Hessville Plumbing

This is our second time to use Hessville Plumbing. We call from out of town for my wife's elderly parents. They always answer the phone. They have provided same day service, and they take payment over the phone. We really appreciate their service!

We called so many plumbing companies and we got ignored. They would come out and say they will call us to set up an appointment and never called and we will leave messages and never get any call backs. The last company we called came out and then emailed us that the job was to big for them but they did refer us to Hessville plumbing and I am glad they did. I called them they came out that day assessed the problem Tom was so knowledgeable and Took his time to explain. A couple days later Tom and Rick came out on time and did the job that should have been done before we moved in. I thank God for these two men along with this company. Even the receptionist Stephanie and Leslie where nice and professional. This company is awesome! Don’t think twice about calling them to get the job done! The picture is the job they did. I wish I had a picture of what it looked like before just a hot mess!

Prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. Second time I've called Hessville Plumbing and second time I am completely satisfied! They came out when I was available, called prior to arriving and rodded my shower quickly. They will continue receiving my business for future needs!

They are totally out of order pipes froze nd busted they came out said it wasn't covered. Called nd got reassured that it was. RIPSCO ( (Nipsco) home solutions need to stop doing business with them. This is our second time they falsely said we weren't covered nd yet eye am. Bait and switch company. Pivotal Home Solutions via Nipsco uses them. Came out to fix a leaky drain on the left side of my 2 basin sink. William stated he connected and tightened the pieces and used a glue to secure them. Told me to be careful when I place items under the sink. I hadn't placed any items back and put down paper towels as a just in case it still leaked. Over the holidays I hadn't used my sink until Saturday or Sunday and noticed my drains are backing up. Prior to the "fix" their wasn't an issue with draining. They came out today and said yes it's backing up but your policy doesn't cover it. What! Hessville Plumbing CAUSED the issue. He's said do you have a crawlspace and did you poor anything down the sink...because that can splash on us. They actually thought I'd PAY THEM TO FIX A PROBLEM THEY CAUSED. Total screwups. They caused this issue..HESSVILLE PLUMBING IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY.

I would never use this company again; I have insurance on my plumbing and they were called out twice in 24 hours....they only ran a manual snake though my interior plumbing which did not help...toilet barely able to flush; the workers acted like they didn't want to be here in the first place and the 2nd time was here for less than 30 minutes. I offered a suggestion (my main needed to be cleared) and the plumber on site refused to take that possibility into consideration. Instead he concluded there is something wrong with my 3 year old toilet. A person can tell easily when a person does not want to be there,....and in my opinion that is exactly what was going on. For a professional, licensed plumber to walk away from a toilet that does not even have enough power to flush toilet paper and claim its in working condition is inexcusable In my opinion; the plumbers they sent did not have a good work ethic and didn't make the attempt to go beyond their "work order". When a person tells a plumber there is a clog that is all they know..... it is the responsibility of the professional to look beyond what the person does not know to get the job right the 1st time. The insurance company is sending a different plumber today....and this simple clog is turning into a 3 day ordeal.

We had an old galvanized water main between the street and house that started leaking like crazy. Had them out to take a look. They quoted us a price for a whole replacement that wasn't, you know...insane. They also were quite good about moving us up their priority list. Once we settled on the fee, and they got the permits, they were out the next day. A lot of other plumbers we called wanted anywhere from $60 to $120, simply to come out & look at it, give a quote. We had none of that price gouging nonsense from these guys. The man they sent was courteous, professional, upfront, direct and honest. They came in, did the backhoe ballet with *minimal* surrounding damage to sidewalks, landscaping, etc. The whole team of guys was friendly, answered any questions we had, and were quite professional the whole time. When we decide to move the rest of our house to PEX, these will be the first people we call. Trustworthy, good value (considering the job they did for us was a dig) and they're flexible, and work well with others. These folks did a good job, at a fairly quote price...didn't try to raise the scope, and did not do any gotcha's on the agreed to price. This is the one great plumbing service out of 10.

It was definitely a great experience with Hessville plumbing. Prior to calling them, I had two different plumbers come over and could not fix the Problem with my toilet. my kid threw some kind of toy in the toilet that had a magnet attached to it and the only way you can find it was to take the toilet off and the previous plumbers that I hired did Not find the issue. So I gave them my A+ for that. However, I just called them again to give me An estimate on fixing The outside spigot that's connected to my water hose, which was leaking and water was getting inside my house. The guy that came over and briefly told us that he will have to tear down my walls from the inside to fix it, which was totally untrue. I hired Roto reuter this morning to come over to fix it and they were able to get the problem resolved within a couple hours with a very fair price. So now I don't know how experience this company is when it comes to more than just Rodding toilets.

We woke up to the sound of our sump pump going off at 3AM on a Friday. There was a small puddle pooled around the drain in our basement and we didn't think anything of it. We figured the sump pump would take care of the water and went back to bed. We went about our normal morning routine and went back into the basement and now the small puddle had expanded to a quarter of the basement and sewage backing up out of the drain. We frantically called several plumbers. The soonest someone would be able to come out was *maybe* on Saturday. That meant we would have no toilets, no handwashing, no showers for the whole day. We have 2 kids under the age of 3 so that was not going to fly. I called Hessville and the person that answered the phone was very courteous and said she could get someone out to us today if we had an open schedule. I called around 11AM and they were at our house by 1:45PM and fixed the clog in the main line by 2:30PM. Thank you Logan and Marc!

I searched for a plumber and a reputable business for quite some time. Tom came out and serviced us twice now and this review is most earned. Tom was courteous and kind. My baby was sleeping both times he came out and he was very mindful of that both times. He was honst and that alone is deserving of all 5 star's- even when he couldn't help with our toilet due to us needing to call a separate contractor to replace a portion of our bathroom floor - he didn't just replace the toilet or slap a band aid on it as most fly by night places would have and just collect the payment. He gave me sound advice and told me how Hessville Plumbing could help me in the next step of the process. I really reccomend this company based on my interactions with who represents them out in the field. They have a quality worker in Tom. I sure hope they know that. Thank you Hessville Plumbing. I reccomend and I will only be using you guy's in the future!

Excellent customer service, very timely and efficient. Long story short; water main broke. City said it was our responsibility. We called around to a couple companies in the area, these folks were the best pricing and I had the most confidence in their foreman/estimator. Dave came out, assessed the situation and explained their plan of attack in a clear and concise way. After approving the quote ($4200 to excavate 2' down, expose break and install a clamp, infill and level ground) it took about 3 days for the permitting to go through and they arrived the next morning. It only took them about 4 hours to complete the job and head out. The work area was left in good condition and quite clean for the scope of work and mud involved. The men were very courteous and professional when I spoke with them and thanked them at the end of the job. I would definitely recommend them.

I've used this company before with good results. I called them out to my mom's house 5 days ago to unclog the kitchen sink. They came out and routed out the drain and said it was done. They also advised me that there were a few leaks and the drain baskets needed to be replaced and that they saw some mold starting to appear. They gave me a price and said do not use the sink until they came back the next day. I approved everything including the cost. I just wanted my mom's sink fixed properly. I've called them everyday. No one answers the phone, no return call. They have literary ghosted us. To leave an elderly couple hanging with no water, no sink and no communication is shameful. Also, the sink is now more clogged then before. I called another company out today. Took care of the problem right away. Shame on you, Hessville Plumbers, for treating your customers with no respect.

My experience with them was great. People who gave them a bad review do NOT know what a bad plumber really is. We had psewage back up in our basement and called a 24 hour plumbing service who did not do the repairs and caused further damage exceeding 10,000 dollars. We called Hessville plumbing to get the job fixed and done right and they were great from office manager all the way to each individual plumber. The office manager Leslie was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful as we're Sean, David and the rest of the workers. They fixed the job fixed it the RIGHT way even going beyond the job to take pictures of the damage the previous plumber did to our plumbing for us. I would say prices were also pretty reasonable and explained thoroughly. If I need any plumbing work done in the future, these are going to be the guys I call.

If you have pivotal home solutions and this is the plumbing business that picks up your claim, request another plumbing service immediately. Yes they will come out and look at your issue and give you a piece of paper and never get back to you. You can call them, though they never answer the phone and do not return your calls even after leaving messages. This is not the first time I have dealt with Hessville plumbing first time was to inspect a gas line, they did. I requested they come back to change out a valve nothing ever came from it. This second and most recent issue was an emergency and they did absolutely nothing. This is the worst experience, I have come cross thus far with a contractor. SAVE yourself the headache and go elsewhere. Wish I could post this without issuing a star.

It has been over 24 hours since an in home visit for an estimate on repairing or replacing a water heater. Still waiting!!! Luckily there was no charge for them to walk in my home and do nothing. To think that they left a potential customer's home with no hot water and that customer willing to pay what ever it took to resolve the issue is very poor judgement on their workers part. Almost seemed that they took one look at what needed to be done and said "nope, not for us". Thank God for a neighbor that was able to fix the issue in replacing the heating elements to get hot water heater working again and only cost me $40 in parts and a sandwich.
