I was doing laundry last night when my sewer backed up filling my laundry room floor. I called Matthews Plumbing this morning, Bryan was fantastic to deal with trying to get somebody out to my house today. Matt came out this afternoon. He also was great, explained to me my options, and what he had found when he was done. Both guys really seemed to care and explained everything. I would highly recommend.

I recently had Matt from Matthews Plumbing Service out to help with my ejector pump, and I couldn’t be more impressed. It’s rare to find someone who combines expert knowledge with such a genuine, personable approach. He clearly knew exactly what he was doing, diagnosing the problem quickly and explaining the fix in a way that made total sense. Matt stands by his products and his work. What really stood out, was the service he was punctual, professional, and thorough. Beyond the technical work, we had a great conversation while he was here; he’s just a truly kind, down-to-earth, and decent person who takes pride in his craft. It’s a relief to find a plumber you can trust both for their skills and their character. Matt will be the only plumber I will be calling and recommending to family.

Matt was extremely prompt and professional. He arrived on time, was able quickly identify the leak in our upstairs plumbing and fixed it right away. His prices were extremely reasonable. Very happy with the service. We would use this company again.

Matthew was great! He was on time, super efficient, and did not leave a mess. I really appreciated how thorough he was with the job and taking the time to clean the area as well. He tried different methods to make sure he resolved any issues. A lot of plumbers also leave messes for you to deal with but not Matthew! In addition, He was also very knowledgeable and kindly would educate you on the issue or causes at hand. Explaining what can be done to prevent them etc. Lastly, he does the job for a fair price! Friendly, cost efficient, and gets the job done great (and fast too!). It was great meeting and speaking with you Matthew. Would definitely give you business again! Matt did a great job for us. We initially called for help fixing a leaky faucet. After taking a look, Matt recommended a replacement rather than a repair and gave us great info to make our decision — but never pressured us to go one route vs the other. The work was done quickly with zero mess to clean up after Matt was finished. The price was very reasonable, too…less than we would have paid for installation from Lowe’s or Home Depot and we feel the work is much better. We prefer to hire local businesses so we are thrilled to have found someone local that we can trust. We will definitely use Matthews again and will recommend them to our friends and family.

We’ve been working with Matt for the last 5 years now. We’ve used him multiple times for everything from property inspections including sewer scoping to many repair projects around our homes. From leaking bathtubs, hot water tank replacements, toilet replacements, pipe repairs, and sump replacements - Matt has always been exceptional. It’s rare to find such a skilled tradesman who delivers a high level of craftsmanship and expertise while at the same time being reliable, responsive, and fair in price. We cannot recommend Matt enough. He is our go to for all of our plumbing needs and is an absolute pleasure to work with.

I called Matt about a water heater issue, non-urgent, he was here the next day. He waited over an hour on hold with the manufacturer, to get the same response he already assumed the issue was :-D We decided to go with a new tankless, which would have been installed next day, but Matt got sick. He called me 3 times to keep me updated, all along we told him "no rush, get better!" Matt shows up on time and with a smile! He explained everything and answered my questions. I will be calling Matt the next time I have any plumbing issues.

Matthew’s plumbing in Bartlett came to my home and replaced a spigot and fixed a main water shut off valve for me. I researched multiple companies and received quotes. The price he quoted was in line with the final cost. Matt the plumber explained in detail what I need to fix my problems. He answered all my questions and competed both jobs in 90 minutes. He was extremely conscientious and professional in his work. I will definitely recommend Matthew’s plumbing with the highest of ratings.

I never leave reviews, but the service was so great from Matthew's Plumbing Service that I felt compelled to write one. Matt might be the most honest and salt of the earth person I've had the pleasure to meet. Again, honest, no unnecessary upselling nonsense. Fixed the problem perfectly. I called with a water problem (pinhole leak in a main line) while having out of town guests - Matthews plumbing showed up within 15-20 minutes of my call and promptly served me with quality work and a friendly attitude. Prompt, professional, efficient and fair pricing. Matthew was prepared for any situation when he came to fix my sink. He had shoe covers when he came in, asked permission to go back out to his vehicle if he needed more supplies if he needed. Once he was done he cleaned the area that he was working in and made sure that he answered any questions I had as well as suggesting remedies to keep things working. I would highly recommend!

Can not say enough about Matthew. Had a sump pump that was going out and I called him late in the evening. Stopped everything and came right over himself. Was in and out in under an hour and replaced the old sump pump. Even checked the backup for any issues and tested the battery. Very knowledgeable. No corners cut and very clean and thorough. Treats your house as if it were his own. A+ and would use again without hesitation.

I have had Matt to my house on two occasions. Once to fix my DIY mistake, which he was very kind about even though my mistake was stupid. The second time was to diagnose and repair a leak in my shower. Both times he was thorough, careful, and an easy guest to have in the house. He spent extra time finding my leak and fixing it. His rates were super reasonable. I'm having him back this week to run gas to my fireplace.

This guy was great! Came to fix a leak under our kitchen sink. He texted before he came, showed up exactly when he said he would, diagnosed the issue in less than 10 minutes, and fixed it quickly. He even inspected the rest of our sink and saw our disposal was about to come unclipped and fixed it. Very thorough, professional nice guy! You never want to have to call a plumber, but if we ever have to again, he’s our guy!
