Charles did an excellent job! He really knows his stuff when it comes to septic systems and gave me helpful advice about how to prevent issues with the leech field that can come up after years of use. I was also impressed with how quickly and professionally everything was handled. At a time when plumbing costs seem to keep going up in Boulder, King Family Plumbing & HVAC offered rates that were much more affordable than other companies I looked into. The team was also very polite and always kept me updated about the plumber’s arrival time if there were any delays. Overall, I’ll definitely call them again for any plumbing needs and would happily recommend their services to others.
We recently had a great experience with King Family Plumbing & HVAC here in Boulder. Communication throughout the whole process was clear and helpful, which really put us at ease. After setting up an appointment to have our plumbing lines checked and our drains cleaned, we got a confirmation call the day before. Charles, the plumber, gave us a heads-up call when he was on his way, so we knew exactly when to expect him. After the work was done, we even received a follow-up call to make sure everything was working properly and that we were happy with the results. The plumbers were very professional—explaining what they were doing, sharing photos of the work, and making sure everything was tested before finishing up. We’re very satisfied and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing plumbing help in Boulder.
I usually don’t leave reviews, but I wanted to share my experience with a plumbing company here in Boulder. Charles and his team showed up on a late Sunday when we really needed help. We had a group of about 20 family and friends coming over, and suddenly our kitchen sink started backing up with dirty water from the dishwasher and wouldn’t drain. Our plumbing lines aren’t the best—they don’t have much slope and have several sharp turns, so this kind of clog happens every couple of years. Charles went up on the roof and used the vent stack to jet the lines clean, which was much more effective than just using a snake through the trap. He made sure there was no mess or bad smell left in the house. What really impressed me was that this was a last-minute, same-day call on a Sunday, but they didn’t charge any extra fees for coming out right away. They did a more thorough job than any plumber I’ve worked with before. I’ve saved their number and am already planning to have them help with our basement bathroom project soon.
Do not use this plumber. They just connect you to a non-local rooter service without telling you. That other company called elite rooters lost my order and I lost my day waiting around for them.
i called king family plumbing & hvac after having some big issues with leaking toilets. before, i tried to save money by hiring a cheap plumber, but that only made things worse—the leak just got bigger and water even got into the basement. this time, i didn't want to risk it, so i called the pros. pedro and charles came out to check out the leak from my upstairs bathroom that was dripping down to the first floor. they swapped out both toilets and redid all the seals for the first and second floor. what really impressed me was how pedro, who's a master plumber, could spot right away that the problem wasn't just the toilet seal. he suggested we open up the ceiling to figure out exactly where the leak was coming from. i agreed, and it turned out he was totally right—the real issue was some really bad plumbing work done before i bought the house. the old pipes were just pushed together, wrapped in plastic, and covered with tar, which had started to wear out and leak badly. this was a serious fix that needed to be done right, and i'm so glad i had them on the job. pedro and charles measured everything and made a list of what they needed, then came back the next day with jerry to get it all fixed. they worked all day, carefully redoing the floor flanges, installing new toilets, and making sure everything was solid and up to code. i had to leave for a bit to run errands and pick up my son, but they were super professional and respectful of my house and property. i even have nanny cams and saw how focused they were on their work, not touching anything they shouldn't. when they finished, the plumbing was perfect and done the right way. i took pictures before fixing the ceiling just to show how great their work was. now everything is up to code and working like it should. if you want a plumbing job done right by folks you can trust, call king family plumbing & hvac. i feel totally confident leaving them in my home and know the job is going to be done right.
I recently needed a plumber to finish a repair that another person could not get to for quite a while. I am careful about who I let into my home, so I asked a close friend which plumbing service her family trusts. She and her husband both recommended Charles, saying he is a really nice guy and does solid work. That turned out to be exactly right. I had already missed a lot of work because of illness, so I really did not want to miss more time. They were very helpful and worked around my schedule, and they were able to set up service for the very next day. Two technicians came out, and both were friendly, respectful, and efficient. It was clear they knew plumbing systems well and got the job handled without wasting time. Before they left, I asked them to check another spot where I had noticed a small leak. I am very glad I mentioned it, because they found a split in one of the copper pipes overhead that had heavy corrosion and could have turned into a much bigger plumbing problem. They explained everything in simple terms and made sure I understood what needed attention. What I appreciated most was that Charles was honest and low pressure. I had mentioned that an older retired handyman had done a little work for me earlier, and instead of pushing for more business, he even told me what to share with the other person if I decided to go that route. That kind of honesty is hard to find. Because of the great service, I had them come back the following week for more plumbing work, and I was just as pleased the second time. The whole experience was smooth, professional, and stress free. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing reliable plumbing repairs, leak detection, or pipe work, and I would gladly use them again.
I almost never take time to post reviews, but I really wanted to share how thankful I am for Pedro and Jerry. I had a very good experience with both plumbers after buying an older home in Boulder that had some indoor drain and pipe problems. The plumbing lines were not supported correctly, so the pipes were not level and did not have the right slope for proper water and waste flow. Jerry came out to my house, introduced himself, and carefully inspected the issue. He took time to point out the problem, explained in simple terms why it was happening, and answered all of my questions. He also went over the repair choices with me, including trying a hydro jetting service to clear the line or replacing the damaged section of pipe if needed. After the inspection, Pedro sent over a clear estimate and made the next steps easy to understand. Jerry returned the next day with Pedro, and both of them got right to work. They first tried a high-pressure water jetting machine to clear the blockage, but the clog was too severe, so they replaced the affected pipes instead. Pedro worked with me to make sure the plumbing repair was completed the same day, which I really appreciated. Both plumbers were skilled, respectful, and professional from start to finish. They did quality work in my home, kept me informed during the whole process, and made sure the drainage system was working the right way before they left. I would absolutely recommend Pedro and Jerry to anyone in Boulder who needs an experienced plumber. Pedro was fair, honest, and focused on making sure the job was done correctly, and Jerry did an excellent job as well.
This is a great locally owned plumbing business in Boulder. Jerry, one of the owners, was very friendly, easy to talk to, and made the whole process simple. Their prices are fair and competitive compared to other plumbers I checked with. I never felt like they were trying to upsell me or push for repairs I didn’t need—in fact, Jerry even talked me out of spending money on unnecessary work. That really showed me they care about their customers, not just making a quick buck. We had our sewer and supply lines replaced and re-piped, which is a big and time-consuming job. I called around to several other plumbing companies in Boulder for quotes, but this company gave the best price by a long shot. Some other plumbers didn’t even want to take on such a big project, but these guys handled it without any complaints. Throughout the project, the plumbers who came to our house—Pedro and Wayne—were professional, trustworthy, and respectful of our home. They got the job done right and made sure everything was tidy when they finished. Whenever I had questions, the staff was always happy to help and explain things in simple terms. They never made me feel like I was asking too much. If you want something specific, like choosing between copper or PEX pipes, just let them know—they’re always open to your preferences and will guide you through the options. Overall, I’m really happy with the work and service we received. If you need plumbing work in Boulder, I highly recommend this team. They’re skilled, reliable, and offer great value for the quality of their work.
After finishing a long remodel of our home, we woke up to find that our main sewer line was badly clogged, leaving our master bathroom, guest bathroom, and kitchen all out of order. We called first thing in the morning, and the helpful lady who answered quickly scheduled a plumber to come out within a couple of hours. Wayne arrived right on time, took a look around, and gave us two options: a cheaper fix that might only last a while, or a proper repair to solve the problem for good. We chose the long-term solution. Wayne explained everything clearly and said he'd return soon with the right equipment and another plumber, Charles. They both showed up as promised, checked the property, and got right to work. They spent a few hours snaking the pipes and using a camera to inspect the lines. Once they saw the blockage, they used a high-pressure jet to clean the pipes thoroughly. Afterward, they ran the camera through the pipes again to make sure everything was clear. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves, and both plumbers were very friendly and respectful of our home. The service was excellent and the price was fair. We highly recommend this plumbing company and would definitely call them again for any future plumbing needs, though hopefully we won't need to!
when our 75-gallon gas water heater started leaking, i remembered that our trusted plumber, charles, had mentioned a good local plumbing company. the service manager, pedro, showed up the same day i called, and both my wife and i were really impressed by how clearly he explained all our options, like choosing between a traditional tank or a tankless water heater. we talked to another plumbing company too, but after speaking with pedro, it was obvious we wanted to stick with his team. on pedro’s advice, we decided to go with a rinnai tankless water heater. the installation took place over two days—one for setting up the plumbing connections, and another for venting the unit. wayne and charles handled the job with real skill and were both very polite. wayne came both days and is definitely a fantastic plumber. he took his time with the copper piping, and the finished work looked almost like a piece of art. charles did great too, especially with the tricky venting work on our steep roof. everyone at the company, including the receptionist, was friendly and helpful. overall, we couldn’t be happier with the plumbing service and would recommend them to anyone needing water heater help in colorado, especially with how the winters can get cold here.
King Family Plumbing & HVAC is fantastic for plumbing work. don’t call anyone else if you need a plumber. i called about a pinhole leak in the PEX line running through the attic and down to my shower, and the office team was very kind and quick to respond. Not long after, they called back and let me know a technician could arrive soon. when wayne and pedro got here, they were polite, professional, and easy to talk to. They inspected the leak, explained the plumbing issue in simple terms, and let me know they could repair it right away. They also provided a free estimate, just as advertised. They walked me through what needed to be done with the PEX tubing, answered my questions, and made the whole repair process feel easy. charles and the crew did excellent work, were friendly and considerate, and handled everything with real care. They cleaned up after the job, made sure the shower line was working properly, and checked that there were no other concerns before leaving. payment was quick and easy with electronic invoicing done on site. This is a top-notch plumbing and HVAC company with great customer service, fast response time, and quality workmanship. i was very impressed with how smooth and professional the whole experience was.
We found standing water in our basement over the weekend and later traced it to a broken main water line near the front of the house. I called a few plumbers, and this team answered right away. Wayne asked for a few photos of the basement and the main shutoff area so he could understand the plumbing problem before arriving. Wayne came out quickly, checked the leak, and tried to stop the water at the source. When that was not possible right away, he set up a sump pump to control the water and help protect the basement until the excavation crew could begin the pipe repair. The next step was organized well, and the crew prepared the area so the work could be done safely and with as little disruption as possible. The plumbing team arrived as scheduled with the right equipment, excavated the area, repaired the main line, and restored the concrete afterward as agreed. They were professional, efficient, and kept us informed through the whole process. In Boulder, having a reliable plumbing company matters, and this crew handled a major water line issue with skill and urgency. Their follow-up, communication, and overall workmanship were excellent. I would gladly recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing or water line service.
My experience with this plumbing company in Boulder was excellent! Jerry and his son came out to my home to do a pressure test on the pipes before I started any structural repairs. They were recommended by another contractor for being detailed and reliable. Before setting up the appointment, I spoke with someone from their office who clearly explained the cost of the pressure test and what would happen if they found a leak. She let me know that finding the exact location of a leak or doing repairs would cost extra, depending on the tools needed, and she gave me clear estimates so I could plan my budget. They were able to schedule me for the very next day. When Jerry arrived, he was friendly and made everything easy to understand, taking the time to explain each step of the process and why it was important for my plumbing system. I appreciated how honest and upfront he was about everything. Thankfully, no additional tests or repairs were needed. Jerry sent me a detailed report by email that same day. I’ll definitely recommend this plumber to my friends and family in Boulder!
my technicians were as professional and accommodating as i could have hoped for. after a tough cold-weather stretch in Boulder, i had several plumbing problems at once, including needing a new water heater and fixing issues with the water filter line. i live in a remote area, and access was still difficult, but jerry and charles made the trip without hesitation and worked hard to reach my home. once they inspected everything, they found that the old water heater and filter setup had been installed the wrong way before. they took the time to rework the whole system properly, explained the plumbing repairs in simple terms, and handled the installation with care and a smile. they also helped clear a refrigerator drain issue, even though it was only loosely related to plumbing, because they could tell i really needed the extra help. these guys were great from start to finish. they went above and beyond, showed real skill with the water heater and drain work, and made a stressful situation much easier. very competent, kind, and dependable plumbers.
A plumbing team really saved the day for me. I had first hired another plumber for a large drain line job around my home, but the work was done poorly and left me stressed out and unsure how to fix the problem. After searching for a highly rated plumbing service, I found this company, and they were helpful from the very beginning. The whole crew was professional, courteous, and easy to talk to. Pedro even came out personally to look things over, explain the drain and sewer line work, and make sure every question I had was answered clearly. That kind of care and attention made a huge difference. They corrected the drain line issue, walked me through the repair process, and made me feel confident that the plumbing was being handled the right way. Their pricing was also very fair, especially compared with the other plumber I had hired before. It is clear they care about honest service, quality workmanship, and treating customers right. I definitely recommend getting a few plumbing estimates, but this is one of the good ones.
