My parents were dealing with some repeated problems with their water pressure tank. After making a quick call to Lewis Brothers Plumber & HVAC, an appointment was set up right away. Nathan, the technician, showed up on time, took a thorough look at the situation, and clearly explained what was going on in simple terms. He replaced the old tank with a new one, and now everything works perfectly. The team here is knowledgeable, friendly, and truly professional. We’ll definitely rely on them again whenever we need plumbing help.

after reaching out to several plumbing companies, we finally found a plumber who could help us with an emergency leak. nathan arrived at our home quickly, figured out what was wrong, and took care of the repair right away. most other companies said they'd call back, but we never heard from them. nathan's fast response and professional work made a stressful situation much easier. we will definitely call for his plumbing services again and recommend him to anyone needing a reliable plumber!

the plumbing team really helped us out in lafayette. we had several pipes burst in our condo building’s utility room, which caused water to leak into shared spaces and affected one of the units next door. after calling, marc and duane got back to us quickly and moved us up on their schedule. even though it was a cold colorado day, they worked hard from morning until evening to fix every problem and make sure our water was running again for all six units. marc and duane were both professional, friendly, and worked with a lot of care. they even adjusted our bill at the end since the repairs took less time than they first thought. we’ll definitely call them again for any plumbing needs, whether it’s for the whole building or just one unit. you can count on them to be honest, skilled, and reliable!

I’m very disappointed. The company sent out a person from a different roto-rooter company without telling me. The person gave me an outrageous price to replace the hot water heater (2x of Home Depot price). A bait and switch.

DO NOT USE! Called at 6:30 am in hopes to get a morning appointment. Was transferred to someone who got me on the schedule for an arrival window between 7-11 and was told we’d receive a call 20-30 mins prior to arrival. Didn’t receive a call. Guy shows up around 10:30-11 and gives a quote for $2900 (if we agreed to it today) with potentially having someone available to fix it tomorrow - knowing we had to shut the water off to the whole house the previous evening when the bathtub faucet wouldn’t turn the water off. Quickly googled what he claimed was the issue to find it should cost $600-800. Called a second plumber for a second opinion, and 2nd guy comes out, has it fixed in 30 minutes and charges us $375. Turns out this company outsourced the call to Anywhere Router. Don’t waste your time or money! Many other options and honest people out there!

We recently bought an older Victorian-style house here in Lafayette, knowing there would be some repairs, but plumbing problems weren’t even on our minds after the inspection. On the day we moved in, my son and I discovered water damage behind the refrigerator. When I tried to turn off the angle valve to disconnect the fridge, it started leaking badly and wouldn't shut off. I rushed outside to turn off the water to the house, but the main shutoff was wrapped in layers of old blankets and bags, and I didn’t have a tool to get it open quickly. Then I tried to shut it off at the meter, but there was already a leak there and the box was full of fire ants, making things even more stressful. Desperate, I started calling around for a plumber who could come quickly, and Lewis Brothers Plumber & HVAC answered right away, promising someone would arrive within an hour. Cole showed up fast, fixed the broken angle valve, and while he was looking for the house shutoff, he noticed the backflow for our sprinkler system was also broken. He offered to come back the next day to fix it, even though we hadn’t paid yet. The next day, with just a quick call, the repair was done and I paid easily over the phone. Since then, we've had them back to repair faucets in my kids’ bathroom. The previous owner had done a cheap remodel, leading to more surprises—like a shower door randomly breaking, low water pressure at the sink, and hardly any hot water in the shower. Cole was always prompt and fixed every issue, and he’ll be returning to replace the old faucets once the new ones arrive. The pricing is very fair and straightforward. Cole clearly explains what’s wrong, shows you the problem, and gives honest advice on what needs to be replaced or repaired, even recommending good brands if you ask. Even in our urgent situation, they didn’t charge extra just because it was an emergency. I really recommend them for any plumbing work, and I know we’ll be calling again as our Victorian keeps surprising us!

lewis brothers plumber & hvac helped fix serious sewer backup issues at two of my rental homes, after other plumbing companies couldn’t get the job done right. their work really impressed me at both locations. robert was especially skilled at clearing out tree roots, calcium buildup, and debris from the pipes. i first heard about them while reading reviews where someone mentioned they had fixed a problem another plumber left behind, so i decided to give them a shot myself. at the first house, another plumber came out because of a basement water backup. they used a camera and found a big root ball in the sewer line, then used a snake to poke a hole just to let some water through. instead of actually clearing the roots, they just said i’d need to dig up and replace the whole sewer line, which would have been a huge job. robert from lewis brothers plumber & hvac came out, used his own camera, and took the time to fully grind away every root and calcium deposit. by the time he was done, the sewer line was running smoothly and clean. i couldn’t believe how well it worked! at the second house, a different company tried to clear a basement backup, but they couldn’t see through the standing water and only managed to pull out a few wipes with their snake. they said their snake couldn’t get past the clog, and recommended digging up and replacing the whole line for a huge cost, leaving the sewer still clogged and full of water. once again, robert showed up, used his camera and tools, and removed all the tree roots blocking the line. he also gave me great advice on how to prevent future problems. i’m really glad i found this company—they can clean out and repair sewer lines when others just want to dig everything up and charge a fortune. if you need a plumber who knows how to handle tough sewer problems, this is the team to call!

UPDATE - So even though this winter has been milder than usual, it still brought some cold days, and we relied on gas for heating, hot water, and electricity. I recently had the last of the new windows installed, and while the house isn't completely air-tight, it's significantly better than before. I must say, with these three major projects—new HVAC, new hot water heater, and new windows—our heating costs have decreased, even with the rise in gas prices. The new unit has been working perfectly, and the upstairs is getting airflow like never before. I received several quotes for the work needed, and the pricing was fairly reasonable. I met with the installation supervisor to walk through the job and discuss our needs and space. We went over options for the system and settled on equipment based on my experience and the recommendations. Coordination was made ahead of time for access and start times, so there were no surprises or extra costs. The installation took all day as planned, and the area was cleaned up afterward. They showed me how to operate the equipment and assisted with the Wi-Fi setup for the new thermostat, explaining how it all worked. I really appreciate the quick follow-up and wanted to express my gratitude for the fantastic work done by Nathan and his team. They not only did an excellent job with the installation but also educated us about the system. While it wasn't the cheapest option, good quality rarely is. If you're looking to have a new system or part of it installed or repaired, definitely talk to them. They will go over your options and do a great job. Remember to consider more than just the cost—look at the quality of the equipment, installation, and service. They provided us with top-notch equipment, clean installation, and professional service. Here’s to many years of reliable service ahead!

I recently needed help with a big plumbing issue at my house, so I reached out to Lewis Brothers Plumber & HVAC. I left a message in the evening and Gage got back to me within half an hour, offering to come over that same night. Since it wasn’t urgent, we scheduled for the next afternoon at 3:00 p.m. He texted around 1:30 p.m. to confirm he was on time, and actually arrived about 10 minutes early, which I appreciated. The problem was a stubborn root invasion in my toilet drain that was also causing trouble with the shower and even lifted the toilet mounting ring. Gage handled everything—he cleared out the roots, did a full camera inspection, and properly reseated the toilet for me. After he fixed the main issue, he also made sure the toilet was staked down securely. He not only repaired the symptoms but also found the root cause and sorted it out, all for exactly the price he quoted. There were no hidden fees or surprise charges—just honest, solid plumbing work. I think Gage went above and beyond for what he charged, and the price was very fair. I’m so happy with the service that I’ve already scheduled another visit to fix a leaky vanity faucet. The price for this new work is also straightforward and reasonable, and I don’t have to worry about any upselling or pressure tactics like you sometimes hear about elsewhere. Five stars all around for this company! I’ve even got a picture of the massive tree root cluster that was clogging the drain. Even though the old tree has been gone for a while, the roots kept causing trouble until now. Thanks to their work, I don’t have to worry about roots getting into my drains again.

I recently needed help with a shower cartridge repair in Lafayette, so I called a local plumbing company. From the very first phone call, their service was excellent. Josiah answered and was very friendly and listened carefully to the problem with my shower. He and Marc quickly set up an appointment that worked for my schedule, showing they really care about helping their customers quickly. On the day of the repair, Duane, the plumber, arrived right on time and was polite and respectful throughout the visit. He quickly figured out what was wrong with my shower cartridge and explained everything in simple terms, which I really appreciated. Duane’s plumbing skills were obvious—he worked carefully and made sure everything was done right. He also kept the work area neat and clean, so there was no mess left behind. After the repair, my shower worked perfectly, just like new. Duane tested everything to make sure the water pressure and temperature were just right. He even went the extra mile and lubricated my shower door, so it slides much more smoothly now. What really made this company stand out was their focus on making sure I was happy with their work. Their communication was clear, the prices were fair, and they patiently answered all my questions. The whole experience was stress-free, and I felt confident in their plumbing expertise. If you’re in Lafayette and need a plumber for anything from small repairs to bigger plumbing jobs, I highly recommend this team. Their quality of work and dedication to customer service truly impressed me.

As a homeowner, plumbing problems can feel overwhelming, but when I had water backing up from a drain in my Lafayette home, I reached out to Lewis Brothers Plumber & HVAC. Gage responded the same day I called and quickly got to work by running a camera through the pipes. He discovered a collapsed pipe under my slab foundation and took the time to explain each step of the pipe replacement process, making sure I understood what needed to be done. Slab homes can be tricky for plumbing repairs, but Gage and his team handled everything with care and professionalism, treating my property like it was their own. There were no shortcuts—every step was done right. Before closing up the slab and pouring new cement, Gage showed me the completed repairs and explained everything in detail. The city inspector came out, and the work passed inspection without any issues. The cleanup was thorough, and everything was left in great shape. My family has also used their plumbing expertise for another property, and we’ve always been impressed with the quality of work and the professionalism of the team. We’re very happy with the service and will continue to rely on them for future plumbing needs. Having a dependable plumber gives real peace of mind, and it’s clear these folks take pride in doing the job right. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.

Excellent, fast, dependable, and affordable plumbing service. From the first phone call to having everything fixed, the whole job was handled in about two hours. I really appreciate this family-owned plumbing company because a real person answers the phone, and they are honest and fair about the work that needs to be done. I called when my water heater stopped working and started leaking, and they explained clearly over the phone that it needed replacement instead of repair. Jaime and Marc arrived very quickly, got right to work, and finished the installation fast. They upgraded my 40-gallon water heater to a 50-gallon unit, cleaned up some of the water and mess in the basement, and even ran a snake through my sink drain while they were there. The plumbers were polite, skilled, and easy to talk to, and they made the whole process much less stressful. The pricing was very reasonable for the amount of work completed, especially for an emergency plumbing visit. This was the second time they came through for our home, and both times they were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. It is hard to say enough good things about a plumbing team that responds quickly, does solid work, and leaves you feeling confident you can trust them again for any future plumbing repair or water heater service in Lafayette.

When my hot water stopped working, I tried to fix it myself but couldn't figure it out. I decided to reach out for help and started calling around Lafayette to find a plumber. Most places wanted about $150 just to send someone out to look at my water heater. Then I called a plumbing company and spoke with Nathan. Instead of immediately quoting me a fee, Nathan asked me to send him some photos of my water heater so he could help me figure out the problem right away. Nathan guided me through a few troubleshooting steps over the phone, but we still couldn't get the hot water running. He suspected that a small part needed to be replaced, so he asked for the serial number to check if my heater was still under warranty—which it was! I drove over to the shop, picked up the replacement part, and with Nathan’s advice, installed it myself at home. Right after putting it in, my hot water heater started working again! I was really impressed with the service Nathan and the receptionist provided. They truly went above and beyond to help me, and I didn’t have to pay anything for their advice. Instead of trying to charge me for a service call, Nathan genuinely wanted to help me as a customer. I’ve already recommended this plumber to friends in Lafayette and will definitely use them again for any plumbing issues.

I needed a plumber twice in the same month, once for my business and once for my home in Lafayette. Before finding the right team, I tried three other plumbing companies, but each one raised their prices when they showed up, which was frustrating. When I finally called for plumbing help, I was happy to see they gave me an honest quote upfront and stuck to it, even for after-hours service. Nathan was the plumber who came out both times, and I was really glad to have him on the job. At my business, he fixed the problem quickly—everything was done in about 30 minutes. When he came to my house, he took care of a stubborn tree root clog in my main sewer line. Even though I was unsure about extra steps, Nathan suggested doing a camera inspection to make sure everything was clear. I’m really grateful he did, because we found over 12 feet of collapsed sewer line that I wouldn’t have known about otherwise. Since the issue was linked to recent work done by the village, I didn’t need to hire them for the excavation. But thanks to Nathan’s thorough work and attention to detail, we caught a serious problem early before it could cause any real damage to my home. I highly recommend this plumbing service for anyone in Lafayette looking for honest prices and professional work.

I’m really glad we went with this plumbing company! We had a big plumbing project that included installing a water softener, putting in new faucets, updating shower and bath fixtures, replacing toilets, and adding new valves and braces under every sink and toilet in the house. After having a rough time with another plumber before, I made sure to get quotes from several places this time. This company stood out with their fair and competitive pricing for all the work that needed to be done. Marc was the plumber who handled our job, and he was fantastic to work with. He was careful and detail-oriented, making sure everything was installed properly. While he was working, he discovered a few hidden plumbing issues and explained each one clearly, letting us know why they needed fixing. I appreciated how Marc took time to walk me through the problems and solutions, which made me feel confident that these repairs were important. The honesty, speed, and quality of their work really impressed me. Living in Colorado, it’s important to have plumbing that can handle cold winters, and Marc made sure everything was set up to avoid any freezing issues. I’ll definitely call them again for any future plumbing jobs!
