I inherited a gas line situation that had already been through months of chaos before it ever reached me. My mother had been dealing with it from the beginning after the city shut the gas off. The first company she hired pointed fingers, refused to pull permits, and the whole thing ended up being reported to TDLR. She passed away before they could resolve anything, and I was left trying to figure out where the process even stood. Once I finally pieced together the history, TDLR, Atmos, and the City of Garland all directed me to the city’s certified plumber list. Level Up Plumbing immediately stood out—not only did they have the best reviews, but their website clearly listed all their licensing and credentials, so I didn’t have to chase down verification. Dillon showed up and instantly restored my faith in the concept of “competent professionals.” He was prompt, transparent, and explained everything in a way that didn’t make me feel like I needed an engineering degree. He handled everything himself: the repairs, the permits, and coordinating with the city. Within a week, the work was completed and the city approved turning my gas back on. That felt like a miracle. Dillon was very helpful, courteous and patient when I needed help disconnecting and re-connecting my gas stove for repairs. He was also professional, on time, reasonably priced, and easy to get in touch with. First he came out to disconnect the gas from the stove, and he observed my gas shutoff valve was too far from the stove. He gave me a quote to install a new shutoff valve, replace the gas flex line, and re-connect the stove when it was ready. He also gave me helpful advice for unsticking a part that was stuck. Once the stove was repaired he came back to reconnect the stove. He thoroughly tested every burner to ensure everything worked properly and tested the gas line for leaks. He was pushing the stove back against the wall when one of the side panels fell off because I forgot to secure the bolts. I told him I had to fix it and I'd put the stove back after he left. About 20 minutes after he left I realized I couldn't push the stove back against the wall because the flex line was in the way. I called him and he turned around and came back to fix it right away. When he got here I was still struggling to attach one of the side panels. He helped me attach the side panel and got the stove pushed up against the wall for no additional charge.

I got Dillion's name from a neighbor and called him to come take a look at my tankless water heater that was having issues. I called him Friday morning and he came within the hour and stayed for a good hour and a half diagnosing the problem. We discovered the exhaust pipe had been installed incorrectly and so he patiently waited for me to contact the roofer so they could come and help realign the pipe. After some convincing I got the roofer to come the next day....and Dillion was accommodating enough to come the next day when the roofer was there to make sure he could install the exhaust pipe correctly. Dillion arrived at 10 AM just like he promised.....the roofer was an hour late. Dillion was terrific, he was patient, did not complain despite the delay by the roofer, was very professional. I felt like I was dealing with family. He is one of those rare individuals that makes a person feel like they are truly being taken care of, he not just there to do the job, he is there to do the job right. I highly recommend Dillion to anyone needing quality work. He really is committed to helping others, and he is a big dog lover.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Dillon to repair my kitchen sink drain line. The old copper pipe had been leaking and needed to be replaced. Dillon did an excellent job in fixing leaking kitchen sink from the basket strainer and completely redo the botched installation of garbage disposal from previous "handyman" Dillon also suggested points of failure that may soon come up and recommended quick fix until I have the time and resources to address the issue. We had a little problem with drainage from our dishwasher. We found a recommendation for Level Up and I am glad we did. Dillon was there when he said he'd be there, and took care of everything. I even asked him to do an addition job when he was here. The price was fair and he didn't try to upsell me or look for reasons to jack up the price like so many of the bigger companies do. I'll use them again without hesitation.
