Had a brand new water heater installed by another company. A few months later now, it stopped lighting (gas water heater). We thought maybe we were out of propane. Had the tank filled, still no pilot light lighting. Called Rheem for warranty and they sent out Intown Plumbing. I am SO glad they did! From the moment the appointment was scheduled I was sent an email confirmation with details. The day of service, the following day, I received a link via email to track their location (SO CONVENIENT!) They came precisely in the time window given. I greeted them outside and they were so friendly and professional. They got right down to business troubleshooting our issue and within 20 minutes detected the issue, called the company for a replacement igniter panel (not sure what it's called). They even had it expedited for us which we feel was really going above and beyond for their customer. I can't recommend David and David enough. Truly one of the kindest, most professional companies I've ever had the pleasure of working with.

Frank and his partner were very professional and informative regarding my bathroom plumbing. They were able to fit me in on short notice same day. Took them no time to diagnose and fix the problem in my shower. In and out in less than 30 mins. I highly recommend them.

David and David were the technicians who came out to replace my water heater, and they were both incredibly friendly and professional. They did an excellent job and left the work area spotless! My husband scheduled the appointment, and the team was very responsive throughout the process. Customer service was quick, helpful, and overall made the experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

My experience was not very good. The office that contacted me did not know anything about pricing. Didn't tell me how much service call would be. Service call amount was not listed on thumbtack either. The technician was nice but didn't have the needed part, and wanted to charge me $4/minute for me to go get it from Home Depot for a $460 labor only repair of a bath tub faucet cartridge. I think a few things are not right with how your company does business. I paid $85 service call.

We called them to service our tankless. It took them times to realize they couldn’t clean the tankless and had to buy 2 valves because they said the valves wouldn’t shut off . When they left we realized the hot water was super long to come in the master shower .We called them to come back . They made us paid $85 for a service fee for a job that was not completed and satisfied the first time when they came . They said the unit has to be studied and it would cost for sure to have them come back and study our tankless . My husband resolved the issue himself. The plumber didn’t turn on a button And he lost a screw ! They are not service dedicated . They are money dedicated . I won’t use them anymore.

Alright, Pope, you win. I was pretty ticked because I had made an appt for early Saturday morning last weekend and nobody showed up or answered the phone when I tried to call. They called back during the week and said that their systems or power or something went down and they had no access to appts or phone numbers...or phones? Hmmmk. So they rescheduled me and told me I'd get a discount for this morning (also requiring me to wake up early on a day off). Well, appt time rolls around, haven't heard from anyone...I call and she said the dude was stuck in traffic from Denton. OK, well maybe call me if you anticipate a delay? After two more calls I find out they also had the wrong address. SIGH. So David finally shows up and apologizes and gets right to work. The main problem was low water pressure on our kitchen sink but I had also hoped to get him to look at our leaky bathtub hot water valve too but didn't know if there would be enough time since it was already late morning. But he fixes the sink in like two seconds!!! Then he goes to the bathtub, figures it out, and tells me how I can fix it on my own. He also checks out my water heater (which is 15 years old, awesome) and gives us an estimate to replace it and offers to research if there are any replacements we could get that would get us tax credits. Then the best part, he gives me his card and says he's just counting it as a service call and I don't owe him anything! I definitely appreciate them righting the situation because I had my nasty draft review all ready to go :p I still gotta take off a star for the confusion but I was pretty pleased by the end of the appointment so I can't complain too much. Thanks Pope!!

Pope Plumbing is #1 - for sure. We moved into a new (old) house and noticed water coming up in the middle of the living room. We have a home warranty - so we called them and they sent out their contracted plumber. Luckily, we decided to get another opinion because they gave us an "unsure" feeling about what needed to be done and we have been burned by home warranty companies before. We called Pope Plumbing after receiving a recommendation from a neighbor. Sure glad we called them. They came out ASAP - on time. Our techs, Chris and Josh, were very professional. They both were in nice professional uniforms, clean, wore masks, shoe covers and had hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes with them at all time. They wiped everything after they touched it and kept their distance. The duo was very comforting, personable, funny, tidy and most of all HELPFUL! They were able to solve the problem quickly and gave us a quote. The quote was much much better than the one received from the previous company, not to mention they gave us a feeling that we chose the right guys to do our extensive work. When they left, you would have never known they were there. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! We truly appreciate you guys!! They should be at the top of everyones list - we have recommended them multiple times already. Great team! David and Beth Taylor

We had the best experience with Pope Plumbing. We had two defective toilets that were provided by the builder (DR Horton) in our home. Brian Young came out and evaluated the situation and gave us many options. He also checked every other possible issue that could cause our water bill to triple in cost. We decided to purchase two new toilets and get Pope Plumbing to install them. Brian and Mike (two technicians) showed up at the time that was established for the appointment. They were friendly, helpful, and went straight to work on the install. I soon discovered the type of toilets I purchased were not what we wanted. They were beyond accommodating in helping me resolve the problem. Instead of rescheduling the appointment; They followed me to Home Depot to exchange the toilets. This was above and beyond what any other company would do. Then they installed the correct toilets in a timely matter. They left everything clean and the new toilets work great. I will recommend these guys to everyone I know that needs a plumber. Thanks so much Pope Plumbing, and your wonderful technicians Brian and Mike.

In a word ~ terrible. . . . if I could give then no stars I would. I was referred to this company by American Home Shield for several small plumbing jobs after we purchased a home. Made the original appointment on a Tuesday for them to come out the following day. They called and canceled saying it would have to be Thursday, no big deal things happen. Thursday rolls around, no show and no call. I called the office no less than 10 times with no answer or returned call. I called at lunch on Friday and told the person I spoke to how upset I was, they promptly did some moving around and asked if I could meet them that evening, which I did. We had two toilets that wouldn't flush correctly, faucets that needed to be fixed, sinks that were not draining correctly, and a few other small things. After several visits/no-shows we called American Home Sheild and asked for another plumber (Roto-Rooter showed up on time as expected) who fixed everything in a single trip. I ultimately missed work due to these guys - I would no recommend them to say the least.

I had to review again because we just had Pope Plumbing out for another job and again they didn't disappoint. We had a leak out at the meter box - which of course the city said wasn't on their side - so we called Pope out for the repair. They came right out to check it out and quote the job - and they turned off the sprinklers to minimize the leak until they could come out for the repair. 3-days and a reasonable repair quote later they were here to do the job. Luckily the pipe wasn't as bad as they originally thought so the job was much less invasive, and oh yeah, much less expensive - wooo hooo!!!! You don't hear that very often with plumbing. You may see some not so good reviews below - and I'm sorry those folks had questionable experiences with this company - but seriously as far as plumbing companies go - Pope Plumbing has been wonderful for us. Give them a try - I hope you'll be as pleased as we are with their service, people and work.

I'm always nervous trying any new service providers. Let's face it, using any service based provider (mechanic, electrician, plumber) these days feels like Russian Roulette. So imagine my surprise with Pope Plumbing! I placed a home warranty service call with AHS on a tankless hot water heater, a slow draining tub, and a leaking toilet. Having called after hours, I received a call from Jessica at Pope Plumbing promptly the next morning. She reviewed my service request and told me that they'd have their technician out in the early afternoon. Around 12:00 I got a call from Chris (the technician) who arrived within the hour and got right to work. My call was handled very well and I'm just all around pleased with the professionalism and quality of work that was provided. Chris in particular was very helpful, and even showed me how to take care of an item on my own. Thanks so much and keep up the great work.

Pope Plumming is a phenomenal company. We have used them for decades. Do not be tainted by people upset with the cost of quality plumbers and reviews from 2013. It is not the plumbers fault that you had a problem in your home and you don't like the cost of a quality Plumber! They are honorable, and they have been around for decades. we use them in our home and we use them in all of our corporate buildings. Richard Pope stands behind his company and his plumbers. These are great guys who work hard and do a good job. Don't blame the plumber because you had a leak -and don't blame the plumber because plumbers cost money. Just like Electricians, Quality , certified ,registered plumbers cost money. We have never been unhappy. This is a great company give them an opportunity and you will also be loyal. We Love Pope plumbing because they fix plumbing problems correctly- commercial or residential !!!

As consumers we are quick to write a review when things go South, but my experience with Pope Plumbing emphasized the need to wait and talk the situation over before going straight to the internet and posting a poor review. We must remember these business owners and workers have to feed their families just as we do and when we are quick to post negative remarks before trying to resolve the issue, it has a great impact on their business. I am happy to say the small issue I had with Pope Plumbing was handled professionally and to my satisfaction. I especially like the fact that management tried on numerous occasions to contact me and continued trying until they reached me and the issue was resolved. That type of diligence is an A+ in my book. Call them for all your plumbing needs.

They were so good a couple of years ago. But they promised they'd be out today, late morning to early afternoon. This was to fix a water heater they installed a few years ago. Wouldn't you call the number pasted on your water heater in three different places? Tried to follow up but they don't answer their phone most of the time. I don't even know how many messages I left today. I'd give them zero stars if I could. And it's Friday. I could have called someone else this morning. Now its either pay someone else a premium or don't take any showers or wash any dishes for a whole weekend. When I did talk to someone, all she would say was "I placed a call out to several of the technicians and never heard back." Soooooooooooooooooo disappointing.

Kyler did a great job resolving my kitchen faucet issue. He was prompt, kind and professional, and took great care in my home. In Town Plumbing has service my home for over five years now. Without exception, they have always been prompt, courteous, professional, and fair with their pricing. In times of crisis such as failed water heaters, they are always there for me. I can count on them anytime I need them. They always do their best to reassure me that they are going to take care of me and will resolve our issues. I cannot say enough glowing things about the owner, Michael Grose and his company In Town Plumbing. This is the only company I will ever use, and I highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs.
