Our water heater had stopped working. Zach came out the day we called L&P, and was able to diagnose and correct the problem quickly. He even taught me how to do the diagnostics myself in the future. We felt very well taken care of. Highly recommended!
I talked to Zack yesterday and arranged for them to send out a plumber today to take a look at my problem, and give me an estimate My problem was a water main line leak near the house caused by tree roots, which had caused a pvc joint to break.. It was so bad, I was getting messages from Austin water about a possible leak based on my water consumption. I was having to turn off the water to the house at the curb valve, then turn it back on occasionally when needed. I had another plumbing company take a look yesterday and give me an estimate. They were pretty high and couldn't start until a day later. Victor from L & P plumbing came out this morning took a look at it, gave me an awesome estimate, and got started immediately digging down to find the problem. Victor had it repaired in about an hour, even with having to run to pick up a part he needed for the fix at Ferguson Plumbing supply. Now it works perfectly, and my wife is happy, so we are all happy! Victor did an awesome job quickly. I highly reccomend L& P for repair jobs like I needed done! Thank you L&P!
L&P Plumbing did a great job rerouting the water lines for a shower and installing the shower basin. Both services were quick and each time the work site was left more clean than when they arrived. Highly recommend
I wish I could give less than 1 star. We contacted Fabian through Home Advisor to fix a leak in a bathroom. This company was in a hurry to do the job without wanting to take care of the problem. So disappointed by their work or the lack of it. They just wanted to cover up the problem without resolving the issue. When I asked to speak to the owner, Fabian called me saying his name was Jeff. Is this a joke. Scary, do not trust.
Have used them on numerous occasions, and no problems with the work. Otoh, this time their technician failed to submit the paperwork in a timely fashion, which led to me missing their invoice for two days. They called, were rude about collecting payment (again, invoice received 48 hours ago), and wanted to argue about how they had every right to be rude about the time between the work happening, and receiving payment, despite the fact that most of that time was their failure to submit a timely invoice. I remitted payment faster than their technician managed to submit the invoice, and was remitting payment while the CS was lecturing me about not paying previously. Completely uncalled for hostility, and I won't be using them again. I can understand why a tech might be busy, and not submit their invoice, but I would expect the same understanding for a repeat customer who was repeatedly telling them they would pay the 2-day old bill immediately. And as you can see, they are tripling down on their right to act this way below in their response. I'm fine with the delayed invoicing, and I don't feel the need to belligerently lecture them over a slight delay. Wish they could do likewise, but clearly incapable. 48 hours delay is not a long time, and this argument is stupid.
My tenants just moved out and I found the toilet on the second floor master bedroom leaked when I flushed it from the tank. It's a very large and noticeable leak. This was on June 2, 2020. I called this company on March 28 because my tenant said there was a leak. They came over and instead of going upstairs to check where the leak came from, they cut a large hole in the ceiling to see wear the leak was. It turns out they could not find a leak. My tenants told them it must have been from the cleaning lady when she mopped the floor. I was informed of this by my tenant. My tenant told me that they (my tenants) caulked around the tub. I was charged $325.00 for a no leak. I don't have a problem with that. What I do have a problem with is I looked in the toilet and the water looked like it was in there for close to two months. It looked to me like the toilet hadn't been used at all since the plumbers came. I called him this morning and explained to him what I had found. I informed him that the water was very rancid in the toilet and it looked to be in there for approximately two months. I told him I flushed the toilet and that's when all the water leaked out from the tank onto the floor. I asked him if they checked to see if the toilet leaked before they were digging around downstairs to find a leak. My tenants were thinking it was the bathtub at that time. I believe they focused on the bathtub. My tenants and I had somewhat of a strained relationship the last couple months of their occupancy so I'm not blaming the plumber totally. I believe my tenant gave me false information and also gave the plumbers false information. But I believe where they made a mistake is they did not flush the toilet to see if there was a leak. That's my problem. It wasn't from the mop bucket of the cleaning lady. They didn't check the toilet. He would not come out and fix it at no charge. I told him I would use them again if he would come out, but he declined. I have several rental properties and could've used a good plumber, but he's not the one I'll use again.
I would give a 10 star review if I could! My daughter had a backed up sink drain. We had tried everything possible to clear the drain, but nothing worked. We called Abacus Plumbing, and they came out and worked trying to clear drain with no success. They said they were going to send someone out with a camera to see what was clogging the drain. They sent out David Jones with Abacus, who ran a camera down drain and said the ONLY fix would be to go underneath the house and replace cast iron pipes with PVC and reroute the pipe that was going to a disconnected septic tank. We explained that we had that work done several years ago, to which he replied that the work had NOT been done. He said he could do the work for a total of $51,699! I decided to get another estimate with Accurate Leak and Line. They sent out Clayton, who brought a camera out to check the pipes, and he told us the pipes were already PVC and he suggested we call a plumber to auger the drain. I asked Clayton if he could possibly suggest a plumber since I feel that Abacus was being VERY dishonest with us. He suggested L&P plumbing and said he knew they were a good and honest company. I called L&P and spoke to Fabian and explained. He said he would send Victor out to see if he was able to unclog the drain. Victor came out, and he and his crew unclogged the drain in about 5 minutes! Victor couldn't have been any nicer! He went into great lengths to fully explain every single detail. My daughter and I added this plumbing company to our contacts and WILL NEVER EVEN THINK ABOUT USING ANYONE ELSE FOR OUR PLUMBING NEEDS! I have NEVER experienced such a great experience with a plumber in my life! I could go on and on and on about what a great company with the best guys ever. From Fabian to my experience with Victor! I promise you, you will Never find a better plumbing company with such a caring staff! They are the BEST! Thanks again, guys, for all you do!
TLDR: I had to call the police to get their shakedown collector to leave my house. These guys use intimidation tactics to get invoices paid. When a family emergency set us back a week, they sent a large guy to the house who, despite the fact that one child was throwing up and I was on the phone scheduling their medical appointment and I was in my bathrobe, refused to leave until they had the invoice paid. I told them to leave and we'd get the invoice paid, and his response is that he would still be waiting at my house. It was intimidating as heck and a little scary and far more than I could handle with a spouse recovering from surgery and a throwing up kid. They also claimed the invoice had been three weeks late, although five days previous they were still troubleshooting their work and telling us not to worry about payment until it was resolved. So this guy - who would not allow me to answer the question about when the invoice would be paid (literally as soon as I could settle all the sick people in my house down long enough to get to a computer) talked over me and yelled and didn't allow me to answer him. I tried calling to explain later, and he did the same thing. People, I had to call the POLICE to get him to leave my porch. They then filed a police report against me for "theft of services". Over a one-week-old invoice. Which was overpriced. I'm so disappointed. The initial service technician was very sweet, although they talked me into something now I'm not sure I needed, given the collection tactics.

I had a cold-line leak under the slab that sent my water bill skyrocketing. After getting ripped off by another company that did a bogus “detection” with no answers, I finally found L & P Plumbing — and what a difference. From the start, their pricing was straightforward: a flat rate for leak detection and repair of one line, with transparent costs for any additional work. No games, no surprises. L & P sent out Victor and Zach, who were knowledgeable, professional, prompt, and completely transparent about their plan to detect and fix the leak. They kept me informed every step of the way. When they opened the wall and uncovered an unexpected issue, they came up with a smart and effective solution on the spot. The final price was exactly what they quoted — no hidden fees, no project creep, and very competitive. Most importantly, they got the job done right. I’m extremely happy with the work and with the integrity shown by L & P Plumbing and by Victor and Zach. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy plumber you can build a long-term relationship with — not just a quick, transactional fix. These guys are true professionals.
I needed my grooming tub hooked up to hot and cold water, and the drain. It was a pretty complicated job and the first set of plumbers failed right at the start thankfully, so I got to meet L&P plumbing. I asked my electrician and he suggested Victor. Man, am I relieved!! They did a fascinating job super fast and absolutely spotless. Victor and Alex work in harmony and do the highest quality job. We talked about what I needed and how it could be executed and they gave me an estimate and that was the final price as well. They provide what they promise. I can use my electric lift tub from tomorrow on and my back will be beyond happy about the work Victor and Alex did for me. If you are looking for a smooth and headache-free solution for your needs, call these guys!!! I am happy that now I know who to call when plumbing needs arise. No more nerve-wracking wait to see how it turns out! Give them a call and see for yourself! :)
Fabian and his crew at L&P Plumbing did me a major solid a few months back. I was having some work done on a bathroom that required the toilet to be removed. The company doing the work sent their guy over without telling me, which meant I had to scramble to find a plumber to remove the toilet with 0 notice. After striking out with a couple of other companies (one of which was pretty rude about it), I tried L&P because they were close by and have good reviews on here. Well, they've earned another good review from me! Fabian was able to get someone to the house in under an hour and, like the Nicolas Cage classic, that toilet was gone in 60 seconds. Best of all, he didn't even collect payment until I had scheduled the reinstallation. The service and the price were both excellent, and it gives me some real peace of mind knowing there's a good plumber I can call for future jobs. I highly recommend these guys!
Highly recommend L&P Plumbing! We recently hired them to replace all of our old cast iron pipes and sewer line. It was a huge and daunting job that was much less stressful than it could have been thanks to L&P. From the moment I reached out, Fabian was incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs. Victor knows his trade well and led an excellent team that is friendly, professional, qualified, and efficient. The excavation team worked quickly and afterward you could barely tell that our yard had been completely opened up to access the pipes. Victor and Brandon even went the extra mile to help us locate the source of an awful smell in one of our bathrooms that ended up being unrelated to plumbing. L&P does the job right and with integrity. We will definitely be reaching out to them in future with our plumbing needs.
A couple of months ago I got a quote from Fabien at L&P plumbing for a big job. He was very helpful and informative. My husband and I decided to put the job on hold until the spring. This past week, as you may know, Austin was hit with a major winter storm. We had a burst pipe and no water. Fabien originally told me he could send someone in about 4 days which I understood due to other people having it worse then we did. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call the next morning that he had someone in my neighborhood to send over. Victor came and checked everything out. Fixed the burst pipe, got our water back on and even got our hot water heater working. Fabien and Victor were so kind and helpful during a very stressful situation. I will definitely be using them again.
Have you ever dreamed of the “good ‘ol days” when tradespeople were honest & dependable? Well, this company is bringing those days back! I got bids & ball park figures from three different plumbers before choosing L & P Plumbing for my water heater issue. The other guys were sure I needed a new water heater (thousands !!), because mine is old . It just needed a new hose but it was difficult to reach. L & P offered up various scenarios & agreed to payments if I chose to replace my water heater. I loved their honesty , ( old water heaters were made better), & the ,” if it ain’t broke, don't fix it “ mentality:). Turns out they were able to fix the hose for a nominal price, & I’m thrilled! ! L & P will be my only plumber from now on ! ❤️
