After two failed attempts from other plumbers to fix my leaky faucet, I finally found someone who could solve the problem! Hugo and Sam arrived half an hour earlier than expected and worked very hard for several hours making sure everything was done properly, thoroughly and with care. They actually replaced several things for me in all of the bathrooms in my house in addition to the leaking sink, and it feels very nice to have it all upgraded and not have to worry about anything breaking anytime soon. 10/10. Thanks guys! I appreciate it!
Hugo and the team at King is truly the best in the business!! Hugo is the hardest worker and is determined to over deliver excellence & doesn't stop until the job is done right. From full install bathroom remodels, water filtration systems and mold removal to emergency care on my house, I trust Hugo, Jeff the Owner, Robert at the Supervisor level and the amazing ladies who help direct your calls from the moment they pick up the phone. I trust their work and their ethics. I know I can rely on them and will forever be my go to! If you have any plumbing needs...make them yours too!
Wow - I cannot say enough good things about this company. First off - when I called, Todd (at least I think it was Todd) he had me run through a series of tests to make sure the water heater actually needed to be replaced. Nobody else I called for a quote did that! Second - when we did need a replacement, it was a holiday weekend and no place with the unit was open - so they called to have someone open the distributers door so we didn't have to wait three days with cold water in winter! And third - Kelly Corrado, the service tech who came out to replace the water heater did a fantastic job! Whomever installed the last unit had done part of it incorrectly to save time. Kelly re-did the piping to make the installation correct, then came back out the next day to make sure everything was working properly. And we live up in the mountains! Amazing experience. I cannot recommend this company more.
Quoted $7,755. Final bill: $12,555 — a 60% increase. We agreed to move forward with a sewer lining project based on a written quote for $7,755, which clearly described the scope, access points, and installation approach. After spending a half day attempting to place the liner, the company stated they could not proceed as quoted due to “too many twists and turns” in the pipe and required additional access. They asked me to pay them $4,800 to install 3 new access points required to complete the job. I'm not a sewer expert by any means but I have watched more plumbers than I can count on my fingers scope my sewer lines with extreme precision. It was very hard for me to process their argument that this was "new scope" due to "unforeseen circumstances". Pipe geometry and access constraints are fundamental to sewer lining, and nothing about the condition or placement of the pipe changed after the quote was issued. The contract did not include any change-order terms, yet we were presented with a significant price increase once the project was already underway. I also suggested the company that we "split the difference" as this appeared to be their error in quoting the job rather than a true scope change, but they declined and also informed me that I should actually consider this a "good deal" since normally they would charge even more for the additional services they would be providing. Oh - and they were also going to let me off the hook for paying for their wasted materials from their first day of work. Very infuriating conversation.... While the work was ultimately completed, the pricing process felt misleading and left us with little practical choice but to approve a large, unplanned increase. I strongly recommend getting very explicit, written confirmation of all assumptions, access requirements, and pricing change policies before agreeing to proceed.
Simply awful. Horribly overpriced. Tried to upsell a $200 job to over $800 with unnecessary repairs. Slow (took over 3 hours), clunky process. Never again!
COVID-19 (impacted review) - team practiced social distance (didn't shake hands/etc) - able to replace water heater with minimal interaction with family - outlined that they are taking the virus seriously, and are taking precautions - I felt comfortable to proceed I don't often give five star reviews. Normally a four star is about as high as a business can expect. I love the pizza at Big Bill NY. . .but is it good as a Coal Fired White clam in Connecticut? No - so no five star for you big bill Todd's water heater is a rare exception. I contacted several businesses via yelp and Todd promptly replied. He outlined options and suggested a water heater I had not thought of (my old one was Rheem and that is all home depot sells). Reviewing the water heater online I found the reviews/feedback was similar to Todd's recommendation. They are ready to schedule quickly (since people have broken water heaters) but I had some time. Even during a pandemic and a snow storm they showed up within their window, and got the work done in the time. The price was exceptional . . .which was amazing since the service was so good. Todd beat the other offers I had. I also advise you to watch out for home depot. This isn't their dishwasher or appliance install. . .they toss you to a local business. . .I went to home depot a week ago. Within that week Todd contacted me, arranged a date, and installed. Home Depot hasn't called me back! Thanks Todd and team. Stay safe out there.
My experience with Todd's Water Heater Repair has been stellar since our first touch point with Chris over the phone. I was preemptively planning to have my water heater replaced since it was close to its end of life, and it's one less thing to worry about - if you're a homeowner you know what I mean. I was quoted a job amount, entertained other bids, and eventually decided to go with Todd's as they came in at a good price with all the items I needed addressed. The communication was straight-forward, no surprises (price changes) after or during the install. Mike and Emilio arrived when expected. They went straight to work and replaced with water heater with a new Bradford White unit, a few code updates, and replaced a valve that broke off. After the installation, Mike went over operational processes. We went over a few questions I had, and I paid via credit card. At the end of the visit I asked about a future project I have in mind and got a verbal quote plus some input on the moen water shut off valve I have been contemplating. I am happy with the overall quality of work, product and service. Todd's is a neighborhood company and I am happy to have utilized their services. Keep your local companies in mind when you're looking to have work performed on your home - they always work harder than the rest. We'll be in touch when I am ready with the next project. Thank you, TWHR team!
We had a wonderful experience with Todd's Water Heater Repair recently. Todd called us back right away after we put in an inquiry with him for a quote. He advised us that he would install other brands of water heaters, but that he would want a picture and look at our current set-up in our basement to see what would be 100% right for our situation. We only knew a little about replacement water heaters from what we had just learned from a local big box store, so Todd's expertise was invaluable, and we ended up purchasing a much much better, efficient water heater than if we had just relied our own limited knowledge to make the purchase. Todd arranged a date for his team to come out and offered a great price. His team was very courteous - no handshaking and safe distancing (coronavirus), job got done quickly, and best of all the new water heater is awesome! We have everything we wanted from the replacement - a new water heater that allows us to have plenty of hot water, and no competing with the dishwasher, clothes washer running at the same time. We have it all now with a great new unit. Highly recommended to anyone who needs a Water Heater repair or a new water heater! Five Stars.
Todd and his crew were OUTSTANDING from start to finish. I put out a bid request on some plumbing work to multiple business owners that came up on Yelp, and Todd was quick to respond, and his quote came in significantly lower than most. Some others were trying to charge $300-$400 for what ended up being a 1-2 hour job, which is like highway robbery given the straight forward work, which was just literally swapping one sink for one that was nearly identical. Todd came in very reasonably priced, and was even willing to go outside of his normal scope of work to get me taken care of, and he also got me scheduled in quickly. He kept up a good line of communication, and was very friendly over the phone. His tech arrived within the arrival window, and was super friendly, and even wore booties to protect my freshly refinished hardwood floors, which was an added bonus!! He took careful instruction of my needs, and executed on the job flawlessly. Our new sink looks fabulous, and I couldn't be more thankful for Todd and his team. I am absolutely going to consider his company for when we replace our water heater, and go tankless in the near future. Thanks for making one happy customer!
My kitchen drain completely stopped draining and has been so frustrating that I’ve not even been able to do my dishes without the sink filling up. It’s caused me many sleepless nights because I’ve been so worried that I wasn’t going to be able to afford to fix it. I called your company and spoke to Robert who was able to explain the options you offered and reassure me that you would do everything possible to resolve this problem and alleviating my worries. I called this morning and my drain was back in working order this afternoon. Rudy and Edward worked tirelessly for hours to clean the drain so that I could once again use it without any concerns. I can imagine their frustrations with the situation but they were very professional and never wavered with their determination to do everything they could to help me. You can be assured that I will refer your company to all of my family and friends who find themselves in this same situation or for any other plumbing problems they may have. These men are incredible employees and are definitely professional assets to the quality of services that are provided by your company.
I was in a pinch and needed my water heater and master bath shower looked at so I sent a message on Yelp to get local quotes. I chose Todd's based on their rating and by how friendly Todd was with his prompt responses. He was very accommodating and said his team can take a look at my issues-no problem . Alan, my assigned tech, reached out to me within hours and I got on his calendar the very next day. Alan and Juan were on time and super helpful with all my plumbing concerns. They drained my water heater and gave it a good tune-up and immediately resolved my issues. No messes either. Although they typically service bigger jobs like water heaters, Alan also took a look at my shower faucet since it had been dripping. 2 hours later they helped me with my water heater, shower leak, and helped me replace my kitchen faucet. A+++ service! I now have hot water, no more leaks within the master bath, and I love my new kitchen faucet. The best part? They were transparent, trustworthy, professional, and tactful through it all and my total bill was super affordable - all things that are hard to come by. Thanks guys!
I have worked with various plumbing companies for the past 15 years and this one is the best I've seen - no joke. I (obviously) had a water heater I needed to replace. It was about 17 years old so I was a bit panicked in regards to getting it replaced ASAP. I explained my urgency to them and they were out here the next day. As a female, it can be intimidating to get quotes and believe what people say in this industry. Their employees that come out are based on salary, not commission. Not only did they give me a killer price but I also received the highest quality water heater. It was INCREDIBLE for me to get an unbiased opinion - I'll go to them every time. He also helped me with my water pressure. I recently bought the house and the original homeowner messed with the pipes herself - I thought my new norm was to have a weak shower. They resorted my water pressure to normal :) The two guys who were out here were absolutely amazing - can't believe I'm blanking on the guys names (my bad). So caring, professional and helpful!! Thank you all - I'd highly recommend this company to anyone!!
My roommate and I woke up to a serious issue - no hot water!! With this recent drop in temps there was no way we were showering in the cold. After speaking with our landlord about options for getting the water heater checked out, we were referred to Todd's! Being fairly new at living in an actual home and not an apartment, this whole ordeal was incredibly daunting for us and we were nothing but worried about logistics and cost, especially being in an older home with a hard to get to heater. We called up Todd's and they were able to get a tech out to us very quickly. Chris was incredibly helpful and personable, being ignorant renters we were really relieved to receive great service. Chris quickly identified the issue and was able to fix it on the spot! Since it was a simple issue, the price was incredibly fair for the service. It's rare that you find this kind of service for the price! Plus, he went the next step to let us know of a couple ways to conserve on our water heater costs which is helpful for learning young adults. I call that a slam dunk in customer care.
When our water heater failed, we contacted our previous plumber but they did not return our call or E-mails. This left us in a bad situation. When I looked at Yelp and other review sites, I saw that the 2 vendors I normally see in my neighborhood both had under 3 star ratings. Then I found Todd's Water Heater Repair with 4.9 stars and they work in Arvada. I trust review sites more than marketing so I gave them a call. The person I worked with understood that I was without hot water and gathered some information about what I have, what I am looking to replace it with and then asked for a few specific pictures of my water heater and install area. Within an hour I heard back from Mike who was very patient and knowledgeable. Mike worked with me on a few options that my spouse and I were working through and by that evening had come to an agreement. The next day, Mike came out and installed an American made water heater that works great. I have no reservations about recommending Todds Water Heater Repair for all of your water heater needs, they are great!
Blown pipe, after pipe and these guys don't give up. They search and repair until it's nearly done anyway. Jonathan and Dan were some of the best plumbers I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Jonathan explains everything, gives the options available with safety in mind and helps you make informed decisions without pressure. A bit pricey considering I finished up repiping my entire house with another company at nearly half the price King Rooter gave. I feel it only fair to update this upon finding quite a mess in one area. Due to a leak the ceiling had fallen in but the wall behind the mirror was intact. They removed the mirror and removed the wall. I'm showing before and after pictures. It appears one of the plumbers was a bit reckless with the saw and wall removal, creating quite the mess to the adjoining drywall where a cut was also made that wasn't necessary. I find it necessary to reduce my rating due to such work. Other areas in the house had cuts that were unnecessary as well but the tearing and ripping on this wall wasn't necessary at all.
