Alex was awesome! I have never used Jazz services before, but we needed a quick 2nd opinion about our heater. Booking online was quick and easy- we even lucked out with a same day appt. Before his arrival we received a nice text giving us a heads up with a bio about our service engineer (nice touch Jazz). Alex worked cleanly and efficiently and provided us with honest information about our heating unit. Now we are hooked. Thanks Jazz you have customers for life!!
I needed a new AC/HVAC system. I went through Home Depot and they sent Jazz Heating, Air Conditioning and Plumbing to install the system. I met Jesus Prado who did an amazing job installing the heating system. However they came across a challenging task installing the AC system because it needed to be in the a new spot that would have enough space to pass the 5 feet code. They decided to put the AC on the opposite side of the house. Because of the high ceiling that has no access to the attic, they had to go through the gutter line to insert the wirings. They ran the wires through the attic, come out on the other side of the house breaking the 2nd gutter line. Then they made another hole to go into the garage. The system works great but now I have broken gutters with holes on my walls. I was told by Jesus that Jazz will send someone to fix the gutters. Days passed and no one came or called. The rain was coming and I have leak points that will create water damage. At that point I was beginning to panic when the office was ignoring my calls despite of multiple messages. It was really hard to get through to get that taken care of and I felt that they didn’t know how to handle the situation they put me in. Until I called Jesus and told him that they have not sent anybody to fix the gutter line or to weather proof the leak points. He understood my concern and he came right away to patch the broken cement around the insertion site, sealed it and artistically cut out pieces of metal to shield the site from the rain. He took the time and made sure he was meeting my expectations. Finally the gutters need to be artistically fixed. Jazz does not do gutters, so I called quality roofing services, Inc. to get an estimate. Jesus said he will run it by his boss to cover the expenses. Thank you Jesus for making sure that this job gets done! Jesus you make Jazz company look good. People like you who knows customer service and the importance of protecting their property needs to be recognized. You have the capacity of pleasing your customer even if it’s not your line of work. Thank you for listening and acting to make sure I am happy doing business with Jazz. You made that possible when I was almost regretting it. Otherwise the price was great, it took some hoops but the installment was done as it should. One happy jazz customer here thanks to Jesus.
Called them to come and look at my toilet flush tank's consistent overfilling problem (wouldn't stop once tank is full). Someone from the company came, inspected, and told me that the overfill valve will need replacement and that they'll do it for $355 (for a part that's $10-$20 and the plumber said that it is very easy for him and he would do it in less than 10 minutes). Didn't go with this overpriced quote, went for another plumber, he just adjusted the valve and fixed the problem for just $50. It's been working fine for over a month now. I can't recommend this company to anyone.
These company will reschedule and reschedule and reschedule you until you will decide for yourself that theres another company that will value your time. I was requesting for gatbage disposal installation but my schedule kept moving and moving and moving. Same situation occured if they offer the air conditioning package, expect your air conditioning to be fixed winter. If I can give no star I will, this company wont value your time.
031126 - A new Jazz technician, Sergio Aranda, came to inspect our 21 year-old heating / cooling package unit. The unit is on its last legs and we're trying to nurse it along while we figure out a suitable replacement. Sergio did a very thorough inspection and evaluation, especially of the AC part of the package. He gave me the expected dire report on its condition complete with pictures. I hope to never receive a report like that from my doctor. I also had an interesting and informative talk with Sergio about the benefits and possible complications of installing a mini-split heat pump unit in our condo as a replacement. Sergio is clearly very conscientious and knowledgeable. Another 5 star job from Jazz. This is the 2nd time Alex Iglesias has worked on our condo's package heating and AC unit. The unit is 20 years old and several years beyond its life expectancy. It's definitely showing its age. On his first visit last fall Alex saved us hundreds of dollars by determining that the replacement of the expensive mother board recommended by another HVAC technician was unnecessary. Today Alex determined that the aging compressor was straining to begin operation. He recommended a suite of maintenance changes including a capacitor and relay to assist the compressor in starting. The compressor shows less strain on starting as a result. With a little luck and with Alex's TLC I hope we can get 2 or 3 more years out of this baby. Alex's explanations of the condition of our system and the maintenance he recommends are always crystal clear. Yesterday (Friday, 11-22-25) Ridge Zonge from Jazz came by to inspect the Heating portion of combined rooftop heating and cooling system (it's a gas hot air heating system and and electric air conditioner compressor that uses the same vents and at least one of the same blowers to circulate the cold air). The system is limping along well past its life expectancy (about 15 years I believe). It's now 20 years old. Alex offered some effective palliative care about 7 months ago but Ridge's offered an even more dire diagnosis of the heating part of the system. All components are on life support. Ridge offered a very complete rundown of the problems complete with pictures of the ailing components. I'm inclined to replace the unit with a new heat pump combined heating cooling unit. I'll consult my bank balance and make a decision but it's likely I'll wind up freezing my ass off this winter if I don't. Ridge did an excellent job. His explanations and pictures were very convincing, he was a pleasure to work with AND he didn't think I look my age. So what's not to like? 5 stars again to Jazz with no reservations. 12/13/25 - Alex came by again to see if he can coax a bit more life out of our aging heating cooling system. I realize that the system is on its last legs and needs replacing but I need a little more time to figure out what to do. Alex diagnosed the problem as a failing electrical system that sent the system into shutdown mode. He started it again but for how long is not clear. Alex did a fine job with the aging system we've got. I've got to figure out what to do about a replacement system. 5 stars again. ====================================== So a new Jazz technician Aaron Tran came for our pre-summer inspection of our aging roof AC system. Aaron tested the system and did a fine job giving me a rundown of its performance and prospects. I found his summary of his findings helpful in assessing the system's near term prospects. Another 5 star performance.
Our air conditioning stopped working just as the hot weather was getting started. Jazz was the most organized in their responses to me when I first contacted them on Yelp (compared to some other companies). They also had availability for a technician to come out the same day - which was important to me since we needed the AC up and running quickly due to the weather. Sergio was our technician. He diagnosed the problem quickly (coil and fuse issue), fixed it promptly and got our AC running the same day. He is also very courteous and wore shoe covers each time he was inside our house. I really appreciate this. I appreciate Sergio and this company - and thank you for having our air conditioning up and running so promptly.
Update: Their customer support is great as well. Sean helped me today and was very quick with his responses. Justin Berry was awesome to have. Very friendly and knowledgeable with the questions I had about the furnance. He wad very honest as well which I appreciated and wasn’t pushy or anything to try to oversell us. Offered to change out our filters as well which was very nice. At the end he did a great walkthrough showing us the photos of our furnace and what to look out for. Will definitely have him come to our home when it’s time to check our ac unit.
Scheduled an appointment with Jazz for a heating and air inspection at the Cal Expo Home & Garden show. Senior technician Nolan arrived at our house and did a great job of checking our heating and AC system for issues and testing everything to make sure it was in good working order. He also swapped out our old 80’s unit for a new Nest Thermostat and It’s like night and day! He was very knowledgeable and courteous, and I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems. Will definitely call on Jazz in the future!

We needed to replace our lateral sewage line that was damaged by root intrusion. We received excellent service from the inspection and estimate from Monty to the work and professionalism exhibited by Matt, Juan M, Alfonzo, and Jonathan M. They took great care to prepare the site, complete the installation with little downtime, and restore our landscaping. We would definitely recommend their services.
Rich P. Is so good! From the moment he walked in he listened to me and took time to understand what the our furnace problem was, explaining everything he was doing and why. My neighbor had a job fixed by Jazz and I believe the person that helped was Alex? I’m not sure he had glasses and a bun. My neighbor said he too, provided phenomenal service. Will definitely be using their services again!

I highly recommend him !! Update : My a/c unit stop working the day after the tune up. I’m currently without a/c and they send another technician and now they are saying I need to replace the whole hvac system.
Tony V.and Ivan B were fire and flame!. They came, they took names, they kicked water heater butt! I feel like had plumbing superheros come to my door. I couldn’t be more pleased. Just look at those sleeve compressed copper joints and bright new ball valves. I finally feel secure when I shut off my mains that they wont leak or drip everywhere. Two thumbs up lads👍👍
