Helton Plumbing Hero

We were in the process of having a bathroom remodeled, and just our luck, our water heater goes out. I was recommended to contact Helton Plumbing by our contractors. I spoke with the owner, Jeremy, who was very helpful in my time of panic. Jeremy was able to give me the information about upgrading to different types of water heaters: tankless, tanked and power vent. What I appreciated was the upfront tasks required to install each one, as well as the pros and cons of each unit. We ended up going with the Navian tankless water heater. I've included pictures of the before and after. Carey was my technician for the project. I cannot say enough about how magnificent Carey was. Answered all my questions, explained the process, gave me insight on the new product (including gas use, electrical use, rebate possibilities, etc). Additionally, Carey completed this entire task by himself, wasting no time to get the project going - it was an all day task. Carey even recommended a type of recirculation valve in the primary bathroom that will help to heat the primary bathroom faster (it is the furthest away from the water heater, so historically the shower took 60+ seconds to get hot). The recirculation valve and new water heater have the primary bathroom hot in under 10 seconds. It is sorcery. I am very pleased with the service. Words can't explain how much we are enjoying the new water heater and the constant hot water. Also, the floor space that it opened up is monumental too. I will say that to go from a tank to tankless, it is an investment. It is expensive to make the change. It is definitely worth it - high efficient appliance, lower gas bill and constant hot water. We have young children and always worried about those 'hot pockets' of water in a tank water heater burning one of our kids. The tankless is so consistent I wish our Chicago Bears would take note. Overall, couldn't be happier with how it turned out. If you are on the market for a new water heater, consider Helton Plumbing. They fixed my issue entirely in one day!

I came home from vacation to a leaking pipe and puddle of water on the floor. Helton was able to come within a couple of hours. Carey immediately put my mind at ease. He diagnosed the problem and explained it to me with a photo. He gave me an estimate before he began the work. He had everything he needed to replace the cracked piece of pipe and worked efficiently and professionally. He was friendly and courteous. This was the second time I’ve used Helton and have been 100% satisfied. Julie who took my call was great also.

We have used Helton plumbing many times over the years for various issues (water heater and other pipe related problems) They always do an excellent job. Yesterday they replaced three toilets in our house. Their tech arrived on time and looked over our problems and gave me two options to solve it. One- to rebuild the toilet ( new parts) or two- to replace the entire fixture. We opted for replacement. He had to pick up the fixtures an hour away and then come back to begin. One man on his own and he removed and replaced all three units in three hours. After removing one of the toilets he found a broken flange that needed replacing. And he was equipped for that too. He removed the toilets and wrapped each one in plastic so nothing dropped on our floors. He arrived on time and did the job quickly and cleanly. He took the old toilets and all of the cartons and garbage left over from the install to dispose of. If I could give them more than five stars I would.
