I recently had my hot water heater replaced, and the technician Travis did an excellent job from start to finish. He was professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. He clearly explained the scope of work, walked me through the replacement process, and made sure I understood how the new system operates before leaving. The installation was clean and well-executed. All connections were neatly done, the workspace was left spotless, and everything was tested thoroughly to ensure proper operation. You can tell he takes pride in his workmanship. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free. I would absolutely recommend Travis and Heritage to anyone needing plumbing or water heater services.

Travis and Davi came to my house today and repaired some pipes in my basement. They did a great job and were done in about 30 minutes. I am very pleased with their work. They were very polite and friendly.

I cannot thank Steve and Chris from Heritage Plumbing enough for getting my water running and drains flowing again! Following a recent cold snap, one of my pipes froze, rendering my laundry room inoperable. When they arrived, they quickly recognized that the pipe was likely not going to be the most challenging part of the operation— It was the 8 inch wide space they would have to squeeze through in order to access it! I was fully braced for them to tell me it was just not going to be possible, but that is not what happened. They shed phones and equipment, took a deep breath, and squeezed in there to assess the situation. In no time they had the water flowing again! The second job was to repair two drains in my bathroom that were continuously clogging. They diagnosed the issues and repaired them both quickly, and my bathroom now smells like it’s brand new with those good, clean pipes! If you have plumbing issues that you have been avoiding, or you’re just not happy with the service you’ve been receiving from your plumber, I cannot recommend Steve and Chris from Heritage enough!!! They are prompt, friendly, respectful, professional, and great at what they do! Thank you for a job incredibly well done!

Would not pour RV antifreeze , which I had available, into my central AC condensate drain to prevent the water in it from freezing and cracking my drain. Reason given was that they don't use products, RV antifreeze, provided by home owner! Bogus reason to me! Will not call them to service my central AC again!

Took advantage of the "free" comfort plan that they offered me that was supposed to include cleaning my mini splits. Day of appointment was told it only covered one head and outside unit. Charged me for rest, whole time tech said wow these are very clean.....then why keep charging me! After visit i had to vacuum the dust he left behind and rewash my bedding that dust fell onto. Tried reaching out to them multiple times and no call back from a manager! Will never use this company

Heritage replaced my water heater in February 2025. In June 2025, a technician from a different company came to assess the HVAC system and found three gas leaks in the water heater pipes, the joints of which hadn't even been tightened. Also, a total of $464 for a standing inspection and a permit fee was added to my bill from Heritage, and after a call to Heritage, the technician told me that sometimes it takes months for an inspection but that he would let me know when it would happen. That was five months ago, so I called again and the person said he was going to get in touch with the inspector. I asked if the inspector had been called by Heritage back in February and he said he would have to check. My guess is no. An inspection would have found the three gas leaks. My condo could have exploded along with others as well. Back to June 2025. Heritage assessed the problem with the above-mentioned HVAC system during the heatwave. A technician came out and told me my compressor needed a fan, and that he would have a new one in a couple of days. After calling Heritage three times, I discovered that technician "left the company" a day after his visit with me and Heritage hadn't told me until my third phone call, so I was waiting in a 90-degree F condo for a fan that hadn't been ordered by a man who no longer worked there. A second technician from Heritage came to my home and told me the air handler in the attic was broken. I don't have an air handler in the attic. He then quoted me an exorbitant amount for a new AC unit that included a gas furnace, which I hadn't ordered. When I brought it to Heritage's attention, I was told they would send me a "corrected" estimate. I think they were hoping I wouldn't notice. The result of all of this is that I haven't had AC in my home for almost a month during one of the hottest periods in a very long time. I hired a different company who gave me an estimate for almost half the amount of the least expensive one I got from Heritage. It's a one-day job scheduled for the day after tomorrow.

Bought a heat pump from them 3 years ago. Cooling has never worked in the summer, heating fails twice every year in winter. Even when it works it can't heat the house over 65 degrees. The problem is always the same, a leak in the line they installed. Instead of fixing the leak, they refill the refrigerant every time and charge me a few hundred dollars. Every time I have helpfully told them about the continuing leak issue, but they don't listen. Now that the heat pump is out of warranty they are recommending a $3000 repair of the problem they should have fixed three years ago. EDIT [responding to reply from the company]: Heritage has had three years to "work on finding a resolution." They have "heard more details" for three years. This issue is not a surprise to them. I finally gave up and filed a Better Business Bureau complaint. Here are some actual quotes from several of their technicians: "There's a leak but we're just going to refill the refrigerant again and hope the problem goes away." "Wow, it looks like the last guy we sent just jacked up the backup electrical heat. Your heating bills must be through the roof!" "We shouldn't be charging you anything for this since the problem started while the unit was under warranty." [but they do continue to charge me] "Yeah, we've had a lot of complaints about our workers refilling the refrigerant instead of fixing leaks." "I'm looking at the service history and the refrigerant has had to refilled five times. That means there's a leak." Every time Heritage sends someone they tell me the last person they sent was incompetent. Do you want to deal with a company with such total lack of self-respect?

I had a very frustrating experience with Heritage and would not recommend their services. Initially, they charged me for a repair they were unable to fix. They informed me they needed to order a part through Bosch and that the part was under warranty, but I would have to pay for labor. I waited about a month before they told me the part had arrived and scheduled a technician to install it. When the technician came, I was told the company had changed ownership and the part had been sent back, causing further delays. After another week of waiting, the part finally arrived and was installed. The installation took approximately 30 minutes, yet I received an invoice for $500 based on a $250 per hour labor rate. After I complained about the excessive charge for such a short visit, they reduced the bill to $300. Unfortunately, a few days later when I tried to turn on the heat pump, it still did not work. It became clear that the technician never tested the system after installing the part. When I called to report the issue, they attempted to charge me an additional diagnostic fee, even though the original problem was never resolved. Overall, I paid hundreds of dollars and my system still does not work. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and failure to properly test their own repair is unacceptable. I strongly advise others to consider a different HVAC company.

I had a heating/cooling whole house mini split installed. Very happy with the service. Quality installation, professional, efficient and clean. James P and Will were the best. Thank you! Vicki Suhl PS I am wondering if my unit is connected to the Kumo Cloud. I would like the ability of setting my temperature when I’m not home. I’m having a difficult time getting that information from the company. Update: Nathaniel was here to update my thermostat to wireless capability. He did a great job! This company is so easy to work with and responsive to their customers concerns and questions. Thank you again. Vicki S On 7-25-23, I had my mini splits checked and cleaned by Mike M. He did a great job! Professional, efficient, and explained what he was going to do. And answered my questions patiently. As a retired senior citizen, I had many questions. 😊 I recommend Mike M and the Quail Co. Thank you, Vicki S 9-2-25, Sebastian R from Quail Co. cleaned and maintained my mini splits and outside unit.Quiet, efficient, and professional. Now I can head into the cooler months with confidence. Thank you! Vicki S 05-08-2026, had my HVAC system cleaned and maintained today by DJ, he did a great job! Professional, efficient and friendly. Thank you!

The boiler permit process was annoying. I kept getting passive aggressive texts about closing the permits, but I didn’t know what the permits even were. When I eventually got the info that I had to specially request, I found that I couldn’t take time off of work to be home for the inspection needed to close the permits because I work during inspection hours. I eventually took a day off unpaid from work to stay home for what was 30 seconds total worth of “inspection”. I know it’s red tape and had to be done eventually, but I didn’t like how I was being talked to in correspondences. I’m leaving 3 stars not because the quality of the work was bad (even though everyone gets sticker shock when I tell them how much my new boiler cost and say I paid way too much), but because of the way I was being talked to like a child or as if I was doing something wrong in the scheduling process. Anyway, I’m happy my boiler is working, happy to have heat, but I wish that instead of weird texts that looked like junk mail/scam mail, I would have gotten a letter or phone call explaining the permits to me. Not everyone knows what the professionals know, and I think the person I was corresponding with forgot that.

The technician initially suggested there might be a chimney issue, so I arranged for a chimney contractor to inspect it today. After a thorough check, they confirmed there is no chimney problem. If there were, the other three older gas heaters connected to the same chimney would not be operating properly. They believe the issue is more likely related to the new heater. Because it has multiple safety sensors, it may be shutting off automatically. One possible cause is insufficient combustion air. In addition, the new unit is installed at the far end of the vent line, farther from the main chimney connection, which could be affecting the draft. They suggested installing a new vent pipe closer to the main chimney line, or creating a more direct exhaust route, to improve performance. Based on this, it appears the problem is related to the installation. Please arrange a time to come back and correct the issue as soon as possible.

I had a main line back up in my house immediately after purchasing and moving into my new house. I called Heritage Plumbing based on the great reviews, after an earlier plumber from a different company was unable to fix the issue. I had been without plumbing for 10 days so was very stressed out and anxious. Luis Alvarez came right away and thoroughly explained what should be done and why and additional things I may want to do and . He answered all of my questions and was patient and helpful as he dealt with my home warranty company, who needed to approve the work being done. I am eternally grateful to Luis and his expertise in correctly. Identifying the issue and what it would take to fix it. I will continue to use Heritage plumbing in the future as I was impressed With the companies, communication and Luis’s expertise, knowledge and skills. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs plumbing work done.

We had used Quail Services in the past for our HVAC system. We didn't have an issue with the work they did in 2019. However, we needed to have the system looked at again and when I called, Samantha said the new company policy requires the owner to be onsite. We weren't on site before and provided a credit card to pay for all work preformed. After Samantha spoke to the Owner, James Quail, he decided that he would not be willing to do the same as last time to perform services to the HVAC system without the owner present. We live out of state, it is tenant occupied, and we would have paid with a credit card as we did in the past. Apparently, he doesn't want to keep customers and doesn't want the work since he was unwilling to help a past customer out. I would not recommend this company for any of their services. Not a good way to do business where a lot of properties are not all owner occupancy.

Steve and Davi were awesome! Very professional, pleasant and thorough. Heritage is our go to when we need services for our home! Travis and Jordan were great! The folks at Heritage have been extremely helpful and understanding when we have called for service. Travis came out to do maintenance on our tankless water heater and when we found it actually needed to be replaced he went above and beyond to show me what was going on, explained what our options were and helped us navigate the best options for our home and budget. The next day, which was before Thanksgiving, he and Jordan returned and got our new system installed. Their professionalism and personalities made what would normally be a stressful situation, easy and painless. Each time we have reached out to Heritage for help, they have been excellent to work with. I highly recommend Heritage and their teams!

The workers are excellent. Nathan who came to the house first to assess our broken furnace was excellent, fast, very personable and helpful. Trevor and Thomas the installers were excellent as well, professional and helpful. The electrician was friendly. The girls who answered the phones were all polite and caring. All the folks who do the actual work were great. They get 5 stars! But there is room for improvement in the area of corporate customer communication and follow ups. i.e. after waiting all day with no heat before the big storm, we called them to find out why they did not arrive; turns out they rescheduled our service date / time and did not notify us. There are other examples. After keeping up our phone calls to them we got a new furnace installed the next day. Again the actual workers are rock stars and were excellent and all deserve a raise!
