Lee’s Roofing did an excellent job on our full roof replacement. The quality of work was great and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Huge thanks to Elijah, Oscar, and Beto for keeping me informed every step of the way and sending updates while my family and I were out on a family vacation. That communication really gave us peace of mind. The crew was professional, efficient, and left everything clean when the job was done. I highly recommend Lee’s Roofing.
I had a great experience working with Brandon from Lee’s Roofing. He was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with from start to finish. Brandon took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood what was going on. He showed up on time, was respectful, and gave an honest assessment without any pressure. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and truly cares about helping. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and dependable, I highly recommend Brandon. Excellent service and communication every step of the way.
We made the hard decision to say goodbye to our aged clay roof tiles and to go ahead with a conversion to a new asphalt roof. The easy part of that decision was choosing Lee's Roofing for the project. We've always had wonderful service with Lee's which has included installing a new HVAC unit and all new ductwork and insulation, as well as semi- annual maintenance through the years. We knew we could expect A+ work on our roof. True enough, our new roof looks sooo good and the entire job of removal and installation went very fast. The installation crew was hardworking, and sales rep Dylan Kent did an excellent job going over the proposed work/costs and explained the whole process beforehand. Special shoutout to project manager Juan Celis for his great communication, awesomely friendly and helpful manner, and excellent oversight of the installation. Overall, a super great experience for us and we love our new roof! Thank you, Lee's!
Do not use their service. I made an appointment, received a text confirmation with time window. When they didn't show up, I called and they told me that there was no appointment for me. Wasted my whole morning waiting on them when I could've gotten someone else to come out.
I made an appointment with this company to come out to our house to install a garbage disposal in our kitchen, as our old one had seized up and was no longer working. I happened to be at work that day, so my wife answered the door for the technician that came to our home. The technician quoted us a price of $600 for a basic install of a customer-supplied garbage disposal, not including any parts. My wife thanked him, and paid him the agreed-upon $49, and sent him on his way. We called a different plumber, and they came out and performed the same service we had requested from Lee's, for $150. I am not sure what would have been different in the result of the two providers, except for one of them was 4X the price. If you find yourself in need of a plumber, this is not your best option, in my opinion. I had called them initially because the former owner was an acquaintance of my father's from when they were both involved in a service club together.
I'll start with the positives: This is to replaced a 20 year old HVAC system for an inverter HVAC unit. 1) Installers were great. They wore shoe socks so they didn't track too much dirt inside the house. I don't know how they did it but they got this hulking HVAC unit up in the attic without causing too much damage to my walls. Yes, there were some chips and scratches but they were minor considering the amount of effort to get the HVAC unit up in the attic. 2) This Inverter unit is VERY quiet compared to my old HVAC unit. I can actually rest through the night without the initial kick start of the old unit. 3) After about 3 weeks after installation, I called Lee as the unit was beeping. It turned out to be a low battery (similar to fire alarm). Lees support was fast in response. Thank you. Now the negatives: 1) I did financing for this new unit and was told a certain interest rate. The agreed upon interest point was correct initially, but we had to correct one of my information in their system. Once this was corrected, it defaulted to a much higher interest rate. I tried to explain this to the finance person and to the loan originator (PowerPay) but there were no records of it in their system. Of course, it's my word against theirs. I told them the sales reps name and of course, they were not available. I asked in 3 different occasions about this but they were busy. I didn't have any proof of the rate other than the conversation we had in my kitchen. Lessons learned. Any contract that I get into going forward, I get a signature, a recording, or a photo. 2) The sales rep mentioned this Inverter unit is near 40% efficient compared to my old unit. It has been 2 months and if I compare electricity usage from like months. different years: July-2023 1212 kWh and Aug 2023 was 1604 kWh (not including gas) July-2024 1769 kWh and Aug 2024 was 1788 kWh Someone explain to me if you see any efficiency in the numbers above? To add, my thermostat setting for this new Inverter is set higher at 82 degrees compared to my old unit at 79. I was cautious since it was recommended to leave the thermostat ON at all times. The old unit start/stop was what used a lot of electricity. Do your homework, get multiple quotes, and don't take people's word at face value.
Had Lee's Plumbing come by and, I'm sorry, I was disappointed. Paid $49 for a short 20min talk. Lee's plumber just came out to give us quotes and that was pretty much it. Felt like he didn't even want to go in the house to look at the water heater. Didn't bother to do anything else except LOOK at the water heater and point out things he felt was maybe the issue (which is fine) but for $49 just to talk and get quotes was, IMO, a waste of time when that could've been done over the phone. Could've saved him the trip and us $49. Not to mention Lee's quotes was at least $300 MORE for pressure test and DOUBLE the price for a tankless than the other company. It was literally within 10 minutes he pulled out his tablet and started giving us quotes. Another concern was there was one thing Lee's plumber had mentioned and put in the quote that I thought was conflicting and misleading, based on my experience with my nephew's water heater several months ago (I was there to handle my nephew's water heater) with a different company and our experience and quote with the other plumber. If it's company policy then that's fine but say it's company policy, don't make it sound otherwise. We had another plumbing company come by in the morning before Lee's and THAT company was FREE and actually stayed and walked us through the process of a pressure test, what it would do to old pipes, his concerns and his opinions regarding our water heater. This plumber was more thorough and did more for FREE than Lee's plumber. (This plumber even glanced in the attic just to take a look at the gas pipes and walked outside to look at the gas meter.) Obviously we'll be going with this company for the tankless water heater. Their prices were more reasonable and their plumber, we felt, was more thorough and upfront and honest. I'm glad others had good experiences with Lee's. We're just disappointed with ours. We don't mind the $49 fee but if you're going to come out just to talk and leave in 20 minutes and not really do anything else, then just give the quotes over the phone and save everyone time.
Called Lee's to diagnose a problem with my electric water heater. As we are getting hot water in the shower and then goes cold after 5 minutes and getting a code 12 on a Rinnai water heater. The technician came out on an initial visit and couldn't fix the issue but then recommended an advance diagnosis to resolve the issue. So i went with the advance diagnosis for $440 to get the problem fixed or at least know the issue. The tech did not perform any diagnosis as he did not even try to get the code 12 to activate again (which can be done in 5 minutes by turning on the shower). He did not perform an inspection of the flame rods on the system to ensure that they were in good working condition. Nor did he provide a written service report on the work he performed. Feeling frustrated and seeing that this technician was not qualified to work on this water heater i called another plumber from a different company to do a diagnosis. He performed the basic by seeing the code activate and noted the issue. He then checked the system and inspected the flame rods. Noted that the flame rods had build up and cleaning them may resolve the issue. He cleaned the flame rods and low and be hold the issue was resolved. I will NOT RECOMMMEND Lee's for any of these water heating issues. They sent me an estimate of a new water heater cost. Had they performed a diagnosis they would have been able to discover this. I am currently requesting a refund as they did not provide any diagnostic report or anything that was checked. I advise people to be very cautious when dealing with them as you can tell from the initial visit on how good the technician is. After the initial visit i did request for a different person to perform the advance diagnostic but they sent the same unqualified technician out. I recommend more training.
On 1/3/24, an hvac technician came to secure a part of my heater in the attic. When he was done, he said that the carbon monoxide levels in the attic were higher than normal and that I could die because you can’t smell it. I said I have a carbon monoxide detector. He said it wouldn’t detect it because it’s below the heater. He said I needed to rebuild the heating system. I asked how much would that cost? He said between $6,000 and $10,000. He said he can get a second opinion from his supervisor. He called his supervisor on speaker phone who so happen to be in the same town at that time. I live in the outskirts of Fresno. The other technician comes and inspects the heater. When he was done he told me he noticed a leak right away when he went into the attic. He proceeds to tell me that I need to rebuild a whole new system. I asked how much would that cost? He said between $22,000 and $33,000. I requested for them to send me the estimate and invoice for the day’s service. I called the fire department and another company to check the carbon monoxide detector and levels. When the other company came to check and service my heater, they found no issues with my heater, no leaks, carbon monoxide levels were fine and carbon monoxide detector was working fine. I had to call Lee’s 3 times to get my invoice and I didn’t get it until about a week later. The first technician did not send me an email with his profile and he did not give me a call to let me know he was on his way. I felt they were using manipulation and fear tactics for me to spend thousands of dollars for a new system with their company. I will not do business with them.
DON'T USE THEM!!! I called Lee's out because my air conditioner stopped working during a 105 degree heat wave. The tech "got it running" and removed my air filters (I hadn't known where they were located so they were REALLY dirty), but when he was putting the cover on the furnace he touched a wire and shorted it out. He told me that the condenser was pulling too many amps both on startup and when it was running, he was unable to get it running again, and that I was going to need a whole new system. I was quoted $27,800 but the supervisor said he'd give me $2,000 off because he felt bad that my home warranty hadn't responded to me and I wasn't likely to get any contribution from them. I decided to sleep on it.... The next day the owner of another local company came out to assess my situation and saw that there was a connection in the furnace that wasn't put in all the way, and when he fixed it the blower came on. We moved on to the condenser and the only thing wrong with it was that it was DIRTY. He sprayed it off for me with the hose and my AC has been running great since. $225 total! Don't trust LEE'S! I've since learned that their main goal is to sell new systems to everyone, and I believe the tech that was sent out to fix my system actually disconnected a wire on purpose, knowing I was hot and miserable and in the end would probably do what I thought I had to in order to have AC. It makes me furious to think about how many people they have taken advantage, especially because one of them was almost me!
Lee's Air is responsive when you need services done and checked out. But they will take a while to make an appointment with you, if they did not pass city inspection. After they had installed a new water heater, it was missing the drain pan. The city inspector said they will send a copy of the notice to the company and Lee's will contact me for an appointment. I waited for 2-3 weeks and did not hear anything so I called to make an appointment. The person who helped me said she will notify the department that comes out and they will get in contact with me. Weeks go by, and I still don't get a call back so I called to make an appointment again. I asked why there was a miscommunication and why it took so long, but supposedly they don't get notifications from the city, I had to reach out myself. Lee's asked if I wanted to speak with a supervisor, but where is it going to get me really?! I am annoyed at this point because the person who is helping now, had no idea what happened the first time I called. I got my appointment done, then I received an appointment dated for today, and I texted back the correct date. Next, they texted the wrong information again, this time it was the wrong year, 2027. I called back with the number provided in the text and she confirmed my date, but this time, I didn't get a text about my future appointment. This looked very unprofessional for the admin staff and their company. My point is, I made a lump sum investment, why did it take so long to correct their mistakes...
I called this morning to report a service code message I received via email regarding our HVAC system. We were already scheduled for our HVAC routine maintenance later in the week, but the schedule was changed to address the error code and the maintenance in one stop. We got an email letting us know the tech, Jorge, was on his way. Then, we received a call, from Jorge, letting us know when to expect him. He arrived well within the scheduled time slot. When he arrived, he asked questions to assess the situation, let me know how he was going to proceed, and went about his business. He checked the system, thoroughly, including the duct work. Further, he checked the insulation under the house, and in the attic. From there, he made suggestions regarding enhancements for the betterment, and efficiency of the system. He was very efficient, thorough, and communicative. In this case, the office staff, and Jorge, worked in unison to provide the service that we’ve come to expect from Lee’s Air. They are customer driven, and we recommend them without reservation. Thanks, Jorge, and the Lee’s Air office staff!
Excellent tech support from Ricardo Salcedo addressing all of our concerns and educating on using our new system. His professionalism and concern for our understanding of the nuances of the heat pump system after changing from a gas furnace hvac system. Ricardo is a great technician as well as a good representative of Lees heating and hvac Service. After I have had the system for over a month, I noticed that during temperatures below 40 degrees, the system was not able to maintain or raise the temperature to the setting. This heat pump system does heat my home as expected and I am disappointed. I bought the $22,000 heat pump unit and learned a hard lesson. My old system was worn out and did use natural gas. In hindsight I should have just replaced the unit and not “upgraded”. I stand by my rating of the technicians and installers as being excellent but the system not so much. My advice, if you have a gas heater keep it as long as you can or just replace it. Trying to be a good citizen and be environmentally responsible cost money.
We had a leak in our roof that needed immediate attention, and Lee's Roofing responded quickly (that is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars). I asked them to cut back our valleys while they were out fixing the leak. The crew that came out did a poor job on the valley cutbacks, and left a few cracked/broken tile during the leak repair. I provided pictures to the company, and they had another crew come back out to take care of correcting the valleys and cracked/broken tile. They made the valley cutbacks look better than they initially made them look, but they definitely could have done a better job than they did. They also left two broken tile in place without replacing them. I decided to fix the two tile on my own, since it was obvious that the crew wasn't interested in providing the best service possible. The price for the services was not cheap, but I didn't have much room to complain considering the immediate need at the time. I would not recommend Lee's.
We had Lee’s come out to look at our heater as it has not been working the past two winters. They came out and the guy was on our roof for a little while, he took pictures and told us that we would need to replace the whole unit and that it would cost 18,000! He said that anyone else would just replace the two pieces that needed to be replaced but that it was a “fire hazard” to do so and they were not going to do it. We got someone else to come look at it and they quoted us 5000 to replace the unit but he said it did not need to be replaced and we were able to get the two pieces replaced instead of the whole unit. Please consider getting a second opinion if you’re hiring Lee’s as they like to scam women and overcharge.
