We had a pipe burst recently and called Jim Dhamer Plumbing for the repair. Tom and Caden arrived as scheduled and completed the job quickly and efficiently. They were super professional, the workmanship was excellent, and the price was great! I think we found our lifelong plumbing company for future needs! Highly impressed!
I called about 13 plumbers to get a quote for a non-emergency job, a sump pump swapping. To the best of my knowledge, I had a relatively predictable job considering the nature of the house. About half the plumbers I called refused to give me a quote over the phone, understandably so since most homeowners don't know a lot about their house's plumbing. Of the remaining half who were willing to give me quotes over the phone, every single one was more than twice the price of what Jim Dhamer Plumbing Inc. quoted. The person I talked to on the phone, Tammy, immediately understood the nature of the work I needed and gave me a very fair estimate and did not try to oversell me on extra bells and whistles. The day of the scheduled work (today) was the coldest day of the year yet. We had been warned that they might cancel due to other plumbing emergencies, but they didn't. They showed up on time; the two guys that came were Lorenzo and Tom. Both were super friendly, professional, and clean. The work so far seems to have been done well, and I'm happy! I highly recommend this business and will call them again for future plumbing needs.
Our plumber, Adam, was awesome! Friendly, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. We had four odd jobs and he was able to tend to them all, including replacing parts. Fair pricing, quick service - highly recommend.
I tried to make an appointment to have my toilet looked at. The woman who initially answered the phone was kind and patient. She explained that there was no availability this week due to emergencies but said she would open a ticket for me. I told her that was fine since my issue was not urgent and I could wait. The next day, she called back and offered a same-day window from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. I explained that I would need to leave my house by 1 p.m. She then transferred me to a plumber, who was extremely rude and sounded very irritated. He said, “Ma’am, I can’t just show up for two hours and expect to be done right away. It doesn’t work that way.” I replied that today wouldn’t work, and he immediately hung up on me without allowing me to say anything else or offering to reschedule. I called back and spoke to the original representative, simply asking to cancel my ticket because the plumber had hung up on me. Her response was just, “Oh, okay.” Based on the reviews, I’m sure they do good work, but this interaction was very unprofessional. If this is how potential new customers are treated, I wanted to share my experience so others are aware.
I have had to call Dhamer Plumbing twice in the last year for emergency issues. Both times, they made sure that they fit me into their busy schedule and arrived within hours to solve the issues. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I am very happy that I found this trustworthy business.
