Jose diagnosed our sewer problem and fixed it. He arrived quickly and did excellent work for a reasonable price.

Jose was very thorough with his work. Highly recommended! He worked on our Noritz for 4 hours to descale, clean filter and troubleshoot the problem that cropped up in between. The previous company that installed our Noritz didn’t install a local shutoff valve, glad Jose recommended we did that. Thank you! He showed us how to clean and descale ourselves, he said it’ll save $300 per year. Not sure we’ll have time so we will likely get him to do it for us when it’s time. Great communication and very timely. No need to call anyone else, choose JC!

The owner of this business does not respond to messages over a week that I left. I have been calling him each day to get some clarification on the water heater that he suggested me to buy from a supplier. I had called him many times each day, which is ridiculous that he never had a courtesy to respond to one of my messages. Good thing I did not hired him and today I had to hire another plumber. I will not recommend this business.

Horrible experience with trying to get hold of this business after initial conversation with the owner of the business for a water heater replacement. I had called him many times over a week now and left many messages as I had a question on the water heater before I purchased it from the supplier. He didnot returned any of my calls and nor did he texted. He doesnot have good business ethic as I have been waiting for a week. Good thing I didnot had this experience after the installation was completed and when I had any issues with my water heater. I decided to hire another company to do the job and who are responsive and helpful. I will definitely not recommend this company.

Guys....not to be confused with J.C. Plumbing AND Rooter...they are separate companies??? eesh.... WHOA! May have just found my plumber for life. My renter in the basement's sump pump malfunctioned on Friday afternoon and as a result, she couldn't use the toilet because it would back up (nothing was getting pumped up and, well, you know...). I called the plumber who installed it and he wasn't available until Monday morning (which turned to Monday at 11:30 am). This plumber came and took a look at it and said there's grease built up inside it and that he couldn't remove it because he doesn't do grease removals. I called around to SIX (6!) different companies and almost no one could do it because it was a septic tank with grease except for one septic tank specialist company (A1 in Hayward) who wanted to charge me $1000 (!!!!) to clean it (seriously WTF b/c the whole sump pump and installation cost $950 two years ago). But I didn't give up. Luck number 7 company that I called I found on google who ranked first (I forget what I googled...something with septic tanks). 1) Jose the owner picked up the phone EVEN WHEN HIS WIFE WAS SCHEDULED FOR C-SECTION later on in the day (Grats on your new baby Jose!!!...can't wait to see the pics!) Seriously...who does this. 2) He was calm, knowledgeable, and came up with an innovative solution to clean the sump pump that honestly no one other company offered as a solution. 3) He sent his brother over just a few hours later and he quickly, cleanly, and professionally completed the job as described! 4) $225 out the door (WUT!) ...I've never been happier spending $225! THANKS JOSE! I'm using you guys again in the future! Highly, highly recommend!

I would urge others to be cautious when considering this company. They were performing services at our neighbor's home when an incident occurred involving my husband's company van, which was parked in front of our side street parking. From our front window, I observed one of the workers repeatedly pushing and pulling my husband's van side mirror back and forth. The movement triggered the van's alarm. If the alarm had not gone off, the mirror could have potentially been damaged. I immediately called the company as they were leaving, but my calls were disconnected multiple times. I also sent a text message but did not receive a response. Later, the owner of the company communicated to our neighbor that the mirror was only being folded in because the vehicle was parked too close and that no damage was caused. At the end of the day, it would have been more professional to simply acknowledge what happened and take responsibility instead of avoiding communication. This behavior is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. For transparency, our RING cameras captured the incident from three different angles. We are happy to share the footage with anyone who would like to see what occurred.

I had a great experience with this company. I called them and asked about their prices, they were the first plumbing company I had contacted that was upfront and transparent with their pricing. They had someone come out that same day to help me with my problem. The person that came was very professional and really tried to solve my issue communicating with me every step of the way before moving forward. Previously I had a different plumbing company Mr. DRAIN come out to unclogg my septic pipe and they didn't unclogg it at all and where trying to charge me $12,000 to supposedly replace some pipes that where broken. Can you imagine the relief I felt when this company actually unclogged my pipes and charged me a fair price and re assured me my pipes where in fact not broken at all. They even suggested calling the city to check the clean out which I did and was part of the problem because when they came out they did a big clean outnof their pipes as well. I never leave reviews and much less this long but I feel the need for people to know how shady plumbing companies can be however this one right here is not they were very honest and amazing at what they do.

JC is awesome. Best communication of any service person in my experience, quick response, fair rates, excellent follow-through, deep knowledge, long experience, clean, polite, and very clear and detailed explanations about problems, solutions, and charges. Highly, highly recommended. Plumbing problems are no fun, but JC made it all as painless as possible. We had a tricky kitchen sink clog. Jose went step by step from the simplest possible fix on and on through to the second-most-complicated, which we chose over the most-complicated. We were able to make that decision confidently because of Jose's clear and detailed explanations about the house's entire plumbing system. He also determined all the causes of the clog, so we can reduce the risk of the problem coming back. Along the way he diagnosed and fixed some minor problems and worked with us to limit disruptions. First time out we were scheduled late in the day, so he got delayed, but he communicated clearly about it. Second time out he came hours early. No photos or videos because nobody needs to see that. Chhiii!!!

I could not be more impressed with Jose. He’s responsive, thorough, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I first worked with him on a warranty call to replace part of my water heater that the company had provided. He came with a trainer and patiently talked both of us through his diagnostics and replacement steps. Then, a week later when we noticed our sewer clean out had overflowed in the wake of recent storms, he came out and used some pretty powerful tools to first clear the clog and then to run a camera through the pipes to help us both understand our system. He took several photos along the way and was eager to explain everything he saw and answer all my questions. Throughout, and in a detailed follow up invoice/summary, he gave specific advice on how to follow up with our builder and the city when we encountered items they should address. I will not hesitate to contact him again with the next plumbing/sewer related issue. He’s a model for all tradesmen—trustworthy, a genuine teacher, and a pleasure to work with.

I recently switched my home insurance to farmers and one of their new requirements to get discount is to install a flo by moen smart shut off valve by the main water supply. I started my research online and I found JC plumbing. I reached out to Jose and he asked for more details about my house and water main. I didn’t have any pictures on me at that time and nobody was home, so he went up my place with my approval to check out the water valve and gave me a free estimate. He discovered a few issues such water pressure was too high and water valve leak. He suggested that I would save money by buying the smart valve off Amazon instead of thru him. I got my flo by moen a week later and I scheduled Jose and his crew to come do the installation. Jose and his crew did amazing work. They kept the front of the house tidy despite having to dig down two inches to replace new pipe. They kept me updated on the progress of the installation whole time he was there. I attached some pictures of the before and after. Highly recommended!

VERY GOOD experience. You don't want a mediocre or bad experience with a plumber. My Navien tankless water heater suddenly had something wrong with the heating cycle. I looked at the Navien website for authorized repairs and installers and called 3 in the area. 2 never replied, Jose at JC was very prompt. He was here within a day, diagnosed the problem with Navien tech-support, the problem was a Check valve that needed to be replaced. He ordered the part locally and came back installed it. His final bill for services was $100 less than his initial quote. He kept his workspace tidy, cleaned everything up before he left. He reminded me his services include Repairing and installing all sorts of Hot water systems, including tankless, and any plumbing problems including rooter service. He can repair or replace your toilet and faucets. I will definitely use Jose again, and have recommended him to family and friends. I do not think you will be disappointed.

Instead of jumping into jetting the line, he used his camera and checked the line. The line was in great condition, so he replaced a faulty check valve, cleaned the tank, checked the system and was complete in less than one hour. I can't say enough good things about JC Plumbing & Rooter's timeliness, quality of service, and fair pricing! He will be my "go to" plumber for ALL of my plumbing needs in the future! I forgot to mention how prompt Jose was. He told me that he would arrive at 10:00am to perform the repair work, he arrived at 9:55am!

I cannot say enough good things about JC. The first time I called him, I was frantic and stressed out looking for any available plumber to fix the leak under my sink as I had a planned delivery from Home Depot for a new dishwasher in a couple of hours. Somehow I was fortunate to call him after reading some reviews on yelp and he was at my place fixing the problem with time to spare before my new dishwasher arrived. He also made sure they installed my dishwasher correctly and helped us with a with an unrelated cabinet issue. When my garbage disposal started leaking, I immediately called him Sunday evening and he had fixed Monday morning. He is punctual, professional, responsive, honest, and just an all around good guy. Highly recommend him to anyone in need of a plumber!
