I've used John R Plumbing multiple times and John is always reliable, fast, and has good prices. He is always extremely polite and professional. When my wife and I returned from vacation, we heard the old sump pump running constantly, but when I checked the pit was almost empty. I contacted John and he came by the same day to diagnose the problem. He determined the switch had failed and he was able to get a new sump pump ordered and installed in a couple of days. I strongly recommend John R Plumbing for whatever plumbing issues that you may have in northern Virginia.

John replaced my main shut off valve and the hose bib winterizing valve. His work was excellent! He's professional, conscientious, and his prices are reasonable. He has a strong work ethic. He followed up a few days later just to be sure I was happy with the work he completed and to arrange a time to come by and check everything himself. You don't find that very often! While I was doing basement and patio construction with another company, we discovered a serious leaking problem. I was extremely stressed out for a couple of days trying to figure out what to do. Thankfully, my friend referred me to John, and his service was simply amazing. John has deep knowledge of plumbing, and thanks to his expertise, we uncovered additional issues with the overall plumbing structure that had been missed before. He was able to fix everything promptly and professionally. I’ve worked with many plumbers in the past, but I was never fully satisfied. However, John’s detailed diagnosis and clear explanations made me feel completely comfortable and confident in his work. Even with his busy schedule, he always tries to give his absolute best to us. John genuinely cares about solving the problem and treats every job as if it were his own home. His dedication, honesty, and attention to detail truly set him apart. Our kitchen sink drain has been backing up sporadically over the past few months and it was completely clogged, not letting the water drain. I could not use the sink at all nor could I run the dishwasher that was connected to the drain. John came by within a few hours and surveyed the issue very thoroughly. He explained the possible cause of the clog and ensured us that the problem will be resolved. He used industrial grade clog remover gel and poured boiling water over the sink. Within 20 minutes, the backed up water in the sink drained completely and the pipe was unclogged. Thankfully we didn't have to remove any pipes or use machines to unclog the drain. John was very courteous throughout the process and professional with his service. I highly recommend John and his service for any plumbing issues at home.

If you're looking for peace of mind, John Plumbing is the company I recommend. I had to have my fluid master, flapper, and bolts replaced. I had called several places to come out because the toilet was constantly running, and none were available for same-day appointments. It was a minor emergency that I could no longer keep with a temporary fix. I found John Plumbing through Home Dept Pro Referral and was impressed with how fast John followed up. After researching different contractors, I reached out to John. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. The pricing was fair, and he even provided information on a totally separate, non-plumbing-related issue. I could make the appointment I had scheduled that afternoon without delay, and I am beyond grateful for John's kindness and expertise. Highly recommend.

John was amazing. We have a brand new customer lounge that seemed to take forever to finally get finished and opened. Then no more than two weeks in we have a sewer backup due to people putting paper towels in the toilet. What a disaster. Panicking I started calling around and John called me back quickly unfortunately it was late in the day and they were not able to make it out that evening, but as promised they showed up first thing in the morning and had us back up and running quickly. We're stay pretty busy with lots of traffic in our lobby. John helped minimize downtime and the rest of our team to stay on schedule. A thousand thank yous and pleasantly surprised when he sent over the final invoice!! John is now saved in my contacts and is my go to for all my needs and anyI can recommend him to.

John and his team removed the old double vanity and installed the new double vanity which required cutting granite to fit in the existing space. They installed 2 new faucets (3 pieces each) and valves perfectly with no leaks. They were punctual, clean, they knew what they were doing and the work turned out beautiful. They finished in about three hours time which is exceptional considering that we added an incompletely installed additional sink vanity that was not factored into the original estimate, but which did not add significantly to the ending price and we were very happy and pleased with that. I would rate John R Plumbing more than 5 stars if I could, and will definitely count them for all my future plumbing needs.

Extremely professional and communicative. I was shocked at the responsiveness and timeliness alone, but when he made a full assessment realized the scope of work was going to include more drywall than we imagined- he was careful to preserve the pieces to put back. Very very impressed by the level of detail- and despite taking longer than we estimated, still charged the same. This will be my only phone call next time I need plumbing. Oh… and at the end he knew I was going to do some work myself- so he stuck around to offer some advice on next steps, even leaving a few pieces of PVC just in case I needed references when I went to the hardware store.

John provides very good plumbing services. He has good troubleshooting skills and identifies the root cause of the problem and provides options before fixing the problem. He leaves the job site clean and tidy after the job is done. John is very responsive with his communication and is very punctual with his appointments. Over the past 4 months, John provided his services to fix a broken hose bib, replace a water heater and to identify and resolve a water leak in the basement. Very satisfied with his work on all the three jobs. I will highly recommended John’s plumbing services to anyone looking for a very good plumber.

Home Depot, Reached out John has one of the contractors who works for Home Depot. I had about 6 contractors who name that was given to me. John was the first contractor who reach out to me. I needed a water line ran to the new refrigerator I was receiving. John and I spoke and we setup a time to come over Monday morning. John was on time and he came in and checked the waterline. We discovered there was already a waterline there and he didn’t need to do anything. If I need any work done John will be the person I we’ll reach out to. Thanks John for you service.
