cost estimates. Really happy to have a trustworthy plumber. Can't recommend enough. Edit 9/9/21 McAdams continues to deliver on my plumbing needs. Solid service, solid price.

Tim is a class act. The shutoff valve in my basement developed a leak and I needed a quick repair. Tim had the water turned off at the street in less than a hour. When he came to do the work he saw that the problem could be easily fixed with an adjustment to the packing nut and had the leak fixed in seconds. To top it off, he didn't charge me a dime despite my offers. Tim is is a professional, honest, hard working guy and I will be recommending him without hesitation to anyone looking for a plumber. Can't thank him enough.

Tim was very personable and was able to fix four faucets. He had the parts that were needed so he didn't have to make several trips. The kitchen faucet was installed 18 years ago and is no longer available. We were so glad that Tim could fix it so that we didn't have to replace it with something that would not have been as nice. Tim was also able to determine the source of a leak with his detective skills. We are so glad that we discovered McAdams Plumbing.

Great company that offers amazing services at affordable prices. I'm very happy with everything they did for my AC. It's been getting unbearable! They were quick too and I'm relieved they gave me time to look over the estimate, answering what I figure was ton of questions. I've been burned by companies that do those hourly charges so I'm super happy that what I saw is what I paid for once the tech was done. It really helped me budget.

My husband and I used McAdams Plumbing to install a tankless water heater and we are thrilled with the results! Danielle's communication was excellent with scheduling and Tim did a fantastic job with the install. He absolutely cares about the quality of his work, is professional, and prices are very reasonable. Thank you, Danielle and Tim!

I have used Tim (Owner) at McAdams plumbing several times and each time he has done a great job. He installed two new sinks and faucets in a bathroom for me. He also replaced a valve for a shower. Great work. He is very professional and personable. I would not hesitate to recommend Tim for your plumbing job.
