I had an excellent experience with LZ Plumbing in Lake Zurich. From start to finish, everyone I worked with was fantastic. Maria was incredibly helpful and communicative, making the scheduling process easy and stress-free. John and Boris were professional, honest, and took the time to clearly explain everything that needed to be done. It’s not always easy to find contractors you can truly trust, but this team made the whole experience smooth and reassuring. I really appreciated their transparency and the quality of their work. I would absolutely recommend LZ Plumbing to anyone I know who needs plumbing assistance. Great service all around!

Boris and John were both very professional and knowledgeable when replacing my garbage disposal. Not only were they professional, they are both very personable and went above and beyond to make sure that I understood what was the problem. They continually took the time to answer my questions and concerns, and Boris even took my nosey German shepherd under his wing as an apprentice at points. I highly recommend both of these professionals and will be using them again if the time ever calls.

Boris from LZ Plumbing came to my rescue again. I first started using him when I bought a new home and no one could determine the point of a water leak that I was having sporadically. Boris was able to zero in on a bad connection with the dishwasher and fixed it. This time he was able to quickly fix a water heater problem I was having in my rental unit. Highly recommend this business!

We hired this company for a project in Niles and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. They completed only half of the work and never returned to finish the job. Despite paying them in full, we have been unable to get any response. We’ve called multiple times and sent several texts with no reply. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company.

I hired LZ Plumbing through a home warranty company to fix a shutoff valve and pipe that had become separated. I assumed it was fixed for good - but two years later, the same thing happened again. I tried to call and email them, but they never responded, so I guess they don't stand behind their work. I hired someone else to fix it properly (it needed more than what LZ had done) and they gave me a three year warranty.

We have been using LZ Plumbing for several years now and have always been very pleased with them. In fact, this is the only company that comes to mind when I think of who to turn to for a reliable plumber. We have used other plumbers before but none of them compare to the LZ plumber. They go above and beyond to assure a repair is done right the first time and has had to fix the work that plumbers did. For example, a couple years ago we had a plumber that just pushed a clog further down the drain with his pressure plunger. Well, a week later, the bathroom shower and kitchen sink had water coming up in them again and so I called LZ Plumbing. Borko, spent a good couple of hours rodding the pipes and knocking on wood, we have not had an issue like that since. We have used LZ Plumbing for several services from rodding, to installing toilets, to replacing rotting pipes, and have be very pleased every time. They'll even squeeze us to their already full schedule and do what they could to make the cost reasonable and competitive. I am a renter and LZ was suggested by the owner of my apt. I initially called because of a slow draining bathroom sink. While Boris was still here, I also asked him to take a look at the kitchen sink which has had poor water pressure for months. He determined that the problem was the cartridge in the faucet and not a problem with the pipes as I had been told by two other plumbers. He went to a local hardware store to find a replacement cartridge, but it did not fit the faucet. So, he told me he would check some other places and come back. He returned a few days later and was able to replace the cartridge. He had also bought a new faucet as a "back up fix" if one of the cartridges didn't work. Finally, after so many months, I had a great working kitchen sink! As an added bonus, I mentioned to him that the building's water supply was going to be turned off and he removed the aerators and showed me how to deal with everything so that when the water was turned back on, I would not have any trouble. I don't want any more plumbing issues, but I do know who to call when they arise!

Boris was able to diagnose and repair our water heater which had a bad valve control unit. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to be careful with our old home’s galvanized pipes. He also adjusted his schedule and came by an entire day earlier when he learned the part needed had arrived earlier than expected. He also checked for gas leaks using a sensor after the repair was finished — which gave us some peace of mind. :) We’ll definitely be calling him again for any future plumbing needs. Thanks Boris!

I have used LZ Plumbing in the past and I can honestly say that this is the ONE company that takes the best care of their clients. Borislav was amazing with his precise evaluation of the problem and was able to give me the best solution of how to fix it! I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs an extremely good plumber! I was able to shop around before I called them and I can say that their fees were extremely reasonable too!

I used this company via a home warranty program. Borris, was great and fixed my leak. The reason for the four stars; communication. Communication is a key component for customers, whether through a third party program or direct. Plumbing is a tough business as a lot of jobs entail water leaks and emergencies. That being said the company does need to figure out how it can communicate to those customers it’s servicing.

Boris was very responsive even while out of town and John did a quick assessment of the issues and took care of them. After several bad experiences dealing with the bug plumbing outfits that were over priced and frustrating to deal with, it was great to find a reliable and responsive small local business to do the work. We will definitely use them again when needed.

This company is awesome! They are trustworthy and reliable, they came out on Mother's Day and replaced our water heater that had rusted out within a few hours. They put down tarps to make sure our floor didn't get dirty. And they went above and beyond to help us get our refund from our warranty company. I highly recommend this company!

Our water heater sprung a leak the night before Mother's Day. LZ plumbing came out ON Mother's Day and replaced the water heater within a few hours. They went above and beyond to ensure we were refunded by our warranty people. I would highly recommended this company! They are trustworthy and honest!
