Wires were cut and taped together inside the walls, nothing was properly fastened, and some of the work was simply never completed. Parts of the home were left exposed long enough for pests to move in and out freely. When we contacted the company for help, the prices they quoted were shocking. A one-day job started at $9,500 before dropping thousands of dollars in minutes. A larger job went from $22,000 to $19,000 with no real explanation. It became clear this wasn’t professional estimating—it was predatory pricing aimed at someone they assumed wouldn’t question it. Miss Tina relies on others to help her because she is largely blind. She had no way to catch what happened until I stepped in. What’s most painful is that she trusted them. She trusted the explanations, the pricing, and the work—and they took full advantage of that trust. We have since had an independent assessment done, and multiple violations were confirmed. The entire job will need to be redone by a professional. This experience has been devastating for her emotionally and financially. No elderly homeowner should ever be put through something like this.
