Came out late on a Sunday night, I had a leaky water heater, he replaced the whole thing same day, was quick and was honest and direct on his quote. Did great work and my family was back taking hot showers. They did a great job. Appreciate you for all your help

Professional, fast, honest, and straightforward. This is a family company with that is communicative and thorough. I have used them three times and had three good experiences including once being not charged because there was a simple solution to the problem that Jason simply pointed out to me. Good people that you will feel good about using!

This is the second time I’ve used H.C. Edwards Plumbing Company for repairs on our property. The first time was a major issue with our sewer line to the City and the other was due to a burst pipe due to freezing temps. Jason communicates swiftly, consistently and clearly. He does a great job whether big or small. He takes the time to provide details of what needs to be done and what ended up having to be done after the work was completed. There’s never been a surprise with the costs of his services and he clearly communicates them. I highly recommend H.C. Edwards Plumbing Company.

This man came to my house due to water leaking under my sink he walked in opened my cabinets and pointed at a loose tube closed them and charged me $236! Integrity goes a long way with me he was here for less than 5 mins.

Terrible customer service

Make sure you get a quote BEFORE he comes to your house. I had a leaking PVC pipe and call this company on a Sunday. The man said he will be here in 20 minutes and when he rang my door bell he had already dug a hole in my front yard BEFORE providing me with a quote. I asked how much are you going to charge me and he laughed and said its too late for a quote. He was here for 2.5 hours and fixed the problem. He didn't need to buy any new parts; he said he keeps extra parts on his van. Okay, cool. After he fixed the problem he still didn't tell me the cost, he says I have to calculate it. This man told me $1181. I instantly got offended because he never gave me a quote, but then said, "Sir I charged $375 an hour." WHAT??? So, you had an hourly rate and you knew this already, but refuse to give me a quote? Okay, so we BOTH called the police. Yes, the police came and I agreed to pay half. $600 thanks to the police getting involved. And he charged an additional $30 to pay with a credit card. So, my total was $630. And to make matters worse, the guy started "You peopling me" and saying I was looking for someone to do the job for free. So I knew exactly the type of person I was dealing with. He refused to justify how he came up with that cost. On the invoice it says "Repair leak on 1 inch main water line duc to broken 1 inch pvs male adapter" I'm still upset because I wish I didn't use this "40 years expert" he is a con artist looking for his next victim. All I can say is call the police. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company 0/10 and very unprofessional. **In response to whoever is responding that clearly isn't Jason** You were not there, so don't speak on what you don't know. There wasn't an active leak because I had our water turned off 2 days ago. I've never discussed any "emergency rates" and was never told anything regarding cost. I was told "Man, you're going to make me miss church", and my response to that was, "Don't use me as an excuse because you don't want to go to church". I thought you were honest people, but then truth is you thought you had a fool but not today. Jokes on you. Again, thank you to the Ellis County Sheriff that came out to resolve this con artist in action.

If you’re looking for a plumber in the Dallas area, let me save you the time and effort of finding the right man for the job. Jason, with H.C. Edwards Plumbing is incredible. He was thorough, no BS and all around stellar at his job. The difference in pricing from other services I had looked into was night and day— let alone the quality of service. I made the mistake of reaching out to corporate owned plumbing services. They came to my house and told me that on top of clearing my pipes, I needed double clean outs installed. The price I was quoted was unbelievably off-putting— hence why I decided to shop around. I reached out to Jason and explained the issues we were having and what the plumbers had told me. He quotes me for the same services for less than half the price. Jason comes to my house, identifies that we do in fact have double clean outs installed, then proceeds to clear the blockage in the pipes in a timely and efficient manner. He truly went above and beyond to make sure the issue was resolved on all fronts— no cut corners. Save your time and money and utilize this amazing family operated plumbing business. I cannot tell you the relief I feel after having him come by.

I called early in the morning to leave a voicemail about a water leak in my front yard and other minor leaks in my bathrooms, and received a callback shortly after business hours began. Although I was initially told they wouldn’t be able to come until the next day, they managed to rearrange their schedule and fit me in later that morning. Jason was upfront and honest about the estimated cost. When he and his nephew arrived, they took the time to understand all my concerns and worked quietly, cleanly, and efficiently. What I appreciated most was that Jason took the time to educate me on various plumbing aspects related to my issues. I am 100% satisfied with the work done by H.C. Edwards Plumbing Service and will gladly recommend them to my neighbors, friends, and family.

I had an emergency with my main sewer line—water leaking from under my toilets and sewage backing up into my bathtub and shower. I called at 7 AM and they were able to work me in that same morning, which I truly appreciated. The plumber was extremely professional and took the time to explain everything he was doing. He showed me exactly where the issue was and walked me through the next steps so I knew what to expect. After he left, I still had a few questions, and he not only answered them but even called me back that evening to help me come up with a plan moving forward. Their responsiveness, communication, and willingness to prioritize such a stressful situation meant so much. I highly recommend them for anyone needing honest, reliable, and quick plumbing help.

This is the second time Jason has to come to fix a very tricky plumbing issue in our home. He is easy to schedule with, very respectful and sets realistic expectations. He takes the time to explain what he’s doing and why, which I appreciate since my husband and I are in our first home and just becoming familiar with home maintenance. Both of his jobs at our house took hours outside in the heat, and he never complained once to us and always remained upbeat and respectful despite having been doing manual labor all day long. Jason Edwards, H.C. Edwards’ son provided excellent plumbing service at my 90+ years old home. He let me know when he was arriving, he was polite, he and his assistant Josh did a good job, and there was no clean-up for me to do after the job. He solved my problem which was more involved than it had originally appeared, but he took care of that with efficiency. I should note that another plumbing service had been unable to solve the problem. The pricing was fair. In summary: Good work, fair price, no mess. H.C. Edwards & Son has my strongest recommendation. Jason was fantastic he was able to come a few hours after we hung up. Very nice, and mannerly. Showed and explained what he was doing. Jason had repaired two leaks for us and had water back. Jason finished our home then went next door to my in-laws home it was so wet under the house he had to let it dry out. He told us he would check in the night before he returned to fix broken lines. True to his word he text then came this morning. He repaired. I would highly recommend using this Plumber. I know I will again in the future.

HC taught his son very well! Called Jason on several occasions. Jason did an awesome job on eliminating our bleed pipes and installing one sturdy new faucet in the back. He had to dig a fairly large hole and was very respectful of brick patio area and placement of dirt. Cleaned up the mess and it worked like a charm. Jason literally answers the calls (no machine) he offers solutions, gives pretty close estimates before seeing first hand. Extremely polite and courteous. My friend recommended him. I do too!

I was so worried and it on a Friday night, my water heater was leaking. Called 10 other plumbers just answering machines. Not HC Edwards a human being answered on 2nd ring I was shocked and thankful. He showed up 1 hour later and fixed my hot water heater and no nonsense like the others who are always fishing to get more money out of you. We'll what a blessing he was. I will shout it from my rooftop best plumber and customer ever!!!! Also reasonably priced and efficient since, I still had to go to work.

We had some sudden plumbing issues happening at our house today. H.C. Edwards came over within an hour, diagnosed the problem, and fixed in hardly no time. They were extremely professional and kind.
