Had a weird short in our electrical gfi. The technicians came out immediately. They were patient, thorough and found the short in a reasonable period of time. Tested everything. Very professional and fair in the pricing for their time. We highly recommend High 5 for electrical and plumbing.
High Five Plumbing is always the first company I contact when I have plumbing issues. They respond quickly and do their best to accommodate my schedule. They are professional and know exactly what needs to be done. I will continue to use them for any future plumbing needs. They installed a water softener system and a sump pump in our home, and everything is working great.
Leo and Daniel were great! They did a great job replacing my pipes and fixing some issues with my hot water heater. They were in and out, but made sure everything was corrected before leaving. Highly recommend this company.
Was referred to this company, called and spoke to a very nice lady. She was able to get a "technician" to our house the same day. I had broken off a shower cartridge and couldn't get it out and when the tech looked at it he didn't think it could be fixed, he didn't have a clue. With him standing there watching I was able to loosen and extract the cartridge. He asked if I had a replacement and I said no, didn't he. He pulled up the "quoted price" for the Delta cartridge and this company wanted $360 to put it in. I went to Home Depot and bought the same cartridge for $65, are you kidding me? The tech was basically useless and their prices are way out of line. I only gave them 2 stars because the initial lady I talked to was so nice. Definitely won't be calling them again. High 5 my A**
If I could give Zero stars I would! Avoid High Five Plumbing and Heating at all costs, they are shisters who will try to scam you! In December 2025,Gage Hawks a Technician for High Five Plumbing arrived at my Home for a scheduled Service Call. My reason for scheduling this appointment was a small leak had developed in the Toilet Tank that could have been easily repaired with minimal cost and effort. He also insisted I replace the Emergency Shut Off Valve, which he claimed wasn't up to code, and was included in the package but listed separately for $480. He charged a 50% Deposit of $917 while failing to disclose the company's Deposit policy, and had me sign a credit card authorization that later turned out to be an invoice, without actually showing me the document that I was signing or the fine print so I could read it. When it was emailed to me later in the day from his office,it stated any money down was not 100% refundable. When I texted him directly to change the work order from a replacement to a simple repair after the minor leak cleared up on its own the same day as the service call(and the floor has remained dry ever since)and wanted to reschedule the appointment Gage Hawks stopped communicating with me. When I called the office they had his immediate supervisor call me. When I spoke to Mike Lenahan and told him my situation,he apologized and I asked for the $917 deposit to be refunded because the reason for the service call no longer existed minus the Fee for the service call since it did occur,he offered to waive the Service Fee and the $917 would be refunded with in 3-5 days.i told him I still wanted to pay the service fee. He then did nothing, and no refund was issued for any amount, which prompted a Credit Card dispute after 5 days. As soon as the Merchant reviewed the dispute the next day,a partial refund was immediately issued initially pending for partial amount, with no communication from High Five Plumbing by phone, text,or email with an explanation for the reduced amount. I will upload the document bearing my signature that was shown to me on a Company Tablet, that showed only the partial deposit authorization signature line on the screen not the document itself which again Gage Hawks intentionally failed to even verbally disclose to me. Again Gage Hawks Immediate Supervisor Mike Lenehan offered to wave the Service call fee, which I was still agreeing to pay for a Toilet to be looked at that didn't need to be replaced or rebuilt, and an Emergency Shut off Valve that didn't need to be replaced. It's important to emphasize that only the service call occurred,no work was ever done, and the new toilet was out of stock and needed to be ordered. My Credit Card Company handled the Dispute perfectly, professionally and in a Timely Manner,I will give the Credit card company a Five star review instead! Sent from my iPad
They carried the water filtration system I wanted, and the price was decent. I joined their "club" to save a few dollars, and the salesperson who sold and installed the system was friendly enough. However, looking back, the installation probably didn't follow best plumbing practices, though the system does work. The real issue is the "club." It's a waste of money and mainly serves as a way for them to get in your home for high-pressure sales pitches. During one visit, they told me my five-year-old home needed $15,000 worth of HVAC work. A second opinion literally laughed at the list and confirmed nothing was wrong. When I called the manager, he said the tech was "new" and "overzealous." A few months later, I gave them another chance for a plumbing inspection because my water was leaving a pink film. The first appointment was a no-show with no call. On the second try, they arrived late, spent over an hour taking photos under every sink, and asking about leaks without any evidence. When I asked about the pink film, they admitted they didn't have a test kit. Then they called someone and were told to tell me it was iron and that I'd need to buy another filtration system. At that point, it was clear they weren't actually interested in finding the cause; they were using the visit as another chance to sell me something I didn't need. While they were still in my house, I looked it up myself and quickly found that the pink film wasn't iron at all, but Serratia marcescens, a harmless pink bacteria unrelated to my filtration system. When I mentioned that, the technician became defensive and repeated that she "had been doing this for years," rather than addressing the actual issue. To make matters worse, there was a moment when water started flooding, I just heard yelling from the other room: "Turn off the water!" After two separate bad experiences, I'm done. They may sell decent equipment, but the "club" is just a way to push unnecessary upsells. I don't like to post negative reviews, but this one feels well-earned.
On the positive side, this company responded quickly to my call, scheduled service the same day, offered a senior discount and kept me informed as to the service technician's estimated arrival. On the negative side, the service technician arrived to fix a kitchen faucet that had leaked below the sink. The technician looked at the problem and then wanted to access the crawl space in my home to look at pipes and engaged in high pressure sales to sell me a sump pump. He then provided me with an estimate for a new faucet for the kitchen sink, told me he did not have the parts to repair the existing faucet because he did not know what kind it was (I explained it was a Hans Grohe faucet), and a sump pump. When I said I was not interested in spending the exorbitant amount he presented to me, he launched into the company's availability of zero percent financing. I declined both and asked for an invoice for the service call only. When he told me the amount, I requested the senior discount, and he told me that it was not available. The negative far outweighs the positive with this company. Moreover, beware of the coupons and discounts offered. The company does not stand by them. Following this high pressure sales visit, I complained to High 5. I was offered a $50 credit on my next service and the opportunity to have another technician come out for no fee. I declined and asked for the discount which I was promised and denied. I was told I would receive a refund. When I did not receive the refund, I contacted High 5 again and asked where it was. I was told it had been credited to my account and I should see it shortly. I did not pay with a credit card. I paid by check and High 5 cashed the check and has yet to provide me with any refund or discount. Clearly a company that does to stand by its word.
High Five!? Pffffft! More like a gut punch. Look, I'm not some keyboard commando out here fishing for discounts or anything. I actually had a good experience with these guys initially. Granted, they had to come back and fix errors in both of the jobs I hired them for in my basement remodel, and their pricing is astronomically higher than any average competitor, but I liked the cut of their jib, so I dealt with it. Here I am over a year later, STILL dealing with issues from their install. I mean, just look at the image. This cost several hundred dollars. Yeah this garbage, which now has leaked into my insulation/ceiling/ wall in the basement after I specifically made their tech Ryan aware that I didn't like the idea of all of those pex joints, and he assured me that it would be "totally fine". Well, it's not totally fine. It popped the *air quotes* FROST FREE spigot and now here I am. Called them to come out today, they did, and tried to charge me $500 to fix their/Ryan's f*ck up. (which I was informed no longer works with them). So I did what any rational person would do and told them to kick rocks. No more High Fives for me I guess. Buyer beware. ************************* In response: No Claire, the PSI was tested prior to this install and a regulator was put in place after the spigot, which subsequently ruined our water pressure and rendered our previously installed sprinkler system ($3,500.00) useless. Regardless, that was not the cause of the burst water line to the spigot. Thankfully, we had another plumber come out and provide a good solution and fix the shoddy work of High Five. I guess the customer is always wrong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ? Nice try, but no manager/further contact is necessary.
I recently had my water heater replaced by High 5 Plumbing, And I couldn’t be more impressed with their professional service from beginning to end. This marks, my second experience with the company, and they’ve consistently exceeded my expectations. José Cuevas Arrived promptly for the initial inspection and immediately demonstrated the friendly professionalism that sets this company apart. While delivering the unfortunate news that I needed a complete unit replacement, Jose. Took the time to thoroughly explain all available options and walked me through the entire process. His clear communication made what could have been a stressful situation more manageable. That same afternoon,Jesus Pacheco And his trainee arrived for the installation. Their technical expertise was evident as they Master fully removed the old water heater and installed the new unit with remarkable efficiency. The quality of their workmanship was impressive, and they maintained a clean, organized workspace throughout the process. Haven’t used High 5 Twice now, I can confidently say that their consistent reliability keeps me coming back. Every team member I’ve encountered has been professional, competent, and genuinely friendly. The quality of service is so dependable that I’ve decided to use them exclusively for all future, plumbing and electric I was so satisfied with their service that I purchased their membership program. The included services provide excellent value and peace of mind, making the investment completely worthwhile for ongoing home maintenance needs. And for any baseball fans out there, the fact that their business cards are baseball cards is both hilarious and genius!
This company has pretty much gone downhill since we used them last time. We used them 4 years ago to replace a 20 gallon water heater. Needed them to replace another 20 gallon water heater and they charged me $2000 more than the last time. I get it prices have gone up labor etc...Had to get the water heater in, forwarded information to a couple of folks said why are we paying $7K for a 20gallon water heater so that led me to do some investigating on my own. Initially on me for not doing a couple of quotes and just using them since I trusted them the last time and they went above and beyond. However, this time more like price gouging. They provided me 3 quotes with little explanation as to why are why not something was or wasn't needed. I went with middle of the road quote because it came with what I thought was an additional 2 year warranty....learned today it isn't in addition to it is just on top of the 5 year warranty that the mfr already provides, that is lack of integrity on the salesmans part. I called and asked for an itemized invoice of what the charges were for and was told they wouldn't do that because there are so many costs tied to that charge. Won't be using them ever again. Their integrity is less than favorable in my opinion and they gouge you over other companies apparantly. $7K to change out a water heater that costs $500-$800 at Home Depot. Couldn't explain to me where any differences come in. Maybe next time keep the cookies and the lunch tote you sent as a thank you gift and deduct that from the bill for the next person who is scammed by this company.
I originally had High 5 out to replace a tankless water heater about a year ago. I was thrilled with their work and communication. Thus I signed up for the one year contract. Unfortunately it has gone down hill quickly from there. Each time they have come out, they have, in my opinion, recommended exorbitantly priced solutions to problems that by logical means don't really exist. An example, would be when they did a plumbing inspection, they recommended replacing main valves in the house at a cost of $2509. This is a newer home, and the current valves that are in place have not shown any deterioration and are up to code. When I later checked in, they agreed the current valves were up to code, but that they recommended a different kind of valve for "peace of mind" as the plumber liked that kind of valve better. They have been out two more times in addition to that visit, and each time, they recommend multi thousand dollar repairs for "peace of mind". Their model for us has clearly been one where to me the technician seemed required to write up three estimates for "peace of mind", "middle of the road", and "basic". I have only used them for a bit over a year, but this has been consistently the case. No other company I have used for HVAC and Plumbing has done anything similar. Also, each time, the technician has presented the information in a way that, for me, felt like they were indicating that I really should do what I feel turned out to be unnecessary work. To me, it comes across as pushy and underhanded.
Only call High 5 Plumbing if you want to see your money spent for marketing for fancy truck decals, fake Yeti mugs and a bunch of hard candies because their plumbing services is beyond terrible. Over 7 weeks AND 13 visits, we were intermittently subjected to gas leaks, water leaks, no hot water, no heat and error codes on our tankless water heater. They took advantage of the fact that we're living with 2 teenagers with no hot water and no heat by continuously up-charging me. During this time, we were charged an extra $1900 over the original estimate of $4000. All of the issues were because they failed to recognize that my existing venting didn't match the new unit (even though they added to the venting) and because they didn't provide drain piping to manufacture recommendations. I ended up "chatting" with the manufacturer and showing them screenshots to prove the venting was wrong. They offered me money back and then rescinded the offer as the problems they should have caught just continued. They said they could have offered a cleaning crew only when I complained that the carpet was a mess and had already cleaned it up myself. When I asked to speak to the owner/CO DORA license holder, Levi Torres, I was told Levi "doesn't take phone calls". Clearly, he only takes your money and wastes your time.
We were in need of gas line work and the service was great from the first phone call. I was able to speak with Jeff on a few follow up calls who answered my questions and provided some clarity. They were able to get a technician to our home the next day. Jeff waived the fee which was appreciated. Josh came out on a Friday and was able to tell us what was needed and his plan for the job. We had another company give us a quote and they wanted to take out a lot our knockdown textured basement ceiling to complete the work. Josh had a good plan on how to complete the work using our recessed lighting. He did tell us that if he was unable to complete it using that plan then he would have to remove a small amount of drywall, much smaller than the other company wanted to remove. We appreciate him being up front but also his resourcefulness. Josh was able to come back with another team member the next day (Saturday) to complete the job. They showed up on time, first thing in the morning, and they were able to complete the job with his plan. Everything worked out wonderfully. Josh was absolutely great and we really appreciate the service that was provided. He did speak about the membership but the focus was on the work and providing great service.
Pros: Quick and friendly (albeit a little pushy) service. Cons: This company is a money grabber and are very aggressive with their marketing and review collection (hence the many 5-star reviews on Google, but as you see on Yelp here, they have like a 3.7 which feels more accurate. To cut to the chase, you should contact Summit Heating & AC (who also does plumbing) for more honest service. After an overly expensive garbage disposal repair (which by the way, included them installing a new mounting for my sink drain that tackily has their stupid logo on it which I have to look at every day now), I had them inspect my HVAC as part of a free deal. Their tech came out and recommended numerous replacements and additions that would have totaled close to 2 grand. Suspicious, I had Summit come out the very next day. They found that one small capacitor in the blower motor could indeed use replacing but that none of the other work was needed. On top of that, High 5 was charging hundreds of dollars on the same parts compared to Summit. Their margins are way too high. You'll get fast service with High 5 but will absolutely be overcharged and recommended servicing you do not need, and I simply can't tolerate a business that functions that way.
Extremely Concerning Service Experience -- Misdiagnosis, Unnecessary Costs, and Warranty Upscales My experience with High 5 Plumbing has been deeply concerning. My home is under five years old, yet High 5 recommended expensive replacements and an add‑on warranty that led to multiple return visits without resolving the actual issue. After several appointments and significant costs, the electrical problem remained only partially rectified. During the second visit, another licensed electrician had to advise the High 5 technician on-site to correct the voltage breakers and replace the incorrect sensors affecting my dishwasher, disposal, and refrigerator. Once those corrections were made, the power was restored immediately to the fridge-- something that should have been identified from the start, not requiring a complete panel replacement, or misleading "disconnect/removal and install of up to 20 breakers and of 5 Specialty breakers". This raises serious concerns about proper diagnostics, consumer protection, and whether High 5's warranty practices are being used to justify unnecessary repeat visits. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend their services.
