JD Plumbing did an excellent job replacing our water heater. Communication was clear, they showed up on time, explained everything, and the work was done efficiently and professionally. The crew respected our property and left everything clean highly recommend and would absolutely use them again.

Love this company! Jeni calls you back and gets you answers fast. Great work and very reasonable prices, prompt, and clean work. Jeff is a very nice guy and does excellent work, but the prices are outrageous! I paid $460 to have our tankless hot water heater flushed out. Per Google the Average cost is $150–$350. I paid the bill and it was my fault for not asking for an estimate price before they came out. It costs less to pump my septic tank and cart away all of the contents than to run some chemicals through my tankless and wait. I even ran all the water through the faucets because the two employees, Mike and Ben, did not have protective shoe coverings on and I did not want them walking on my carpet. I know you have to pay your staff and inflation has caused prices to go up, but I am just in shock! Wow!

When we called for information on pricing to have a leak fixed. We said the source appeared to be coming from the wall behind our sink. We were told $180 the first hour and $120 dollars for each subsequent plus materials. 2 people showed up for the job. The plumber told us they needed to trace the leak. To do this, 2 holes were cut into the kitchen ceiling with no luck. They then followed behind the sink where we originally felt water and explained we thought was the source of the leak. When the job was complete and we received our bill, we questioned why we were charged $180 for each of the 4 hours. We were told it was because there were 2 guys. It was never disclosed to us that there was an additional $60 charge for the second guy. We are not questioning the need for the second guy. We were under the assumption that we were being charged the rate we were told so were a bit surprised when we were told this. We also brought in to question the website which we now know also apparently shows the incorrect pricing for additional hours. There were many other plumbing companies with much more history and reviews online, but we went with JD plumbing to support local small business. We will not make that mistake again. We did speak to the owner before posting this. He explained the reason for 2 people and we explained why we were startled when we saw the bill. You cannot claim to be an honest business with what turns out to be misleading pricing on the website and not notifying the customer until after the job when the receive the bill after the fact. I do not want to post this but other should be aware of the service they will be receiving. Updated 8/21/23: I would now update to zero stars if it was possible. It has barely been 4 months and the $850 "fix" is now leaking worse than it was before which has caused damage to the house.

Jeff and his crew are so pleasant to work with & the quality of the work is excellent. JD’s Plumbing(Westlake, Ohio) has made my stressful plumbing issues non-existent. I can’t thank them enough!!! I already have them booked for 2 more major plumbing projects. Unless I move out of Cleveland, Ohio I will never hire another plumber again. I found their rates to be very fair as well. ***ATTENTION: ANGELETIA MILLER***. I noticed you are from New Carlisle, OH which is over 3 hours away. You have the WRONG JD’s Plumbing so you might want to delete & repost on the correct companies website. There are a lot of JDs Plumbing that pop up...I actually posted to wrong company initially! From the phone call at 3:40 pm day before NYE, to the guys who showed up, I could tell this company cared about their customers. Though I was new to them, the empathy Jenny expressed towards our situation was evident! She listened with empathy, called 2 of her guys who just happened to be on a call not too far away and called me back, as promised, with the promise they would swing by and assess our situation. Not only did they come by within 20 minutes of my call, they jumped into action and went the extra mile to restore plumbing to our toilets within 40 minutes from when they started. I can tell this is a company who cares about their customers. Its hard to find people who care as much as these folks did today to get our problem fixed. They have earned our trust for future business and many referrals to come. Thank you!

I went through contractor hell for the third and last time in my life. A complete gutting and renovation of over 3200 SF.a Kitchen and 4 baths JD's Plumbing was a welcomed oasis. Unlike everyone else, they showed up when they said they would. Worked non-stop until all the work they could do was done., were flexible on the fly when I changed my mind and didn't let anything go questionable. They were here to work with the inspector. Conducted themselves professionally and went out of their way to make sure I was happy. even nearly a year later. They show up on a dripping sillcox repair it and refused to let me pay for it. Seriously high end work, for high end homes for people who want it done right and on time by professional real businessmen. I can't say enough.

JD's plumbing came through for me at a very difficult time when no other company would reply over the holiday weekend. I had a major gas leak at my house. The owner himself dropped everything to come help. They were very polite and professional. He walked me through everything that needed to be done so I fully understood everything. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and down to earth. I have had issues with major companies in the past and I regret not finding this gem of a company sooner. I would highly recommend JD's plumbing to family and friends or anyone in northeast Ohio that wants a job done efficiently and not have the run around or marked up prices of most other plumbing companies. If you need work done expediently and correct these are your guys!!

This person showed up in unprofessional manner,vehicle, clothing etc! Was hired to install a water line hookup for a refrigerator. He refused to pull out the refrigerator to do the installation first and first most! This was the actual nature for the job to begin with! Overcharged for the parts! Demanding payment immediately! I obtained the payment and left! Requesting that the 79 year old man who hired pull it out instead! OUTRAGEOUS! AFTER several family members realized what took place and investigated his reviews and business he was called and the remaining appointment was canceled! This person used foul language and tried to guilt trip this senior about his schedule!! DO NOT HIRE! UNRELIABLE AND ABUSIVE TO SENIORS!

These guys were awesome! Very flexible with scheduling and arrived on-time. We had a Flo by Moen smart water shut off installed as well as a bathroom leak looked at and repaired. They were very knowledgeable with what was done previously and provided information as to how to fix it. The work was completed efficiently and their work was clean and effective. In addition to their plumbing skills they had great people skills and were polite (wearing protective shoe coverings each time coming in and out of the house). My 3 year old son wanted to "help" the plumbers and they were so nice to him, even gave him a fitting to look at so that he felt important. We've found our plumber for the future!

Jeff is very professional, he is reliable and on time and he is very knowledgeable and explains what he is doing , he answered questions about a dishwasher I need installed and gave me good reccomendations. He is very neat and does excellent clean up. I will be using Jeff for my future plumbing needs Yolanda Khouri Today 5/3/24 Jeff sent out John and Troy to install water shut off device that Jeff recommends from Moen, this device can alert you to leaks before they happen. John & Troy are very professional, they explain what they are doing thoroughly, and their work is neat & clean, very personable guys. We recently bought a home and within the first week we experienced water back up in the bathroom. The JD team showed up that same day an hour after I called and went above and beyond to fix the problem. As a first time home buyer I was so nervous about hiring help, especially afraid of being taken advantage of financially. But that didn’t happen at all, they were very transparent, knowledgeable and understanding. Got the job done quickly, gave me my options moving forward and were pretty fun to chat with! Jeff even stopped by and talked to my home warranty company and set everything straight! Support your local Business and with this company you won’t be disappointed! Thank you guys!

Our sewer was backed up and flooding in our basement (GROSS) We called JD Plumbing early on Monday and by the afternoon JD was out repairing the sewer line. Jeff was really professional, answered all of my questions, cleaned up after he was done. His price was comptetive with other suggested estimates. He even pointed out another potential problem we have coming down the pike, which will utlimately save us money. I am so grateful that we will be able to use our sinks and flush our toilets today. Can't put a price tag on that luxury. And that the smell is gone. I will be using them for all of our future plumbing needs.

We had a pipe crack due to the freezing temps. I called JD's plumbing about an hour before they closed for the day. We had no water in the house and they couldn't get me in until the next day in the afternoon. I think she heard the panic in my voice and called me back to let me know she switched things around and they would be here first thing in the morning at 8am. Seriously top knotch customer service just for that alone. They were here the next day, got the job done very well and it was so affordable! I even questioned the amount thinking they forgot a zero 😂Hands down, will always call JD's for my plumbing needs!
