My furnace went out while we were on vacation. Came back home to a 55 degree house. Called and the responded quickly. Alex was my service tech and did a great job in getting us up and running. I highly recommend their service and will use them to install new water tank this year. Furnace was under warranty

The 4 stars is for the “company”; all the workers I interacted with were wonderful and get 5 stars. This was the first time I worked with Haven. I previously worked with Heart of Ohio, and it was from them that I received the estimate at the end of 2024 for a new furnace and air conditioner for my house. By the time I decided a couple months later to move forward with the project, Heart of Ohio was already Haven. The suddenness was a little weird to me, but the people were the same, so I decided to go forward. The installers, Mike and Kurt, were great. They were extremely professional and courteous and answered all my questions. I am the kind of person who has to see what’s going on and asks questions about the process. They were patient throughout. They worked efficiently and cleaned up after they were done. I have to mention, also, Jim Damm who gave me the original estimate. He talked with me several times to answer a variety of questions I had. Even if he was tired of my calls, he was wonderfully patient, a true professional! When I first got the estimate, i learned that they had two types of 2-speed furnaces: regular and variable, and that the variable kind was better at adjusting to the environmental demands instead of being full speed on then fully off. I decided to get the variable speed one, even though it was more expensive, because it keeps the heat more consistent. Well, the wrong one was sent to the job. The day of the installation I was looking at the box in the driveway and it didn’t say variable. Mike looked and confirmed that the code on the box said it was the regular 2-speed furnace. There was no push back from Mike, like “I am sure this is correct.” He got on the phone immediately to verify the code on the box and I could hear the dispatcher say that it was indeed the wrong order. Mike arranged to have the correct furnace delivered, which it was, so they finished the job as scheduled. The mixup was handled without problems, but if I hadn’t looked and asked, I would have received the wrong furnace and paid more for it! Besides, how many people actually think of going out and checking? Not many, I imagine. You just assume you are getting the correct thing. Clearly, it was some glitch in the system, and it behold the company to set up checks and balances to make sure this doesn’t happen to other customers.

We recently had Tom from Haven come to our home due to a home inspection repair we had to get done. The issue was some of the outlets had reverse polarity. Tom was quickly able to find the issue and also show me the source of the issue. He was professional, kind, and quick to figure out the problem. I would definitely call Haven again and recommend them to others. I also want to point out from the initial call I had with their staff in the office, I received excellent service. They were able to reassure me that my online submission of the appointment went through and that their electricians could solve my problem. From beginning to end, I had all around great service. Thank you!

I contacted Haven because of on-line reviews and comments made to me by neighbors. I had a HVAC unit that leaked and needed repair before I could turn on the A/C. The technician arrived early. He examined the unit and explained why it was leaking. He also said he could fix it now (He was actually there to give me an estimate of what the repair would cost). It was great that he could do it in one visit. He did the repair, explained the problem, cleaned the main catch basin and drains. He said he was confident the unit was repaired and it would not leak. The cost of the repair was much lower than I had anticipated.

Dave did a fine job. However he surprised me with how much you increased your costs. I’ve always been on your spring and fall program. That went up $100. That seems excessive given I did not sense anything was done different than in previous years. I should have been informed of this increase when my appointment was scheduled. I opted not to enroll in the program and paid $175, which also seems excessive. $75 more than previous years? Given I’m on a fixed income I’ll need to consider other providers and compare their service and cost.

Admittedly, I was worried that my heating/ac company we used for 40 years, and loved them, were now part of Haven-Heart of Ohio. I know sometimes a small company's personal service gets lost when this happens, but thankfully, not , has the service remained top notch, and the pricing consistent, I still request and receive the same serviceman I have always used. Regular check ups as well as emergencies are still handled with the proficiency and care as before. Thank you!

I called Haven at 8 AM to see if they could fix my sump pump and they arrived at about noon the same day as promised. Johnny Noonan and his partner were professional and courteous and diagnosed the problem immediately. They had all the supplies they needed and replaced my sump pump motor and valve within an hour at a fair price. No cleanup mess left behind. I highly recommend Haven Cleveland Heating and Cooling, and I have several odd jobs I'll be calling them for.

Very responsive and they knew exactly what they were doing. They did not just try to sell me on replacing the whole hvac unit like many other contractors, they did a great job diagnosing the problem and repaired my air conditioning unit. I would definitely call them again, especially now that I know they are a one stop shop for all home services including plumbing and electric too.

Called them for an emergency, water leak in my basement. They sent me two emails and a text confirming technician on the way. When no one arrived a full half hour after estimate I called for updated ETA and was told that they did not fulfill the request. No explanation for why they sent a confirmation. Lost two hours of time and left to scramble for emergency plumber.

We had a slow running kitchen sink. We looked on the better business website to find Haven's rating. It is an A+ and had positive reviews. It is a local company and we got an appointment quickly. The serviceman Daniel Begin is knowledgeable and thorough with his repair. Our sink is running again with no problem. Definitely recommend Haven Services.
